Chapter 1488 Chapter 1481: Hegemon: Divine King (1)

The Elementus Domain was not excluded from the invasion. Those from the Endless Voyage Realm sought many of its external fortunes, including laying siege to Neo-Origin. Unfortunately for them, all attempts met an impregnable defense and stable retaliation led by Grand Elder Zhang Ziyi and the Nine-Divine Elemental Star Array.

Neo-Origin was the center of this hardy defense. The fluctuations of mystic power, astral force, and elemental energies were widespread within the domain, having yet to settle despite the hour of time and efforts to stabilize. Just this was a sign of how fierce the assault had been.

"Your first planet," Bai Lin reminisced emotionally. Wei Wuyin's eyes glinted with nostalgia as he recalled his Realm World Astral Tribulation and later his usage of his Worldly Domain to reform and recreate the planet Origin, renaming it Neo-Origin. It was indeed his very first planetary creation. It was even given its name by Han Yuhei, largely attributed to his growing title at that time as the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Sovereign. Now, he was the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint.

It was for this reason that he nurtured the planet, both discreetly and openly. This nurturing was largely completed by two proxies, Lin Xianxian-the nominal Sect Master of the True Element Sect, and Zhang Ziyi-the dutiful Grand Elder of the sect. They had both experienced great cultivation breakthroughs recently, with the former reaching the Demi-Mortal Lord Phase after obtaining maid status and Zhang Ziyi exceeding the 1st Runic Ascendant State, no longer classified as the lowest and weakest type of Earthly Saint.

"It has been a while since I've seen it personally," Wei Wuyin commented softly as they flew through chaos mana and wild fluctuations without any instability. The planet was much larger than before, reaching titanic-sized, and there were signs of mystic energies emanating from its planetary core, alluding to its mystic-graded state.

It has been decades since its creation yet in that short period, Neo-Origin had long since become the most central location throughout the Elementus Domain. Its luminous white seas and sky-piercing mountains that split the clouds were breathtaking to see from a distance. There were cities spanning tens of thousands of miles with skyscrapers that shone with a light of elemental origin. They capitalized on the foundational changes of the planet, including the ever-developing Elemental Origin Intent laid within its essence.

Whoosh!

Wei Wuyin didn't get far before a woman exuding a mature, motherly charm garbed in white robes with a thick sash accentuating her slender waist. While she wasn't voluptuous in body, she wasn't lacking either. Her long-lashed phoenix-like eyes laced with well-placed dark eyeliner were brightly lit as she flew over.

"Alchemic Saint Wei!" She called out excitedly and respectfully. Her aura was still fluctuating wildly, a sign that she used a considerable amount of her mystic energy and stressed her cultivation base quite a bit. However, there were no injuries on her body, and she seemed healthy and glowing.

Wei Wuyin instantly sensed that she had reached the 4th Runic Ascendant from her unstable aura. He was somewhat surprised by her rapid rate of growth, given how she was initially at the 1st Runic Ascendant State a few decades ago. It seemed the original siphoned state of the Zhang Clan and the True Element Sect's parasitic culture had severely hindered her innate talents. Without any obstacles and additional resources, the Grand Elder could finally, albeit delayed, display her exceptional cultivation talents.

"Your praise is far too much. I was simply doing what I should." She was amongst the majority who didn't know Wei Wuyin prior to his arrival to the Grand Cyclic Stellar Region, so her opinion of him had always been outlandishly high, and she possessed a type of reverence that was distant, causing her tone to be formal and respectful. This opinion of him was greatly enhanced by every feat after.

At this point, Wei Wuyin was now like a divinity in her eyes and heart. A simple two-worded praise was enough to cause her heart to pound fiercely and her soul to sublimate with incomparable excitement. She began to rapidly recount a few details about Neo-Origin, including reporting how much damage the planet sustained and its nearby areas.

Wei Wuyin wasn't too focused on anything not pertaining to Neo-Origin, but since they were flying, he listened with a nod here and there.

Eventually, she said something that prodded Wei Wuyin's ears. "Sect Master Lin has been alerted regarding the issues. I'll deliver authority to handle everything after her return."

"Return? I see." He didn't need to ask Zhang Ziyi for further details. Lin Xianxian should be cultivating with Lin Xianxei, so her being alerted and not responding immediately meant she was taken as well. Since her life talisman was still intact, she was unharmed. That's all that mattered.

The Paramount Jade Realm was the first secret realm of the Jade Element Sect of yesteryear. It was steeped deep in legacy and held its core legacy. Unlike decades before, where the usage of the Paramount Jade, Ultimate Elementus Array had depleted its brilliance, Zhang Ziyi didn't have to resort to such a final trump card, relying solely on the empowered Nine-Divine Elementus Star Array.

It was now glistening with radiance, beauty, vitality, and life after being nurtured for the past few decades. It was a sign of the rejuvenated state of the True Element Sect. While it was a graveyard that carried exquisite legacies, the aura of it was not one of desolation, but of hope for the future.

It wasn't a large realm, only spanning roughly ten thousand miles in a circular shape. It was littered with palaces acting as gravestones containing legacy formations of fallen experts of the past, meant to be reserved for future generations.

There were small palaces, large palaces, opulently designed palaces, simplistic palaces, some that levitated off the ground, others that were entrenched halfway, and even some encapsulated by a half-dome. At the entrance of each palace was a signboard with a statue. The statues were extremely well-crafted, shaped in the exact image of the legacy's origins.

These palaces might contain certain trials or certain tests that led to unique cultivation methods, spells, arts, cultivation experiences, armaments, or cultivation environments that defined them. The signboards above the palaces were all beautifully written, detailing the achievements, cultivation base, and status of the figure that left the palace behind.

Wei Wuyin arrived on Bai Lin's back on a cleanly paved road, appearing as if from thin air, with Zhang Ziyi floating beside him. She didn't dare ride on Bai Lin, but considering Bai Lin was twenty-two meters in height, it would be slightly awkward if she walked on the paved roads in the Paramount Jade Realm while trying to speak.

Zhang Ziyi couldn't help but recall the last time she was here with Wei Wuyin. She had met Lin Xianxei and Lin Ming trying to sneak in. She had shown appropriate deference to Wei Wuyin's opinions here, decidedly pardoning the crime without further issue, and by doing so, it was the beginning of her change of fate.

The memory brought her thoughts of the wild rumors of Lin Xianxei's engaged status with Wei Wuyin. It was such a momentous rumor that the Lin Clan's fate was elevated simply by that. Now, Lin Xianxian was Wei Wuyin's beloved maid. That had a far greater impact than the rumors.

"Come here," Wei Wuyin said as a Void Portal appeared above the trio, conjured by his Draconic Void Starforce. Strangely enough, the Law of Time and Space, either together or separate, weren't able to conjure Void Portals, only amplify its range, stability, or other features. This furthered his belief that the Void Dao was far more intricate than space and time.

Zhang Ziyi's eyebrows lifted.

Roar!

A draconic roar could be heard from the portal. An azure-scaled claw stretched out, considerably large. It resembled a mountain and was forcefully enlarging the Void Portal.

"Shrink," Wei Wuyin ordered.

The claw began to rapidly shrink. Then, a one-horned, azure-scaled dragon flew forward. It exuded a magnificent dragon aura that caused Zhang Ziyi's heart to shiver.

Anu!He was human-sized as he flew forward, landing with a heavy thud. "Is it time?" There was boisterous excitement within his voice with gnarly rancor of thinly-veiled anger. Normally, the Azure-Scaled Horned-Firmament Dragon would fawn over Bai Lin, but its mind was occupied with other thoughts.

Wei Wuyin nodded slightly.

"Han Xei is here." After verifying that, Wei Wuyin's gaze shone with spiritual light, piercing through the veil of space, arriving at two battling figures.

Wei Wuyin's eyes glinted with a sinister light as his bloodline stirred on an intrinsically instinctive level, remembering the hellishly despondent wails and painful screams within the Four Extreme Continent of the Devil War Realm. Anu's eyes were far more vicious looking, snarling with bared teeth in his human-sized form, looking in the same direction as Wei Wuyin.
