4008 Challenge of Survival II

"Challenge of Survival, it's going to be interesting,' I thought as I read through the rules.

I read over and over, understanding fully, before turning to the bronze band in my hand.

This is one thing given for equality of power for all; through this, we will have equal power, but it is what gives someone more advantage, than others.

I controlled the bands and thick bronze energy came out and it moved as I willed it.

Calling it energy would be wrong. The right word would be a changing fluid. It could not only move as I willed it, but also change its state.

It could turn solid, but also thin as water.

I quickly tested its limitations. The information was a little vague; it took me three minutes to do that before I formed a thin sphere of bronze around me.

It is thin enough that I needed to use only 30% of the left band's fluid to create it.

I am doing a really good thing. I am weaving an armor around me. It is a hard task, given I barely have six more minutes before the challenge begins.

I worked fast and in four minutes. I have an armor, which I had used full fluids of the right band, but also 22.3% of the second band.

The next, I started with the weapon, and it took me fifty-three seconds to create a dueling saber.

I would have loved to get a great sword from mine, but it is not possible. So, I chose a dueling saber, spending 31% of the fluid from a left band on it.

With the last of the fluid. I had created a shield, for I had to use the sphere's fluid.

Twenty seconds before the timing ends. I finished with the shield; it is a round shield; it is not big, but not small either.

I looked at my get-up and I could see, the eyes of some people widening. They had noticed the intricate details, which I would have hidden if I had more fluid.

Some realized their mistakes, but it was too late, as only seconds remained before the challenge began.

It is why, I had covered myself with a sphere. If they had seemed, some might have been able to see the mistakes they were making and might have fixed them.

It is such a regret; I couldn't use the runes, or I would have created a terror.

Still, not all people use the fluid idiotically. Some people, even those with convectional inheritances, had used their brains in using.

I looked at a few people. Iarys, Hayat, and others, who are hosts of celestial inheritance.

Her combat skills will play a huge part and more than that brain, which already gave me an edge compared to most others.

Still, I am at a disadvantage, given how many people want to kill me this time. They have an advantage.

Those who kill me or force me to leave this challenge will get the points that I will earn in this challenge.

Lions made of crimson energy, double side of a normal person with long sharp claws, that will tear them apart.

A hundred of them came out before the doors closed and a ten-minute clock appeared over them.

Seeing that expression of many people turned bad.

This challenge is going to be short of all. Lasting for only six hours, but it is going to be the hardest of all.

One would need to be very careful. There was danger of dying here; I had already decided, that if I felt like, I might die, I would give up without a thought.

No resource is more important than life, not even the ones that can make one comprehend the law.

The lions moved, choosing their opponent, before one came toward me.

It is big with a luxurious crimson mane. Its teeth are so big, that they could easily tear open the flesh and claws, but that would not problem cutting through me.

However, I am looking at a small green round inside it.

If I am not wrong. It is core and destroying will destroy this energy lion.

Roar!

It roared as it appeared in front of me and leaped. It's fast and its claws have extended even further.

It's acting like a real lion. It wants to use its massive side and wait to make me fall down and then finish me off.

It is a good strategy, that is suited for it, but I am not going to let happen.

I have no intention of getting defeated by the first opponent, I come across in this challenge.
