“Ceremony Mountain was named for its unique shape and trait boosting abilities. Great Master Mok intended to make a grade three gliph weapon with the mountain’s spring water.

“But because of the uniqueness of the Ceremony Mountain, its spring water repels other materials. He could only make a grade one gliph weapon. Despite its grade, it’s a powerful gliph weapon that is on par with grade two gliph weapons and one of the best choices for cultivators who have just broken through their innate chamber.”

Chui Yim couldn’t help but glance at the teen who was rambling on. It was a chubby boy with thin eyes who also looked somewhat like a pervert, but he still spared him a look as he felt that the teen was someone rich in uncommon knowledge.

Most gliphers possessed a weapon suitable for themselves. For example, a one-chambered glipher wouldn’t be able to use a grade two gliph weapon to its full potential. The higher the weapon’s grade, the more energliph was required to utilise it. A powerful gliph weapon would be useless if the glipher didn’t have enough energliph to use it.

Even a great genius like Wong Chow Yip wouldn’t splurge his money on a grade two gliph weapon that he couldn’t utilise.

“Chor Kwong Laan, take out your weapon!” Wong Chow Yip struck the ground with his staff, stirring making the dust up. He used his full strength, and he looked like a madman. “I want to see what gave you the courage to challenge me to a fight!”

But Chor Kwong Laan only sneered in reply. He slapped the black jade on his waist and took out a long rod. His aura grew as his energliph burst out from his body as soon as it appeared, and even Wong Chow Yip’s face fell.

“What gliph weapon is that? It greatly boosted Chor Kwong Laan’s aura!” Everyone subconsciously turned to the chubby teen, who was similarly frowning as he pondered hard. Suddenly, they heard a person exclaim.

“I know what that is!”

Everyone present, including Kam Chin Kee and the chubby teen, looked over in unison. This person was none other than Chui Yim.

“That rod is called the New Rich Two,” he hummed.

The crowd was stunned at the name—for its boorishness, that was.

“The rod is fire-forged using the dragon drool tree as the main ingredient. Dragon drool grass is also used to carve the Attention gliph on the rod.”

“But Attention is usually tattooed on the heart chamber to increase a glipher’s focus… It’s a common gliph, but on a weapon?” The chubby teen creased his brows. However, he smacked his leg hard the next second. “I understand now! Attention was tattooed using dragon drool grass, the same ingredient used for the Spiral Dragon gliph of the Chor Clan!”

“Attention increases a glipher’s focus, but when carved into a weapon using dragon drool grass, it turns the weapon into one that only suits members of the Chor Clan! This increases the glipher’s ability greatly! Even though Chor Kwong Laan is only in the one-chambered state, the straightforward weapon matches his ferocious style perfectly. This… is a gliph weapon tailor made for Chor Kwong Laan!

Everyone around him wore a serious expression after hearing him.

“This…” Wong Chow Yip let out a yelp, while Chor Kwong Laan opposite him had an excited smile, which was rarely seen on his stoic face as he pounced towards Wong Chow Yip.

Instantly, the rod swung towards Wong Chow Yip. He could defend and counterattack at first, but in the blink of an eye, Chor Kwong Laan broke his defence and struck his back.

Chor Kwong Laan fought excitedly, beating Wong Chow Yip badly!

The hundred-gliphic state judge couldn’t bear it anymore. He waved his hands and the gliph formation around the arena released a gentle energy which separated the duo. “Victory goes to Chor Kwoong Laan.”

Wong Chow Yip ended up in a sorry state. His hair was in a mess and his cheeks were swollen, which made him resemble a pig. Nobody could tell he was Wong Chow Yip, the Wong Clan elite from afar!

“You… This is cheating! Aren’t you ashamed to find a blacksmith to customise a gliph weapon for you just to beat me? The Chor Clan is such a joke!”

Customising a weapon sounded simple when it was, in fact, the opposite. There were few blacksmiths in this world, so whenever a blacksmith reached the great master rank, they would receive superior treatment, with the price of their gliph weapons increasing with their fame and ability. Therefore, it cost a bomb to get a customised weapon.

A blacksmith must be at least a great master state to customise a gliph weapon, as only then would he possess enough skill and knowledge to do so. Moreover, each customised weapon would cost about thrice the price of a normal weapon. It would be cheaper to buy a grade two gliph weapon instead!

This is drowning your enemy in money!

Even the chubby teen was dumbfounded. Money aside, finding a blacksmith willing to take up the tough job of customising a weapon was extremely difficult. Due to the rarity of blacksmiths, every blacksmith was valued greatly.

How difficult would it be to convince a great master to customise a grade one gliph weapon for them? Most would find it a direct insult to their craft!

Chor Kwong Laan sneered, but he had a satisfied expression. After being considered Wong Chow Yip’s equal for several years, he finally overcame their perpetual draw and beat him up to his heart’s content! The thought of this made all his hatred for Chui Yim vanish. “It’s all thanks to brother Chui who made me this gliph weapon.”

His words caused the class to turn to Chui Yim, who looked at them proudly and arrogantly. He walked to Chor Kwong Laan and patted his shoulders. “We are friends, so there’s no need to be courteous even though I sold it to you for the price of a peak grade one gliph weapon. The invaluable friendship between us cannot be compared to something like money!”

“Everything’s settled, right? I’m off then.” Chui Yim gestured to his classmates in a palm-fist salute before leaving.

All the teens had complex expressions, but they kept quiet as they stared at Chui Yim from behind. Some of the gliphers were left pondering as well. He, a thirteen-year-old, was actually a great master blacksmith?

Contrary to everyone who was left with complicated feelings, Chui Yim was in a bright mood.
