Duen Por Do was using a grade two gliph weapon, the Traceless Tempest. It had the Whistle gliph carved on it to give it lighting speed as well as the Traceless gliph, a high-class gliph that allowed the weapon to resonate with shadows and made it difficult to be spotted with the naked eye.

It was tailor-made for Duen Por Do by Fung Seung! Thus, Duen Por Do wasn’t affected by the red shadow that dashed at him. He attacked swiftly, and it was as if there was a bolt of black lightning in the air.

Kam Chin Kee frowned, and his finger moved rapidly. The red bird gliding through the air made a sharp turn and went for Duen Por Do! The latter took half a step back and, with great familiarity, drew a semicircle with his sword!

Kam Chin Kee’s face changed as his fingers danced in the air, blocking this attack with the blue wolf just in time!

Pfft.

Another slash mark could now be seen on the puppet wolf’s tough surface. This puppet was made with spiritual hill wood, so this mark showed just how difficult it was for Kam Chin Kee to block Duen Por Do’s attack. However, the blue wolf was unlike the red bird. Waving its tail, a small knife was thrown at Duen Por Do!

At the same time, the red bird near Duen Por Do launched an attack with its beak that was the equivalent of a grade three gliphic weapon.

Duen Por Do was currently facing a pincer attack but remained composed. After years of tough training, he was extremely determined. In his mind, all he needed was a sword in his hands and he could overcome anything.

Now, he was making use of the skill set passed down by the Duen Clan, Carefree Sword – flowing with heaven and earth, attacking freely.

Duen Por Do released a turbid breath. “Gliphility – Desired Outcome.”

Buzz!

In an instant, the sword in Duen Por Do’s hands buzzed and sword intent shot in all directions!

However, some stayed next to Duen Por Do. This was an attack-type gliphility that had defensive characteristics!

Pfft pfft…

Kam Chin Kee immediately pulled his puppets away from Duen Por Do, but he was so fast that his sword intent was like a storm, leaving numerous cuts in the blue wolf’s face and many holes in the red bird’s wings. The bird was in such a sorry state that it was struggling to fly now, air whistling through the cuts.

Duen Por Do wore an indifferent expression. The battle had only started a moment ago but he only took half a step back and already had the upper hand!

The audience was silent. They thought the puppet technique master Kam Chin Kee was invincible, but now he looked like a piece of fragile glass in front of Duen Por Do!

Kam Chin Kee frowned. From the start, he could feel Duen Por Do’s powerful urge to defeat him.

“I’ve prepared for this battle for ages. I even secretly found out all about your battles in the Forbidden Forest. Your puppets are quite powerful and even seem magical, but at the end of the day, they’re just puppets controlled by strings.”

Kam Chin Kee didn’t reply.

The attack that Duen Por Do launched when he took a step back was a rare movement in swordsmanship. However, he was aiming for the red bird’s strings because it would return to being a non-living thing after it lost what was controlling it. After all, the puppeteer was what made the puppets come alive.

With Duen Por Do’s special gliph weapon and astonishing swordsmanship, the blue wolf’s durable face was filled with scars, and it seemed like Kam Chin Kee was in great trouble.

He stood in front of Kam Chin Kee and looked down at the once mighty puppets that were now in tatters. “It’s time you admit defeat.”

“Admit defeat?” Kam Chin Kee relaxed his frown and wore a sweet smile. “But the battle hasn’t even started.”

Duen Por Do scowled and stared at Kam Chin Kee seriously. He looked intensely but couldn’t see any sign of despair on Kam Chin Kee’s face.

Because of Kam Chin Kee’s special skill that allowed him to draw gliphs in the air, many mistook him as a single-gliphic gliphist. In Duen Por Do’s mind, it didn’t make sense for the single-gliphic Kam Chin Kee to stand against him without any puppets.

What gives him such confidence?

“In that case… I’ll do my best to take down Brother Kam to show my respect to you.”

Kam Chin Kee laughed in response and said nothing more.

Swoosh.

Duen Por Do disappeared from his spot.

Despite losing one of his puppets, Kam Chin Kee moved at a rapid speed, and ordinary sword intent could no longer hit him. He countered Duen Por Do’s rapid movement with the worn-out blue wolf.

On the grandstand, there was a slight change in Sze Fung’s expression. Duen Por Do’s footwork was so fine that he seemed like a great master. Even though he didn’t recognize the battle skills, it was evident from this footwork that Duen Por Do belonged to a clan.

Duen Por Do moved in and retreated when he needed, but he wasn’t sloppy. In fact, he was quite confident!

This kid must definitely be a descendant of a great clan!

Unfortunately for Duen Por Do, the blue wolf was no simple opponent despite its damage. Even with Duen Por Do’s research, he still underestimated the number of mechanisms in the blue wolf. He was nearly eliminated when its face suddenly opened like a door and shot out a bunch of black needles.

This angered Duen Por Do greatly. Kam Chin Kee clearly doesn’t know his place!

Duen Por Do came to a halt and ignored the blue wolf pouncing at him. To deal with bandits, capture their leader!

Kam Chin Kee suddenly felt a strong aura fixated on him!

What is that!? It was even scarier than the Desired Outcome, and it was currently coming for Kam Chin Kee’s glabella.

“Northern Apex.”

Boom!

This attack felt like dozens of attacks at once, yet it also felt like a single attack.

This powerful attack dashed towards Kam Chin Kee like lightning!

Spectating Lung Wai Yuet was surprised by the teenage boys’ battle. Duen Por Do’s gliphility was not a simple attack but one that could lock on to auras – it was a homing attack! This meant that even Kam Chin Kee who was great at dodging couldn’t escape this powerful attack!

Based on this gliphility alone, Lung Wai Yuet concluded that Duen Por Do was no weaker than Lee Bak!

Where did this powerful kid come from!?

Pfft!

The Metallic Blood Giant Tower couldn’t react in time before the powerful Northern Apex’s intent pierced something.

Death was certain!

There was now a hole in the blue wolf, which was made with precious, almost indestructible wood…

“…”

Confusion washed over Duen Por Do. Isn’t the blue wolf next to me? Duen Por Do blankly stared at the blue wolf.

By the time he reacted, he was surrounded with blood-coloured light and a sound rang in his ear; “You lose.”

After Duen Por Do was transported out of the tower by the ball of blood-coloured light, he furiously screamed, “What the hell, I didn’t lose!”

His battle with Kam Chin Kee was the focus of the entire audience. It was quite intense, and conveniently no one else was battling at the moment. Forget Duen Por Do, even the audience was protesting the result.

They didn’t understand what happened. Only the elites in the audience saw what happened.

Suddenly, the footage projected by the ruby changed. This was a rare sight!
