4009 Beast Waves I

I watched the lion come closer to me. When it was a meter away, I jumped.

The jump was smooth and used a lot less energy. I created a compression spring system in my shoes, which was given a high jump and wasted barely any energy.

It was the best choice. It was in the early version of my armor. Though unlike it, it didn't have the runes.

It would have been amazing. If I had able to use them.

The lion tried to stop, but couldn't with its momentum, while I flipped in the air with a saber and down and let the gravity do its job.

My saber reached its head, and with sharpness, it pierced through its head, before reaching the core and cracking it.

The saber my quite sharp.

One can imagine the sharpness. One needs to understand it; I have a good understanding of it. I researched it and also studied the enchantment on my own sword.

I had given it quite a time after I wiped out the Grimms. In my native world.

The lion froze, before turning into a mote of energy, which went above me and formed a numeric one in yellow energy.

'It's not going to make it easy,' I thought.

It is a score, and since everyone could see it. It will be easier to target.

Since I plan to have the biggest score on the challenge, which would place the biggest target on my head.

I looked around and saw everyone was fighting.

Nobody had died. These are the Sky Sovereigns. If they couldn't even handle such danger with their skill.

Then they are not worthy of their level.

I wanted to fight their prey, but I controlled myself. If I am right, then there will be no dearth of targets for the score as the challenge progresses.

Instead, I focused on observing people. These people are the ones who will come after me.

We all looked at each other. Some wanted to go after others but controlled themselves and instead turned their eyes on the gates, which were currently closed.

They remained close before they began to open. Exactly one minute later, after the last lion is killed.

Roar Roar Roar.

Roars rang out, and surprise flashed on the faces of people. They hear two distinct types of roars.

One is of the lion and the other is different, but like me. Many others, guessed the animal that made that kind of roar.

Finally, the beasts came out; there were those majestic crimson lions, and beside them were regal tigers, with their yellow bodies and black strips.

They came toward us, and their numbers were higher. Double to be exact.

They moved in pairs of two, going after every person. Including the two coming in front of me.

Roar Roar!

Both of them roared and came at me.

This time, the beats didn't leap. They came to me directly; the jump could still work, but I didn't jump and instead let them come toward me.

Hun!

When they were less than a meter away from me, I moved to my left.

The tiger reacted fast and moved its head to bite me. Instead got my saber in its mouth.

Crack!

It tried to close it, but it was too late. My sword entered its mouth and pierced through, before crushing its core.

Roar!

The lion roared and leaped at me and, like before, I flawlessly executed a jump and brought my saber.

Crack.

Its core cracked and a second later, it had turned into a moat, turning the number above my head to three.

I looked around and saw Hayat had finished at the same time, it was Anna and half a second after Iarys, Asor, and two other people.

"I give up!"

The battle is a little more intense than the last time. Its why, a minute later, the man gives, up when a tiger is about to tear his throat away.

He disappeared and appeared in a watching stand among thousands of people, while the lion he was fighting had turned to the person closest to him.

Two more people give up after him before all the beasts are killed.

Once again, there was a minute of break, before the beasts released again. There are a few things I have noticed, but some I have to test.

I will do that later; it is my benefit. That maximum number of people get eliminated

The three beasts, that came in the third term are lions, tigers, and jaguars. I finished the jaguar first, before the lion and then the tiger.

I was one of the first to do it before waiting.

Roar!

It didn't take long before beasts of others attacked me. It was tighter than came, when it leaped at me, I jumped and brought saber down.

The lion that came after, took a long leap. So, I retreated and killed it as it landed.

Four more came after and I killed them too.

Killing a single beast construct was easy, the second was difficult, but it was the third, giving a challenge.

Many are giving up one after another.
