After Mung Si reached the 9,000 mark, she used most of her time to inspect the gliphs that had been slightly altered. This was the difference between Mung Si and Kong Yau.

Kong Yau had imprinted the basic gliphs in her mind with her naturally powerful memory, so the tiny changes from the Divine Tome of Heaven Domination were hard for her to spot. This was especially so since the gliphs retained ninety per cent of their original appearance. Leaving Kong Yau aside, even some hundred-gliphic gliphists on the stone platform might get some answers wrong.

But Mung Si drew the gliphs with a brush repeatedly, so any tiny changes immediately felt out of place to her.

As she clenched victory in the first round, Grandma Chin Shu didn’t make many comments as she was a Northerner. “The qualifiers are: Cloud Palace outer sect—Mung Si, Stars United Education Center—Kong Yau, Apex Temple—Yuen Yau, Great Book Academy—Ha Yu Bing…”

The crowd no longer paid attention to the remaining names as Ha Yu Bing, who ranked fourth, had scored about 7,000. Meanwhile, the fifth contestant only scored about 2,000. The great gap made the crowd view the rest of the participants as decorations.

Mung Si remained calm and took her seat with the outer sect. The other gliphists in her class, like Suet Sing Fuk and Lee Bat Fan, were speechless.

Mung Si’s performance was out of this world.

Even though she had proved herself to be a capable gliphist back at the Forbidden Forest with her Blazing Skies style and her personal Inferno Phoenix gliph, many believed that her strength was because of her Blazing Skies Style and her luck in creating such a powerful personal gliph.

Honestly speaking, without a strong foundation in basic gliphism, creating such a superb personal gliph was impossible. Furthermore, without great potential, the Blazing Skies Mountain Yim Clan would never have made an exception and allowed an outsider with a different surname to cultivate their style.

Mung Si had proved herself, shutting up anyone doubting! Even Lam Zaa stared at Mung Si weirdly.

At night. Chui Yim was cultivating on his black cushion when Yeung Chun called him out for a visitor.

It was in fact, an unusual guest. The soft moonlight blanketed the garden Yeung Chun had grown with care. It was stunning, especially since the flowers were blooming in steam. However, the beauty of the moonlight-speckled garden was no match for the girl waiting.

“Why are you here?” Chui Yim looked away awkwardly and coughed. The teen girl frowned upon hearing him. He really…

“There’s definitely something that brought me here,” After a short pause, the girl continued. “How confident are you of curing me?”

Yep, it was Mung Si, today’s champion, who had come to treat her energy dissociation.

Chui Yim was taken aback by Mung Si’s words. He didn’t expect her to mention the matter again. “Ninty per cent.” He answered professionally.

“Okay.” Mung Si replied monotonously. With her expressionless face, Chui Yim couldn’t even guess what she was thinking.

“How much will it cost?” She asked after a long pause.

“Cost?” Chui Yim was confused.

“The medical bills.” Softly yet confidently, Mung Si answered.

Understanding her words, Chui Yim shook her head. “It’s free, just that I hope the Northerners won’t find trouble with the Chor Clan after the previous incident in exchange. The reason why we didn’t carry out the treatment previously is because you rejected it. But we can still start now.”

Mung Si’s face flushed red as a tomato when she heard Chui Yim, but she calmed herself down and shook her head. “Not now, after the interschool exchange. I’ll come again.”

With that, she scuttered off, and Chui Yim could even sense the Lightweight gliph waves around her.

“What?”

Kam Chin Kee peeked out from his room sneakily and laughed. “Wow. Good job for secretly stealing the Northern Goddess’s heart!”

“Crazy,” Chui Yim rolled his eyes. “Look at her status; why would she fall in love with me? I’m just a country bumpkin!”

However, Kam Chin Kee only smiled. He secretly felt that Chui Yim was too naive. Girls didn’t need a reason to fall in love.

“Come here. Time to test our idea, or it will be too late. The group competition is in two days!” Excitement washed over Chui Yim’s face. He was like a kid who had gotten a new toy.

However, Kam Chin Kee was full of doubt. “Really? Are you sure?”

“Why do you have so much to say?” Chui Yim was getting impatient, but Kam Chin Kee still felt unsure.

“Then…I’ll start?”

“Hurry up!” Chui Yim nodded and thumped his chest.

Boom!

“Damn you! I knew you wanted to kill me for a long time!” Chui Yim’s angry shout spread across the Wandering Son’s Lake.

The next day.

Mung Si walked past Chui Yim onto the stage as if nothing had happened. Yuen Yau, Ha Yu Bing and Kong Yau followed her in no time. As for the other qualified participants, they were basically ignored by the spectators.

Everyone stared at the stage in anticipation. Today, the best gliphist of this generation would be revealed!

Grandma Chin Shu started once all participants had arrived. “Today is the finale of the gliphism segment, and the Great Book Academy will be giving out a soulbless fruit as a reward!”

The audience exchanged glances upon hearing it. Most had no idea what the soulbless fruit was; it was an item only cultivators viewed as a treasure, unlike the Divine Bracelet of Five Elements. Grandma Chin Shu had anticipated this as well. The Great Book Academy felt great pain gifting it as a reward, but they had no choice after seeing the prize for the forging segment.

Even Ping Chi had to reward the winner of the alchemy segment with a grade-four immortal elixir! The lowest grade of this elixir was grade four, and it was said that whoever took it would come back to life no matter their injuries. Grade five immortal elixirs only were the stuff of legend, rumoured to be able to revive somebody. He would immediately return to his best condition, full of energliph. Having this elixir was akin to having an extra life. Thus, even Yip Luk Ching, who rarely showed her emotions, smiled joyfully when she received the reward.

Therefore, the Great Book Academy wouldn’t embarrass themselves by offering something sub-par. In the end, they were left with the soulbless fruit!

“In this world with a huge variety of g-food, some allowed cultivators to obtain special body forms, and there were countless such special body forms that could be obtained,” Hearing her, the outer sect disciples all turned to Chui Yim. He was lucky to get the Heaven Spring Body form after consuming g-food in class. It wasn’t of a high grade, but it was still a type of body form.

Special body forms were all rare, or the word “special” wouldn’t be in the name.

It was only common because the outer sect was filled with talents. There might not even be one special body form in ordinary institutions out of a thousand disciples. Special body forms could only be obtained by luck, not force. Without fate, even a four or five-chambered, hundred or thousand-gliphic state cultivator wouldn’t have one.
