Suen San Kuk’s face turned green and his heart pounded. If he had acted any slower, he would have died from the energliph that entered his body.

After some hesitation, he spoke up, “Did Brother Lam perhaps attain a special body form?”

“Brother Suen is observant.” Lam Zaa smiled thinly and stared at the other with a weird gaze.

“I concede defeat in front of such violent energliph,” Suen San Kuk said respectfully. “But before I leave the tower, can I ask how Brother Lam acquired such a special body form?”

Smiling, Lam Zaa whispered his answer and received a shocked and envious look from Suen San Kuk. After looking confused for some time, Suen San Kuk sighed. “I accept defeat at the hands of the powerful Brother Lam. When I improve in the future, I’ll ask Brother Lam for guidance once again.”

“Please.” Lam Zaa returned a respectful gesture.

The next moment, Suen San Kuk shouted to give up and left the Metallic Blood Giant Tower. Such a clear-cut action left many looking at him with admiration. He was also the first disciple from his institution to leave the tower not severely injured. His fellow schoolmates flashed him smiles of kindness as they were happy at how he represented their institution.

No wonder this institution has been able to last for hundreds of years in the South, the audience thought.

At this moment, a manly voice boomed across the arena, “Suen San Kuk, I intend to take you in as my second disciple. Are you willing?”

The crowd turned to the voice subconsciously to see that it was the Metallic Blood War Gate’s principal – Sze Fung!

Hearing him, Suen San Kuk was ecstatic and knelt on the ground instantly. “Disciple greets Master!”

“Hahaha, hurry and get up.” Sze Fung had noticed Suen San Kuk long ago and found that this talented teen was exceptionally determined and, more importantly, straightforward and upright despite his young age! Sze Fung was similarly happy to have Suen San Kuk as his disciple, so he invited him up to watch the rest of the competition. “We can leave the ceremony for later. Come to the grandstand and watch the remaining competition with me.”

“Yes, Master,” Suen San Kuk replied with respect and made his way toward Sze Fung’s back as many pairs of eyes watched him with envy. Sze Fung was the principal of the Metallic Blood War Gate as well as Lung Wai Yuet’s first disciple. His status was exceptional, and being his disciple meant that Suen San Kuk would be given access to secret skills, gliphilities, elixirs, and more. Moreover, Sze Fung himself was a powerful four-chambered glipher!

Resources, a famous master, and talent – Suen San Kuk now had everything he needed to become the next powerful four-chambered glipher in a hundred years.

On the other hand, Lam Zaa captured the attention of the audience, who were filled with even more curiosity towards him. Suen San Kuk might only have common gliphs tattooed on his body, but with his creativity and great sensitivity toward battle, he created a quality gliphility that allowed him to surpass many of his generation.

One could never be too careful facing a gliphility that combined attack and movement. However, this same Suen San Kuk was defeated easily by Lam Zaa. He didn’t even hesitate to concede defeat after merely dodging a single slap.

So how powerful must Lam Zaa be?

Chui Yim and Kam Chin Kee met up on the seventh floor. Similar to what he did in the Forbidden Forest, he located Chui Yim through the positioning puppet.

Chui Yim was disappointed to hear that Chor Kwong Laan was eliminated as this junior was from the same clan as Chor Shing Chit, his brother whom he had been through life and death with. This made him want to take care of Chor Kwong Laan.

“But I never thought I’d meet you here. I thought that you would’ve been eliminated already.” Kam Chin Kee teased.

“This boy… give me a few more years and I’ll be able to take your life with a single punch,” Chui Yim responded angrily.

“You wouldn’t defeat me even after ten years,” Kam Chin Kee said so calmly that it angered Chui Yim even further.

“Don’t ask me to help with your puppets ever again!”

This made Kam Chin Kee laugh and apologize. “I was wrong, Big Brother.”

With that, the duo chatted happily as they moved on as if the stressful atmosphere didn’t affect them. The seventh floor was only two floors away from the last floor, and everyone left was a generational talent.

It didn’t take long before a cold voice rang out behind them; “I’ve finally found you guys.”

Chui Yim didn’t feel anything because of his low cultivation state, but Kam Chin Kee was already frowning. A blue and red shadow shot forward, and the blue wolf blocked in front of Chui Yim and himself.

Their gazes both moved toward the same location.

Whoosh. There was a strong gale. Chui Yim realized that it was no ordinary wind but sword aura, which had arrived before the owner.

The blood fog separated into two sides, revealing a teen holding a sword.

Even Grandma Chin Shu frowned at this scene. “Which kid is this? His sword aura is comparable to Fok Fung’s…”

“You know him?” Kam Chin Kee exchanged a glance with Chui Yim.

“That’s what I wanted to ask you.” Chui Yim huffed.

Thus, Kam Chin Kee could only turn to the fierce-looking teen. “Who are you?”

The teen paused for a moment like he was being insulted. “I’m called Duen Por Do, and I’m here to defeat you both.”

“Are you going to take action or shall I?” Chui Yim touched his smooth head and turned to Kam Chin Kee.

“Me. You’re not his opponent after all,” Kam Chin Kee replied honestly. Chui Yim fumed in anger and was about to scold Kam Chin Kee, but he knew Kam Chin Kee wouldn’t mess around in a situation like this.

“Okay, I’ll leave first then,” Chui Yim said unwillingly.

“Go on, don’t hinder me,” Kam Chin Kee said like he was chasing away a fly and turned to the teen excitedly. “C’mon, let’s fight.”

But Duen Por Do wasn’t willing to let Chui Yim leave so easily. “Trying to escape, huh?” he said coldly,

Swoosh!

Pfft!

Both noises rang out at the same time, but if one listened closely, they could hear the small time gap between each noise.

The blue wolf defended Chui Yim and there was now a hole in the perfect monstrous face of the puppet, which had been through several battles in this tower.

“Such a fast sword!” Kam Chin Kee gasped. Chui Yim would have been eliminated if he was half a second slower!

Duen Por Do was anxious and helpless. The sight of the blue wolf staring at him was a sign that he wouldn’t be able to prevent Chui Yim from leaving.

Huff… Duen Por Do took a deep breath to calm himself down before saying the line he had prepared. “Well, a one-on-one is fine, but I don’t mind if both of you come at me together.”

Kam Chin Kee felt the teen was acting weirdly. He was anxiously trying to stop Chui Yim from leaving yet he’s suddenly so composed? As a man who reincarnated twice, Kam Chin Kee could see through Duen Por Do’s error-filled performance.

“I can take care of you by myself,” Kam Chin Kee replied with a huge smile like he always did.
