The total number of gliphers in the world greatly exceeded gliphist and soldiers were mainly them. But the huge effects and large area covered by a gliphist’s attack made them the true pillars of this world without even considering their ability to tattoo gliphs.

You wouldn’t find someone like Lee Bak out of a hundred gliphists, becoming a glipher when he could be a gliphist.

Just as Ha Yu Bing finished, Kong Yau opened her eyes. Gliph strings speckled with starlight flew around her. She cultivated the Stars Unite Education Center’s secret style, the Stars Unite Secret, a grade five style that wasn’t of the five elements, as cultivators gathered their energy from stars in the night sky.

The Stars Unite Secret was a powerful style, and the cultivator could summon starlight when they had cultivated it to its final form. It wasn’t part of the five elements but was possibly even stronger.

Kong Yau confidently constructed her new gliph. Her repeated failures didn’t affect the confidence on her face, instead energizing her.

Soon, there was only half an hour left. Four of the eight participants succeeded, including Ha Yu Bing and Yuen Yau. Meanwhile, Kong Yau and two others were in the midst of constructing a gliph. However, there was a huge difference between them. Kong Yau was filled with confidence without the slightest doubt on her face, but the two other participants were on the verge of a breakdown.

It was a sign that they were weak in creating gliphs; it was a difficult task, after all.

Most powerful gliphs were only created after months and years of preparation, and there weren’t even any requirements. It was extremely difficult to accomplish this within four hours.

However, this didn’t seem to include a certain Mung Si. She had been meditating from the start, and a single gliph string had yet to be seen around her. Some even suspected that she had fallen asleep.

At the same time, the others in her class were left speechless by her results yesterday. For example, Lee Bat Fan and Suet Sing Fuk had disdain all over their faces. It was expected; since most of the class weren’t even friends. Besides the unique Chui Yim - Kam Chin Kee duo, not many were able to forge strong friendships like Chor Kwong Laan, Wong Chow Yip and On Kuet after the Forbidden Forest trip. Most still view each other as rivals. After all, every one of them came with the intent to enter the Cloud Palace, and there was only one slot.

Another’s success was bad for them, so most were willing to watch each other fail.

Soon, there were less than fifteen minutes left. The ball of light around Kong Yau had finally shattered, indicating her success.

The only ones left were the two nameless participants and Mung Si. Kong Yau looked over with a smirk. Finally, she’s unable to catch up when it comes to an actual test, huh?

Soon, only five minutes were left!

Even Chui Yim was frowning. “Did that girl really fall asleep?”

“Worried?” Kam Chin Kee laughed and stared at him meaningfully.

“What are you laughing at? Don’t make me punch you!” Chui Yim yelled in anger.

“Hahaha.” Kam Chin Kee laughed teasingly.

As if feeling the crowd staring at her, Mung Si opened her eyes as a sea of fire appeared around her. Gliph strings resembling fire waves intersected each other fiercely. With a boom, the ball of light around her instantly shattered. The entire process took less than a few seconds!

The crowd was shocked stupid.

This… Did she succeed in a single try?

“What?” As a veteran, Grandma Chin Shu obviously knew what was going on. With a complex look, she explained the situation. “She had already given her gliph many attempts within her mind, and this was the only time she succeeded. She is so familiar with the subject that she can construct gliphs in her mind without any mistakes.

“With her, the North will thrive for another hundred years!”

The important figures on the stone platform looked solemn.

Despite being unhappy with each other most of the time, Southerners only had one enemy and that was the Northerners, like Mung Si. Her excellent performance this time was enough to prove how powerful she could become a hundred years later, becoming another Man Chin Hung when she reached the hundred or thousand gliphic state, enough to single-handedly restrain the South!

“Time’s up!” Grandma Chin Shu kept the Divine Tome of Heaven Domination. The remaining two participants looked dismayed, but they exchanged glances as if comforting each other.

Since they failed to construct a gliph, they had lost.

“Let’s start with the participant who succeeded first.” Grandma Chin Shu personally wanted to inspect Ha Yu Bing’s personal gliphs, too. The faster one could create their personal gliphs, the more talented they were. Only gliphists who lacked skill adopted completed gliphs as their own.

Ha Yu Bing knew it was her. She took a deep breath and stepped forward.

Since it was a self-created gliph, it had a strong connection with her. Therefore, despite the short period since it was created, she felt a weird sense of familiarity.

A cold aura rose from half a meter before Ha Yu Bing as icy gliph strings intertwined. The chill made Mung Si, who cultivated the opposite fire-attributed Blazing Skies style, frown slightly.

A middle-aged man in the audience teared at this scene but forced his tears back when he noticed it. Luckily, nobody noticed the tear that rolled down his cheeks. He couldn’t contain his tears when he saw Ha Yu Bing’s personal gliph, which was a blade.

It was just a simple silhouette, but its sharpness matched the snowy Wind Style well, making anybody who looked at it get goosebumps. It was the Ha clan’s Burning Leaf Blade.

As a gliphist, she couldn’t learn the Burning Leaf Blade of the Ha Clan, but that didn’t make her any less of a Ha Clan member! Cold and determined, Ha Yu Bing looked up. “This is my personal gliph, the Freezing Frost Blade!”

Grandma Chin Shu nodded. She was pleased with both the gliph and Ha Yu Bing; she could immediately discern the potential and strength of the gliph. But performance for the audience was still required, so she turned to Sze Fung and nodded. The other party immediately understood and asked for a puppet to be brought to the stage without further ado.

The Metallic Blood War Gate disciples did as they were told; the puppet was obviously good quality and made with clandestine silver.

“Attack the puppet with your gliph to test its power.”

“Yes.” After the Metallic Blood War Gate disciples stepped away, Ha Yu Bing did so. With a loud buzz, she fiercely attacked the puppet!

A blue shadow shot past, leaving behind no trace. There was a deep slash on the puppet’s shoulders, and snow could be seen along the injury.
