Wedding Agreement With CEO

Chapter 116 - CAUGHT IN THE ACT

"I can't believe it! You must be lying!" said Michelle still not believing what Adley said. It seemed that she had a very strong premonition of Lucas' presence in the room.

She placed a white hand bag and a food bag on Lucas' desk, not far from where she was standing.

Adley rolled his eyes in exasperation, then snorted harshly. "Well if you don't believe me. Please look for until you find him!" He firmly pretended to give up.

Not wanting to respond, Michelle walked straight to the window, where there was a curtain that stretched high and partially covered the window. She opened the curtain and suddenly made Adley burst out laughing, quite satisfied. This inevitably distracts him.

"Ha ha ha ... Michelle, Lucas is not a child, how could he hide behind those curtains." He said without stopping his laughter.

"Shut up!" said Michelle, throwing a cynical look. "I'm sure he's in this room." She added and headed for the bathroom.

Adley was surprised because he thought Lucas was hiding there. He swiftly chased Michelle so as not to open the bathroom door. It was possible that the woman would be even more suspicious, if she knew the bathroom door was locked.

"Never mind, Michelle . . . why do you distrust me so? He wasn't there!" Adley said trying to persuade Michelle. However, before he could intercept, the woman had already opened the bathroom door.

It suddenly made Adley surprised and covered his face with both hands. 'Oh shit! My life is over!' He muttered.

"Lucas, where exactly are you?"

Michelle's words instantly made Adley open his face again and his eyes wide. Unexpected. Turns out Lucas wasn't there. 'Then where did he go?' So he thought.

"You see?" asked Adley who suddenly stopped Michelle. "Do you still not believe what I said? Are you still going to say that I am lying?" sarcasm then.

This time it was Michelle's turn to snort harshly. "Then why are you acting suspiciously like that, if you're not lying? You should just act normal!" She snapped, licking her lips.

"Suspicious how, Michelle? I've been acting as usual," argued Adley disapprovingly.

"No! What I saw wasn't like that!" replied Michelle not wanting to lose.

"Well, whatever, Miss!" annoyed Adley with a short sigh.

Like Adley, Michelle seemed to sigh, annoyed that her efforts failed. She then grabbed a bag of food that had been placed on the table and gave it to Adley.

"Okay, I'll just leave this for Lucas. Tell him when I come here!" She said in a still curt tone.

Adley grabbed it from Michelle's hand with a big smile. In the end, he was still able to save his life from the plight of that annoying friend. "Okay. Thanks, Michelle." He said softly.

Michelle immediately left the room without another word, even though she refused to say goodbye. However, that does not necessarily make Adley believe it. He then followed, after Michelle closed the door. He opened the door again, just to make sure that she was really gone.

The happy grin grew again when he realized Michelle had left Lucas' room. He then closed the door again and looked for the whereabouts of his friend who had suddenly disappeared.

"Hey Big Boss, get out of here!" He shouted for Lucas.

"Oow!!"

Not long after, Adley heard a loud banging sound accompanied by someone groaning in pain. He immediately turned to the source of the voice. At the same time, Lucas appeared from under the desk while rubbing his head repeatedly.

"Ha ha ha!"

Adley's laughter broke again, even this time the man burst out laughing at his best friend's expression. He didn't think that Lucas would think of hiding under his desk.

"Damn you!" Lucas cursed looking furious, without stopping the activity of rubbing his head which still felt a little sore.

Yes, when Michelle walked into the room, Lucas was immediately aware of it. Since he had no time to find a place to hide, he was forced to crouch and hide under the table. Imagine how hard it was for him to keep himself from moving and making a sound, even holding his breath while he was down there. What poor Lucas.

"It's all because of you. If only you had managed to hold it in, it wouldn't have happened like this!" Lucas snapped, still looking furious without changing the position where he was standing.

"Come on, don't be angry like that. I've been trying to hold it in, but it turns out she's strong enough to beat. I'm getting more and more curious about her, how strong if she is invited to make love." Adley chirped, still chuckling.

The last sentence the man spoke made Lucas round. Wonder with his best friend, why only sex in his mind.

Not wanting to comment too much, Lucas only responded with an annoyed chuckle.

"She left this for you. It looks delicious. How about we eat together, think of it as a celebration of our victory today." Adley lifted the bag of food that was still hanging in his hand, said with a wide smile.

Lucas walked over to the sofa and plopped down there, with Adley following him.

Without waiting for orders, Adley immediately opened the package. There was a cake box inside. They then took a piece of chocolate brownie cake, without paying attention to the cake box.

"It's delicious." Lucas whispered after taking a bite of the cake.

"Well, that cake turned out to be delicious." Adley said.

They haven't finished one slice yet, when suddenly they heard the sound of the door knob turning. Lucas and Adle stopped chewing and looked at each other again.

"Michelle's bag." Adley whispered when he noticed Michelle's bag was still on Lucas' desk.

"Stupid!" Lucas cursed before escaping to the bathroom.

"Adley! Did you eat the cake?" shouted Michelle, which immediately caught Adley's attention. I don't know how long she's been standing there.

"Mi-Michelle, why did you come back?" nervous Adley was slightly taken aback.

Without responding, Michelle went straight to Adley. The blows landed on several parts of the man's body.

"Why did you eat that cake? I told you it was for Lucas, not for you!" Michelle growled without stopping, showering Adley with a few light punches.

"Sorry, Michelle. I just tasted a little and still left for Lucas." Adley replied, trying to block Michelle's punch with his hand.

"I'm mad at you, Adley. You're so annoying!" Regardless of Adley's moans, Michelle continued to carry out the action.

Meanwhile, Lucas who heard the commotion seemed to be giggling contentedly laughing at his best friend.. In the end, his revenge was paid off without him having to bother with revenge.
