Yeung Tin Hun and Man Yee Ho knew someone who had the same name as each other in their past lives, but none of them thought too much of it as there were far too many people who held the same name in the world, especially auspicious names like Tin Hun.

The snowstorm finally died down after some time. Both teens stood up simultaneously, with Yeung Tin Hun breaking the silence.

“Brother Man, since fate brought us together, do you wish to continue the journey together?” He probed.

“I’m used to being alone.” Man Yee Ho shook his head, and Yeung Tin Hun accepted his reply.

He had expected it already, asking merely out of courtesy; he never planned to have a partner accompany him on his trip anyways. As a cultivator who could fight against two-chambered gliphers, the periphery of the Snowdrift mountain range wasn’t much for him. If not, he wouldn’t be here.

“Since that’s the case, I’ll take my leave first.” Yeung Tin Hun bowed as he activated his skill, turning into a silver shadow and vanishing into the white snow. Man Yee Ho put out the fire, tidied up the cave and left slightly later.

His fingers danced in the air, creating a gliph formation around him which made the snow that landed on him disappear instantly. With that, Man Yee Ho trudged through the snow.

Two figures were fleeing in a sorry state, turning around from time to time as if a terrifying beast was chasing them when there was in fact nothing behind them. Both of them only stopped when one of them tripped over a huge rock.

“Who was that kid!”

“I saw him kill Kok Yeung!”

“How could that be? Leader Kok is a two-chambered glipher while that kid’s energliph showed that he’s only a one-chambered glipher!”

“Luckily we fled, or we would have joined them in heaven.”

The duo shared a glance as they caught their breath. But they tensed up when they suddenly heard a voice.

“Are you sure you ran fast enough?”

“Impossible!” They turned around with their mouths wide open and utterly stunned. To their disbelief, the silver-robed teenager stood behind them in the snow holding his spear. He was glaring at them coldly as if they were already dead.

“Having malicious intent and planning something against me is suicide.” The teenager was none other than Yeung Tin Hun.

“No! No!” Both turned and dashed away, but how could they compete with Yeung Tin Hun? His spear flew through the air and pierced through the throat of one of them, leaving a hole three fingers wide. Warm, red blood flowed mercilessly like a fountain despite his efforts to stop it. The man was on the ground in no time and faced a restless death.

The commotion attracted the other man’s attention. He was horrified after seeing his companion die, which made him run as fast as he could.

“Hmph.” Yeung Tin Hun waved his spear to remove the bloodstains on it. In no time, the spear was as good as new. The spear was made with large amounts of frost stalactite essence extracted from the frost stalactite found at the bottom of a lake in the South, which gave the spear its frosty aura.

At Yeung Tin Hun’s request, a superior gliph, Divine Speed, was carved on it. The difficulty of forging a gliph weapon rose with its grade because of its gliph. A gliph weapon wasn’t big enough for those superior gliphs that were normally very large. Could you imagine how tedious it was to force such a large gliph onto such a small weapon?

Divine Speed was a superior gliph kept secret from the world besides the few organisations who knew of it. It was slightly easier to draw than the Chor Clan’s Spiral Dragon and Wong Clan’s Ferocious Tiger.

Divine Speed’s founder was a cultivator who used speed as his weapon. Before his death, he managed to draw out his energliph pathway into the shape of a gliph, which was the current Divine Speed. The spear with Divine Speed carved moved at one-hundred and fifty percent speed. This put this gliph weapon at the peak of all grade one gliph weapons, meaning it was one of the best grade one gliph weapons around!

This was the Snow Glider! This weapon could serve Yeung Tin Hun for at least ten years until he reached the three-chambered state.

As someone who trained in spears over both lives, ordinary one-chambered gliphers couldn’t resist him once he received the almighty Snow Glider. In just one second, he was only a few metres away from the other fleeing glipher even though he had just despatched the first one.

Snow Glider flew through the air towards the man’s back!

Buzzz….

Hearing a weird buzz behind him, the fleeing man turned around only to see a holographic sword in front of him, while the silver spear was a distance away!

Yeung Tin Hun took three steps back with a frown. As soon as he did, three spears dropped from the sky and landed where he just stood. However, the spears immediately vanished after landing.

A gliph? Or is it energliph?

Yeung Tin Hun found the source of the energliph—a figure next to the small hill shrouded in a thin, silver silky layer of snow. The striking red robe with purple flowers embroidered on it looked weird, yet the teen wearing it remained silent.

“Stay out of the way.” Yeung Tin Hun frowned at the teen. He wouldn’t harm him unless he needed to since the other party had given him food and shelter earlier, but all Man Yee Ho did was stare at his feet and space out.

“Killing the innocent. You…” Suddenly, he looked up murderously. His red robes swayed in the air; even the snow seemed to avoid him. “Deserve death.”

Yeung Tin Hun watched this curiously. He had lived two lives, and in the past, he was known for his unpredictable spearmanship, Empyreal Dragon Step and Dragon Seeker. Adding on the Four Seasons Heaven special skill he learnt in this life, he believed that not many of his generation were his equal. The teen in front of him seemed to be his age, but his aura told Yeung Tin Hun that he possessed great strength—potentially rivalling his own.

Yeung Tin Hun had always been a martial art fanatic, but in his past life, he lived in a world of technology where martial arts had faded away; he was an outlier. Reincarnating into a world of martial arts was a blessing to him. Now that he had found a worthy opponent his age, how could he not be overjoyed?

His prey had long been forgotten as Yeung Tin Hun focused on the red-robed teenager before him.

“Interesting!” The moment he spoke, he turned into a silver shadow that shot towards Man Yee Ho.
