Three days passed by in a flash.

Chui Yim spent his time either in the Cloud Palace outer sect or back at his residence. He wasn’t feeling urgent as he knew that somebody would definitely come to him and indeed, three days later, a teenager stood outside his door.

The teen stared at the huge sign, “Poor men rejected”, and was utterly confused. Am I at the right place?

But as the memories of the fight flooded his mind, he gritted his teeth and walked into the residence with a large step. “I’ll do it!”

He entered the residence to be left in awe by the beautiful courtyard. Despite coming from a prestigious clan, everything in the clan’s mansion belonged to the clan, while everything in this residence belonged to Chui Yim. Possessions belonging to the clan and yourself was like the difference between heaven and earth.

At the same time, Chui Yim came out of the residence to greet him with his bright teeth and head. “Welcome, brother Wong.”

The teen was none other than Wong Chow Yip, who had fought Chor Kwong Laan and lost badly because the latter had New Rich Two.

The incident drove him insane. Soon after, he found out that the weapon was Chui Yim’s work which he made for Chor Kwong Laan at a reasonable price.

An ordinary grade one gliph weapon normally costs 3,000 to 5,000 silver taels, while a superior one wouldn’t cost more than 10,000 silver taels. As there were many one and two-gliphic state gliphers worldwide, gliph weapons of lower grades were still popular.

However, a custom gliph weapon made by a great master would cost at least 15,000 silver taels and most great masters preferred making higher-grade weapons rather than customising a low-grade one.

Wong Chow Yip was convinced when he heard that Chui Yim’s custom weapon only cost the price of a superior grade one gliph weapon. That aside, Chor Kwong Laan was the actual reason that made him approach Chui Yim. The two had always been on par, but because of New Rich Two, Chor Kwong Laan had overtaken him! Only a customised grade-one gliph weapon could help him close the gap.

“Brother Chui, I want to customise a grade one gliph weapon. What’s the price?” Wong Chor Yip was a straightforward person. As soon as he sat down, he got to the main point.

Chui Yim was celebrating in his heart, but he pretended to be unfazed and unsure. “Because of my close relationship with the Chor Clan, I made an exception and designed  a weapon for him… I’m sure you know that a customised weapon usually cost a bomb…”

“Ten thousand silver taels,” Wong Chow Yip replied. “How’s that?”

This put a smile on Chui Yim’s face.

Ten thousand is already the price of an ordinary grade two gliph weapon!

However, Chui Yim continued to look torn. He only smiled and spoke after some time, “Alright! You’re now my friend!” .

Wong Chow Yip smiled after hearing Chui Yim. “I like how straightforward brother Chui is.” He slapped his jade and took out 10,000 silver taels in cash. “I like straightforward people. Even though Brother Chui’s a good friend of the Chor Clan, I’ll still be friends with you.

“Let’s not waste any more time and begin right away.” Chui Yim kept the cash happily despite wearing a serious expression. Easy money! This is way better compared to the sneaky deal in South Imperial City’s auction house.

“Show me your gliph and gliphility.”

This didn’t surprise Wong Chow Yip. To every glipher, their gliph was their biggest secret. However, he knew this was a mandatory step to tattooing gliphs and customising  gliph weapons. He lifted the sleeve on his left hand and revealed a thumb-sized Hidden Cloud gliph.

Gold-coloured energliph spread out with the Hidden Cloud gliph at the centre, turning it clear. The gliph took the shape of a healthy claw that looked similar to Chor Clan’s Spiral Dragon Claw gliph, just that it was gold in colour rather than the Chor Clan’s pitch black. The claw was huge and wide. Despite being short, it gave off a cold vibe that intimidated others.

“This Ferocious Tiger gliph has been passed down many generations through the Wong Clan. It’s the greatest secret and a huge pillar of our clan, so I need brother Chui to help me keep this a secret.”

“Of course,” Chui Yim nodded. “I’m a professional and will never ruin my own reputation.” He closely observed the gliph, comparing it with the high-quality gliphs he had seen before. He saw improvement in his gliphism too.

“What about gliphilities? Any favourite skills, brother Wong?” Chui Yim asked after a short while.

Wong Chow Yip nodded. He was a person who didn’t like beating around the bush, which most perceived to be the madness of the Wong Clan. He said nothing more and took out his weapon, Ceremony Mountain, before making his way to the courtyard.

Wong Chow Yip took a deep breath, his energliph soaring. It was distinctively different from Chor Clan’s Ink’s Will.

Ink’s Will was a gliphility that felt calm but had the depth of the sea. It suppressed the opponent regardless of their strength. But it was different for Wong Chow Yip, who was like a ball of burning flame instead. It was as if he was going to burn everything in the courtyard. Even Yeung Chun who was gardening couldn’t help but glance at him after feeling the wave.

Chui Yim didn’t even blink as he took in everything. Is this the famous Tiger Breath of the Wong Clan?

With the ferocious tiger’s breath as an inspiration, they created Tiger Breath, a gliphility with strong vitality that made burned energliph like blazing flames. The energliph was activated the same way as one would burn through his own vitality. This method wasn’t the most powerful combat technique, but it allowed the glipher to harness great powers in a short time.

Madness flashed past Wong Chow Yip’s eyes as he let out a growl while the staff’s tip shone brightly!

“Ascending Tiger!”

He jumped up, and the light emitted by the staff turned solid as a tiger’s form appeared. The shadow landed and smashed into the ground. The brick floor of the courtyard shattered as mud flew all around.

If I were to meet this attack, I could only run away pitifully, Chui Yim thought to himself.

Wong Chow Yip’s energliph dissipated as he no longer looked crazy. “How was it, brother Chui?”

“I have an idea. You can head back first, and I’ll give you an answer tomorrow.” Chui Yim nodded.

“Thanks for the trouble, brother Chui.” Wong Chow Yip’s eyes lit up in glee.
