Many students looked at Chui Yim with complicated expressions after hearing the third teacher’s announcement.

Half a month’s worth of school had passed, yet their impression of Chui Yim was ever-changing. From the special quota to a thirteen-year-old blacksmith capable of customising gliph weapons and Doctor Odd Ping Chi’s disciple, there was so much information that made the various talents view Chui Yim in awe. Especially those who visited Chui Yim for a custom gliph weapon; they treated him much better compared to how they did before.

And now, the legendary third teacher asked Chui Yim to stay behind. They were curious: Why?

The third teacher stood at the small plaza of the outer sect with his hands behind his back. Due to his plump size, he made a weird scene. The guilty Chui Yim walked in cautiously. Knowing that the third teacher was more than what he seemed, he greeted him unwillingly after a cough.

“Third teacher, I’m here.”

Hui Sai Cheong turned around to Chui Yim. He scanned his surroundings quickly as he scooted closer to Chui Yim while he made sure that nobody else was around. “Little brother Chui, I say… Do you still have any glutinous wine left?”

Hui Sai Cheong had a bitter expression as he sat on the ground. Next to him was Chui Yim in utter disbelief.

“Do you know how tough a time I’m having? The Cloud Palace is a place of freedom. We were allowed to do whatever we wanted, but I once drank too much and made a mistake. After I went to our first senior’s residence and got drunk, I fished from his pond to get a snack to go with my wine. He then banned me from drinking ever since.”

Sadness washed over Hui Sai Cheong’s face as he talked about it. ”It’s been almost twenty years since I last drank! Do you know how long it’s been? I’m going crazy! I was banned from buying any, so I tried to brew my own wine. But the first senior always caught me! He even confiscated my cooking wine!

“My life is so dull! And I nearly lost it when I smelled the wine on you today!” He grabbed his hair, nearly sobbing as he told Chui Yim his story. Hui Sai Cheong then grabbed Chui Yim’s hand which looked tiny compared to his own large hands. “Please! I beg you! Get me some wine, will you? Take it as pitying a fellow wine lover!”

Chui Yim didn’t respond. Currently, he was rooted to the ground.

Where’s your shame? Where are the moral principles? Where are the powerful cultivators they talked about? What happened to the Cloud Palace that stayed away from worldly affairs? What happened to being the first in the world?

Hui Sai Cheong shattered the great impression of Cloud Palace in Chui Yim’s mind.

Chui Yim was only allowed to leave the outer sect after promising to sneak in some wine for Hui Sai Cheong during the next special lesson.

On his way home, he finally understood that the seven teachers of Cloud Palace whom the world looked up to, were normal humans just like everyone else. This thought put a smile on Chui Yim’s face as he skipped back to his residence.

However, there was already somebody waiting for him in the living room. The person turned around after hearing his footsteps. It was Kam Chin Kee, but it was a different version of him. With bloodshot eyes and a serious expression, the gentle Kam Chin Kee was nowhere to be seen. “It’s time for some answers.”

“What answers?” Chui Yim was confused. “Are you still drunk from yesterday?”

Kam Chin Kee’s face fell as he glared at him. “Can’t you tell that I’m being serious?” felt not needed.

Chui Yim sat next to him and poured himself a cup of tea. “It’s such a pity that you were absent today. The godly taste of that Heaven Spring Fish…” As he spoke, it was as if he could still taste the fish. The thought of him obtaining the Heaven Spring Body put a smile on his face.

Kam Chin Kee ignored his mumbling and placed a jade bottle on the table. “The unnamed fire bead from that day.”

The bottle took Chui Yim by surprise. After that day, he had forgotten this matter due to the shock from hearing the name Craftsman Kam, and the New Rich project now took up most of his time and energy.

“Thanks, but I won’t be paying you back.” With that, he kept the bottle.

Kam Chin Kee ignored him again and placed another item on the table. “This…”

Chui Yim took a closer look, only to realise that it was his New Rich One!

“What the hell! Why did you steal my New Rich One? This is what I use for cutting meat!” Chui Yim stowed it away instantly.

Kam Chin Kee’s head throbbed. He’s a born clown. “This… reads one, am I right?” He pointed to the mark at the end of New Rich One’s handle.

Chui Yim jumped up and stared at him fearfully. “How… How did you know?”

Kam Chin Kee stared at him with bloodshot eyes and a solemn expression. He had always guessed that Chui Yim was just like him, someone who had reincarnated, but it didn’t affect him much until he saw the number and realised they were both from the Sallow Continent!

This discovery shocked Kam Chin Kee, and he decided to come clean to Chui Yim after some time. “Because I can read this word too.”

Yeung Chun was currently watering the plants in the courtyard. With Chui Yim’s permission, he grew many plants in the courtyard. Under his care, they started to sprout. He looked at his plants satisfactorily and turned to the living room.

Seeing how both Kam Chin Kee and Chui Yim looked upset, he dared not bother them and left.

“You can read it? How?” He turned to Kam Chin Kee with an ugly expression.

Now, Kam Chin Kee had calmed down. “The same way you do.”

Both of them were testing the waters, fearing that the answer they received differed from what they expected.

“That’s impossible.” Chui Yim shook his head.

Kam Chin Kee glared at him before quickly shaking his head. “You’re right. It should be impossible.”

The name “Craftsman Kam” again played in Chui Yim’s mind. The same pseudonym as the sculptor in the Sallow Continent.

But… How is this possible?!

“Why did you choose Craftsman Kam as your pseudonym?” Chui Yim stared at him deeply as if trying to see the answer.

“Why do you ask?” Kam Chin Kee looked at him back.

“There’s another sculptor in my hometown known as Craftsman Kam, which is why I’m curious.” Chui Yim regained his composure as he explained.

“Your hometown?” Kam Chin Kee felt his heart skip a beat at Chui Yim’s words.

“Yes, my hometown.” Chui Yim nodded as if trying to find a way to explain. “Somewhere very distant from here. It’s totally different. Not just the people, but language, words and many other things. Everything’s different.”

“Where are you from…” Anxiousness took over Kam Chin Kee.

“The Sallow Continent.” Chui Yim finally spoke after a long sigh.
