The footage of Duen Por Do launching his powerful attack was replayed, and it was even in slow motion.

In an instant, the sword intent pierced through the air and reached Kam Chin Kee, who reacted with a calm smile on his face. The next second, he magically changed places with the blue wolf that Duen Por Do ignore!

Watching it through the screen in real time made it difficult for many to see exactly what happened, but some veterans of gliphism guessed that Kam Chin Kee used a special gliphility that could resonate with the puppets, causing Duen Por Do’s attack to miss and closing the gap between both parties. When Kam Chin Kee reached out his hand to grab Duen Por Do’s neck, Lung Wai Yuet activated the tower to prevent this and sent Duen Por Do out.

Duen Por Do flushed white. He never expected to lose to such an odd method of swapping positions with a gliphility. The thought of losing that piece of everlasting wood and his pristine pentachromatic divine rock inherited from his clan made him yell indignantly, “It’s still unfair! With Kam Chin Kee’s weak body, he wouldn’t be able to hurt me even if he grabbed my neck! I’m a one-chambered glipher!”

People glared at him in disdain. He had already lost the competition, and he was currently no different from a kid making a fuss.

Silence covered the entire arena, and the ruby replayed the footage once again. It now focused on Kam Chin Kee’s hand which was only a few centimetres away from Duen Por Do’s neck.

As he reached out, the teenage boy’s pale hand completely changed into a monstrous claw! Kam Chin Kee suddenly had long sharp nails, resembling a beast!

Duen Por Do’s breath hitched at the sight as chills ran down his spine.

At the same time, Lung Wai Yuet’s voice rang across the arena for the first time since the competition started; “The results have been determined. Please heed the bet that you’ve agreed to or I’ll chase you down personally.”

The audience exchanged glances and looked at Duen Por Do subconsciously, guessing that he and Kam Chin Kee must have made some bet that was witnessed by the mighty Blood Dragon Fairy…

Everyone stared at Duen Por Do solemnly while he was in a bad mood.

Not only did he not get the everlasting wood, he even lost the last treasure his clan passed down to him. Moreover, the cold stare of Fung Seung on the grandstand…

“Hmph, he just wanted my treasure for himself!” Duen Por Do didn’t have much affection for Fung Seung, and similarly, other than making him a customized gliph weapon, Fung Seung wasn’t that sincere to him either. All he hoped for was to become famous through Duen Por Do, which was why he bothered bidding for the everlasting wood to begin with.

Chui Yim walked around aimlessly after going his separate ways with Kam Chin Kee. The blood intent on the seventh floor was exceptionally rich, making him physically stronger even though he was already so robust. It made things less depressing for him, and he was even looking forward to the blood intent on the eighth floor.

Chui Yim managed to realize that every participant in this inter-school exchange was given a prize even if they didn’t win anything – a chance to absorb blood intent. The intent in this tower was the greatest gift for anyone still in their growth phase, able to improve their body without any side effects!

Unfortunately, the seventh floor wasn’t large enough for Chui Yim to relax.

“What a coincidence, Brother Chui.” A figure walked out of the blood fog with a weird smile on his face.

Chui Yim was similarly shocked to see the person coming towards him. Chui Yim seemed to not care much about the competition, but he knew perfectly well that advancing to the next floor became harder and harder the higher one went and that things had only gone so smoothly for him because he had Kam Chin Kee, Chor Kwong Laan, and the rest protecting him.

Now, there was a group of three standing in front of him with two slightly behind the leader, showing the difference in the group’s statuses.

“It’s a party for you, I see.” Chui Yim sighed. The Metallic Blood War Gate is indeed something else, there’s actually three of them that made it to this floor! Of course, Chui Yim was unaware that Suen San Kuk, who was eliminated by Lam Zaa and just became Sze Fung’s second disciple, also made it to this level, making the total count four.

The notion of gliphers being more powerful during the early stages of cultivation played a huge role too.

The group was obviously Lee Bak, Sung Hau, and Ching Lang Pak.

Lee Bak felt helpless coming across Chui Yim too. “Brother Chui surprised me. It’s out of my expectations to see Brother Chui here.” He was only great in medicine and forging, yet he made it here?

“I didn’t know that only you guys are allowed here.” Chui Yim glared at him.

“We are all here for the ranking and the opportunities, please forgive me, Brother Chui,” Lee Bak shook his head and said oddly.

This gained him a glare from Chui Yim once again, who threatened him, “Lee Bak, don’t forget our agreement: I’ll make you a weapon, but you’re not allowed to fight me during the group competition.”

Ching Lang Pak was in utter disbelief. Lee Bak also bought gliph weapons from this kid?

“Brother Chui, I’m not planning to fight you…” Lee Bak chuckled and turned to Ching Lang Pak. “Lang Pak, seek guidance from Brother Chui and catch up after you’re done.”

With that, Lee Bak bid Chui Yim goodbye. “Goodbye, Brother Chui.”

Lee Bak’s words irked Chui Yim. He sounded polite, but what he told Ching Lang Pak made it clear he thought Chui Yim would definitely lose. This made Chui Yim see red. “Lee boy, I’m increasing your price!”

With a laugh and no reply, Lee Bak and Sung Hau disappeared into the blood fog.

There was only Ching Lang Pak and Chui Yim left.

“Brother Chui, I’m Ching Lang Pak from Great Wisdom City, the disciple of the Heaven Reacher Ching Clan asking for your guidance.” Ching Lang Pak lost to Kam Chin Kee back at the Forbidden Forest, but he was still undeniably an outstanding disciple. The fight he lost changed him into a humble teen who strove to give it his all.

To be honest, Ching Lang Pak felt rather confident in going against a single-gliphic gliphist who had yet to create his personal gliph, but hearing tons of amazing stories about his opponent, he respected Chui Yim.

“Come at me then,” Chui Yim huffed, obviously maddened by Lee Bak’s attitude.

Ching Lang Pak was slightly helpless. All Chui Yim did was stand there and shout at him without taking a fighting stance. There were so many loopholes about Chui Yim, yet he wanted Ching Lang Pak to act first… Ching Lang Pak and Chui Yim stared at each other, but soon he remembered Lee Bak’s words.

He was pumped up. Right, let’s finish this and return to Young Master.

With that, he turned to Chui Yim respectfully. “Brother Chui, sorry to offend you.”

Whoosh──

A figure dashed towards Chui Yim!
