Owen ran out of the hotel and banged on Logan's door.

"Old man, come out quickly, there's a big problem," he shouted, loud enough to startle the waiters.

Luckily Logan had also just finished showering, so he was able to get out quickly.

He couldn't help but be puzzled when he saw Owen's almost distorted face.

"Owen, what happened?" Logan was panicking too. He was worried that there had been some kind of accident like their secret had been exposed.

Actually, he didn't know much about the Armstrong Family gold hidden in this city either.

Owen wanted to explain but closed his mouth again as he realized that here was not a safe place to talk. Hence, he turned around and walked towards the elevator while saying, "follow me!"

Owen's panic was something Arthur expected even though he didn't really know, but he guessed it since Rose confirmed that the bomb had exploded.

Not long after, Rose suddenly said, "there's movement from the military base. Some cars have gone north."

"I see..." Arthur did not show any expression.

He thought there was no trace of them left. The problem was that the location was indeed a place that was unattended and rarely passed by people.

The Armstrong family chose to hide their gold there in the hope of safety. However, at the same time, when the gold was stolen, finding the thief became very difficult.

The pros and cons are well balanced.

Of course, the Armstrong Family would never have thought their gold would be stolen so quickly, and even the guard disappeared somewhere.

About almost an hour later, Hunter and the others finally managed to move all the gold, resulting in a huge pile in the basement.

You can even lie down on it.

No one was not amazed by the sight. The mercenaries looked like dogs looking at a roast. If they didn't have brains, their tongues would have stuck out.

"Aunt, maybe it's time we went home," Arthur said to Isabel.

The latter nodded.

As for Nova, she finally approached the pile of gold, selecting a few that still looked very good before hurriedly following Arthur and Isabel.

Arriving at the churchyard again, Nova stuffed the gold she was carrying under the seat of her motorcycle.

After that, she continued to stare at Arthur, remembering how they made love last night.

If she said that she didn't want that anymore, she must be lying. In fact, she really wished Arthur would follow her again.

Unfortunately, the man didn't say anything.

Along the way, Arthur and Isabel only stopped to buy food. They planned to eat at home later.

Jade was still in the courtyard of my house when they returned. She seemed to have chosen to stand guard because she was worried that Owen would come back again.

Seeing Isabel and Arthur coming home, she couldn't help but wonder what they had just done at this time of night.

It was strange of course. Especially since they were wearing tight and thick clothes that were definitely not used for going to a party.

Isabel, after getting out of the car, walked over to Jade and handed her one of the bags of food.

It contained grilled meat and toast, perfect for a full stomach and a good night's sleep.

After that, Isabel immediately went into the house with Arthur.

When they arrived at the living room, they stared at the door of Carla's room, vaguely able to feel the energy flowing.

"She'll be okay, right?" Isabel asked Arthur.

Despite having experience, she couldn't be sure that it was the same with Carla. As a mother, she naturally felt worried.

"Don't worry, she won't have any problems because it's a very good potion," Arthur replied.

In the magic world, it was expensive, enjoyed only by people from noble families. Arthur himself had never tasted it when he was weak.

"I see!" Isabel finally calmed down.

"Let's eat," she said.

The two then went to the dining table. Arthur took and arranged them on the table.

Isabel, on the other hand, went to the refrigerator. And she took out a bottle of red wine.

Arthur didn't know when there was wine there.

"Aunt, you shouldn't drink wine!" Arthur couldn't help but advise her as he recalled some of the messes when the woman was drunk.

Hearing the words, Isabel only laughed.

"I'm in such a good mood right now, I think it would be more comfortable if I got a little drunk," she replied.

"And why do you mind me drinking? I'm a mature and healthy woman," she added with her eyes looking into Arthur's while her lips lifted slightly upwards.

A faint smile like that really took her beauty up a level, something that was sure to leave her admirers mesmerized.

Seeing her insist, Arthur could only say, "Drunkenness is not good for the mind. Even if you're a magus, you still need a mind to live."

"Come on, the world is still fine even if the majority of humans have been drunk." Isabel still insisted.

She opened the wine bottle and poured it into her cup.

Before sitting down, she put her hair in a ponytail and took off her leather jacket, leaving only a rather tight tanktop on her body.

It actually didn't suit her very well, but not because she looked uglier, it was because she was a bit too sexy, giving off a younger impression.

After sitting down, she immediately drank her wine.

It was clearly a very strong wine. Despite already being at the Main Stage of an Apprentice Magus using a Great Spell, her face still flushed rapidly as the wine entered her stomach.

It seemed that a warm and cold sensation flowed simultaneously throughout her body.

Arthur chose not to pay attention to her anymore. He started eating and it was quite fast.

While eating, he suddenly received a message from Isla.

She said that the items he had sent had arrived at her house.

That surprised him a little as only about 12 hours had passed since he sent it.

He then messaged her back saying to train immediately and forget about anything else because it was more important.
