Whatever you fancy, the price is clearly marked, fair to young and old alike. Since you are Miss Ye’s friend, we could offer you a 30% discount.”

“Do I look like someone who needs a discount?” Lin Shen pointed to a Steel Egg and said, “I’ll take that one, wrap it up for me, how much in total?”

“All right, sir, that Spiral Snail Egg at Steel Level is priced at 999, today’s special offer,” the clerk continued with a smile.

“Here’s a thousand,” Lin Shen flamboyantly placed a thousand-yuan bill on the counter, then added, “Don’t forget the change.”

“Yes, big,” the proprietress confirmed.

“Big, huh?” Amusement rippled in Lin Shen’s eyes.

“Big.” The proprietress’s eyes met Lin Shen’s, as if they shared a secret understanding, and they both burst into laughter.

“Alright, let’s go for ‘big’ then,” Lin Shen agreed, nodding.

“Definitely big, you’ll be satisfied. Forget about these, I’ll set something up for you tonight, wait for my good news,” she said with confidence.

Lin Shen left the marriage agency and wandered the nearby area. After dining with Wei Wufu, he returned to the hotel he had booked and settled in.

That evening, the proprietress sent a message, telling Lin Shen to meet someone at a tea house; she had already made the appointment and urged Lin Shen to ask no questions, promising a surprise at the meeting.

Lin Shen, accompanied by Wei Wufu, went to the tea house. Such matters were generally best handled alone, but Lin Shen felt uneasy without Wei Wufu by his side, in case the Xu Family posed an unexpected threat.

At first glance, Lin Shen thought she was exactly what he was looking for, definitely fertile, the kind who could have two babies in three years, and the kids wouldn’t go hungry.

“I guess, you must be waiting for me, right?” Lin Shen approached, picking up the agreed-upon token on the table, a blue rose, and smiled at her.

Their eyes met, and Lin Shen suddenly froze, the rose dropping from his hand to the floor automatically.

“Why is it you?” Both exclaimed at almost the same time.

The woman was none other than the love strategist Ye Yuzhen; Lin Shen almost didn’t recognize her.

Normally, this woman was always dressed in loose sportswear, who would have thought she was so impressive.
