"Who?" Isabel suddenly asked, apparently noticing Arthur.

The latter calmly replied, "Isla!"

"Isla?" The woman seemed to be trying to remember something.

"Oh the woman who hosted the school program back in the day?"

"Right!" Arthur nodded, something that made Isabel's expression strange.

"After returning from another world, you seem to be able to easily get along with every woman you interact with," she said.

Arthur just smiled, choosing not to respond.

He thought it wasn't just him. Any man who looks flashy will easily get along with many women.

"Did you also teach her magic?" Isabel asked again.

"Yeah!" Arthur didn't hide that fact.

"She's an intelligent and reliable woman, plus very decisive in her actions. I'm sure she won't disappoint in the future."

"I see!" Isabel didn't seem interested in chatting further, she continued eating while drinking her wine.

Over time, the light in her eyes became dimmer, like she wanted to fall asleep. However, it was clearly not because she wanted to fall asleep, but because her head was getting lighter, an effect of the alcohol.

When looking at her now, Arthur somehow felt somewhat wary.

Fortunately, at the same time, all the food was gone.

He immediately put down his fork and then stood up.

"Aunt, I'm leaving first," he said.

It was already too late, he still needed to calm his mind for tomorrow.

Isabel looked at him and there was a strange movement in her eyes. For a moment, they narrowed.

However, she did not make any comment.

***

Tonight, Arthur's consciousness returned to the Sky World, something that happened beyond his control.

As before, he was able to maintain his consciousness there for quite a long time by relying on his power.

It's just that there wasn't anything he wanted to do right now, so he didn't maintain his consciousness there for too long.

Tonight, time passed quietly.

Probably around 5 PM, he opened his eyes.

As smart as he was, he could feel the magic aura from Carla's room. It was quite stable, a sign that she managed to become a magus smoothly.

Arthur felt calmer because as a magus, Carla could live more safely. There were very few people who could harm her on this earth.

Perhaps now Amanda and Bella were experiencing the same thing as Carla while Isla was in the process.

Arthur couldn't know their condition, he just wished them luck.

Of course, Carla still needed time to understand her condition. Arthur chose to continue sleeping and meet her in the morning.

***

An hour later, Arthur suddenly felt something wrapped around his body. It was hard and rough, forcing him to open his eyes.

As it turned out, it was from a tree root, now wrapped around him from his head to his neck.

Right in front of him, stood Carla wearing only shorts and a tight tanktop.

Arthur showed a helpless expression. He said, "You're wrong if you think you can intimidate me just because you now have magic power."

Carla's expression didn't change because of his words, she replied, "it's time to take a shower, today we have an exam, so we have to come to school early."

"Exam?" Arthur wanted to laugh when he heard about it.

"Why, don't you take school exams seriously anymore?" the woman asked.

"Arthur, no matter what you experience in the other world, your origin is still here and inevitably you have to live life like the people in this world. Sure you can look down on them, but at least feel it so that in the future you don't regret anything." She gave advice, looking at him with rather cold eyes.

Arthur couldn't help but consider what she said, especially about regretting the past.

He thought it made sense. As long as a being has a brain and a heart, feeling regret is inevitable.

A strong heart may be able to overcome regrets, but sometimes there are also very strong regrets.

"Don't worry, I'll still take the exam," Arthur replied.

"I mean take it seriously." Carla explained again.

"I know..." Arthur of course understood.

"Now, I want to get ready, go back to your room first, and get rid of this root," he said.

"I want to take a shower here..." Carla suddenly shook her head as she waved her hand, causing the root wrapped around Arthur's body to disappear.

However, because of Carla's words, he couldn't care less about that.

It seemed that the woman had indeed come to make trouble for him.

When he wanted to say something, she suddenly added, "the faucet in my bathroom is broken and the same for the bathroom faucet below, don't think I intend to do this, I want to check the faucet in your bathroom first!"

After saying that, she went straight to the bathroom in that room.

Only moments later, her voice could be heard from there.

"It's broken here too!"

"What the hell?" Arthur didn't remember any experience like this during his stay in this house.

Although there had been no renovations for a long time, there should be no problems with the pipes.

He was a bit unsure, so he stood up to check in the bathroom.

And when he entered the bathroom, Carla who was already there suddenly pushed the door and locked it right away.

At the same time, she pulled Arthur's hand.

The latter instantly realized -- he had been tricked.

With a quick movement, he turned the faucet and found that it wasn't broken at all. The water was flowing freely.

"Was it really necessary to lie to do this?" Arthur looked at Carla, not knowing whether to laugh or cry at her behavior.

"I'll scream if you get out of here," Carla replied with slightly raised lips, acting as if she had won.

Obsession had obviously driven her to that point because she wasn't usually the type to smile like that.

"Huh!" Arthur snorted softly, choosing not to respond. He walked under the shower, turned it on and let the water wash over his body.

Since he wasn't alone, he naturally couldn't take off his clothes.

Arthur's flat response made Carla knit her brows.

"Arthur, can't you appreciate me?" she said in a somewhat annoyed tone.
