Man Yee Ho cleaned the table of the Wandering Son’s Lake residence diligently, whilst Yeung Tin Hun watered the flowers… sorrowfully.

After Chui Yim accepted Yeung Chun’s strong suggestion of giving the Northern teenagers accommodations, Yeung Tin Hun became a gardener who was tasked with taking care of the gliphic plants in the garden while Man Yee Ho became a servant to assist Yeung Chun.

The drastic change in identity was almost insignificant to Man Yee Ho. He, who kept a deadpan face twenty-four seven and rarely showed emotions, was an honest teenager in reality. Man Yee Ho felt more at ease working for Chui Yim, who provided him with accommodation and food, rather than freeloading.

However, Yeung Tin Hun was a carefree eagle that soared high in the skies. How could a young master of one of the world’s largest organizations who led a pampered life willingly work as a gardener? He only accepted his fate and suppressed his urge to kill that baldy after Yeung Chun’s repeated persuasion.

Just as Yeung Tin Hun was watering the flowers in boredom while Man Yee Ho cleaned the table tirelessly, two azure birds flew into the residence and landed on the duo.

This left Chui Yim and Kam Chin Kee stunned.

Third: Man Yee Ho – Unpredictable expertise in gliphism, the most powerful descendant of Imperial Sunset Palace after Man Chin Hung.

Everyone who received the news was left in disbelief when they read about Cloud Palace’s remark for Man Yee Ho. Man Yee Ho was only thirteen, yet Cloud Palace considered him to be unpredictable? How powerful must this teen be to receive such a comment?

But there was always another heaven beyond the first.

Second: Yeung Tin Hun – ever-changing spearmanship. His understanding towards spearmanship is one of the best even in comparison to historical figures recorded.

It was ridiculous, but in a good way. The most common remarks were those given to Siu Suet and the rest, pointing out their advantages and touching on their shortcomings at the same time. Remarks obviously praising the teen for their potential given to Man Yee Ho, Yeung Tin Hun, and Kam Chin Kee were rare.

“So you’re Man Yee Ho, Imperial Sunset Palace Empress’s direct disciple?” Kam Chin Kee surrounded Man Yee Ho in great curiosity. However, Man Yee Ho only nodded expressionlessly like a slightly autistic teen.

“Is it true that you could draw gliphs with all of your fingers before breaking through your innate chamber?”

Man Yee Ho nodded, replying to all questions silently yet honestly.

Filled with excitement, Kam Chin Kee invited Man Yee Ho for a spar, as if the teen was not ranked third on the Blue Skies Rank. “Do you want to have a spar?”

Man Yee Ho nodded after a short pause. With that, he successfully escaped being a servant and went with Kam Chin Kee to discuss gliphism.

On the other hand, Yeung Tin Hun was staring at Chui Yim proudly with hints of expectations. As a Northerner, Yeung Tin Hun always viewed this ranking with disdain, but he felt that it came at the perfect timing as now the vain Chui Yim would learn that he was the extraordinary young master of Four Season Mountain! The thought of Chui Yim begging to learn from him sincerely while trembling in fear had Yeung Tin Hun grinning like a Cheshire cat, his red belt dancing in the air with him happily.

“What are you grinning for?” It was unknown when Chui Yim came to him with a glare. “You look like an idiot. Water the plants that cost even more than your life well, or else…”

With that, Chui Yim left triumphantly while Yeung Tin Hun was left with his great uncle pulling him back from stabbing Chui Yim to death with his silver spear…

Moving on to the outer sect’s Northern talents: Far away from their hometown, they were accompanied by members of their organisations to protect them, like Yim Ying Yuet, Tok Muk Fung, and so on. All the Northerners rented and stayed in the same huge apartment located on Vermilion Bird Avenue.

Currently, there was a commotion in the residence’s courtyard. The azure birds that arrived one by one excited all of them.

Suet Sing Fuk was ranked fourteenth. Despite being underestimated during the inter-school exchange, he and Fok Fung’s battle attracted the attention of many. In fact, Suet Sing Fuk was the young master of a huge Northern tribe – the Snowfall Tribe. He cultivated the grade four Absolute Cold style and had created his personal gliph, Swallow Snowstorm, but unlike Mung Si’s, Swallow Snowstorm was a violent attack with the force of a blizzard.

During his battle with Fok Fung, countless swallows made of gliph strings fiercely went for Fok Fung like a snowstorm. However, Fok Fung had the special body form, Sword Tomb, that was ranked first on the Earth Rank, which resulted in him being surrounded with sword energy. Sword Tomb was similar to the Hundred Streams body, but different; the latter had the ability to resonate with heaven and earth energy, thus the cultivator with the Hundred Streams body would enjoy stronger and better functions like being able to naturally exert energliph aura, boost their attack power, and nurturing their body, whereas Sword Tomb was more about pure attacks, terrifying sword energy, and maintaining sharp attacks at all times. The Hundred Streams body was also clearly superior to the Sword Tomb body.

Both body forms could counter Suet Sing Fuk’s personal gliph, which relied on a large number of attacks to a certain extent, but Suet Sing Fuk’s powerful attack still forced Fok Fung to pull out his sword and use the Stance gliphility to defeat his huge swarm of swallows and send Suet Sing Fuk out of the tower.

Suet Sing Fuk might have lost, but results were not the only thing Cloud Palace took into consideration; they weren’t so superficial. Cloud Palace saw and acknowledged Suet Sing Fuk’s talent, especially the fact that he had yet to break through his innate chamber. He would definitely see a leap in his ability when that happened. It would be naive for one to determine these talented teens’ true ability based on their rankings.

Not just him, but other teenagers like Tsui Sin, Sun Liu, Wai-Chi Chun, and Yuen Yau from Apex Temple were ranked.

However, most in the courtyard were staring at a room with complicated looks. Some were green with envy, while some had admiration oozing out of their eyes, and some were fearful or filled with respect.

As if feeling the gazes, the door of the room creaked open to reveal a girl in a white robe. Her caramel skin dazzled under the sun so brightly that it was hard to look at her. With her hands behind her, she looked around calmly.

The girl wasn’t being arrogant, yet she gave off vibes of being too high for anyone to reach!

First: Mung Si – Extremely stable basics and talent but still staying true to herself. Will definitely become a thousand-gliphic gliphist if she lives on!

Will definitely become a thousand-gliphic gliphist! She’s graded so highly!

Putting aside the future, even now, Mung Si was the strongest amongst her generation.

The Northerners viewed the Blue Skies Rank in disdain, yet they had to take it seriously. The Southerners weren’t unlike the Northerners, they made it obvious that they valued the ranking. With that, Lam Chun called for a meeting with the leaders of all organisations and clans to discuss this slightly embarassing matter.

Despite Southern teenagers taking up most of the rank – from fourth to thirteenth were all Southerners – it also revealed the cruel truth and difference between the North and the South. The South had many cultivators, but not many at the apex.

Because of the Northern “survival of the fittest” culture, many young talents died early, but those that survived were definitely greater and stronger than Southern cultivators.

Now, the top three of the Blue Skies Rank were all Northerners.
