A booming voice echoed in Chui Yim’s mind, snippets playing endlessly.
Firstly, Chui Yim felt a surge of indignation.
“I, Wong Ba, am incredibly talented. So why am I destined to spend the rest of my life as an ordinary cultivator!?”
“Say no more, my master. As a disciple of the Metallic Blood War Gate, I would never become a gliphist even if death comes for me!”
“Hahaha, this weakling is what Northerners perceive as a talent?”
“I hate the damned heavens!”
“If I could reverse my, Wong Ba’s, fate, I would definitely reach the six-chambered state!”
“Injustice!”
“Injustice!”
“Injustice!”Within no time, Chui Yim’s head was spinning all over the place! It was unimaginable that a legacy could be this formidable.
But Chui Yim was extraordinary too, and his glass-like flame heart pounded violently the instant it sensed danger in his consciousness. The pounding in his blood vessels reached his mind and averted the danger.
The dizziness passed slowly, and Chui Yim calmed down enough to watch the blurry fragments of memories playing in his mind.
Chui Yim saw a middle-aged man who seemed to be aloof yet extremely overbearing, as if the world’s dominator, shaking the earth with every movement and carrying the world on his shoulders. Such almighty momentum left Chui Yim stunned, staring at the figure in front of him blankly.
“The child acknowledged by my legacy, promise me that, with this legacy, you’ll reach the top of the world, and prove me, Wong Ba, right!” A manly sound, like a lion’s roar, resounded inside Chui Yim’s mind.
Boom! The next second, the figure jumped violently, crushing the memory fragment beneath his feet before entering Chui Yim’s body with force.
“Chui Yim, acknowledged by Wong Ba’s legacy – True Domineer.”
Somewhere in the Giant Metallic Blood Tower sat Lung Wai Yuet. She seemed calm, but in reality, she was taking note of every single movement in the Blood Library.
Despite feeling slight unwillingness watching countless talented teenagers, including some from the North, taking home legacies from the Blood Library, Lung Wai Yuet remained silent about it.
For about a thousand years, the necrocultivators kept themselves hidden from the world and only returned recently with a sudden attack. Adding on to the unusual rise of talented cultivators, it seemed this was a generation meant to bloom.
As a five-chambered cultivator, Lung Wai Yuet could predict the future to an extent.
Therefore, Lung Wai Yuet firmly decided to bet on this generation.
She was surprised to hear Lam Zaa getting the Divine Wave Palm’s acknowledge, a mystical legacy from her master’s time. Back in the past, a mysterious elite came to the Metallic Blood War Gate, requesting to leave his legacy at the institution. The mysterious cultivator also fought Lung Wai Yuet’s master and ended with a tie. This shook the world upside down since, at that point in time, Lung Wai Yuet’s master was at the peak of the five-chambered state.
However, even at the end, the person did not reveal his identity and disappeared from the world afterwards. Lung Wai Yuet’s master could not find even a single trace of the mysterious cultivator despite all efforts. After many centuries, Lam Zaa finally took this legacy away. Lung Wai Yuet gasped. Indeed the one that has inherited his clan’s Hundred Streams Body…
Even so, Lung Wai Yuet did not have any intention to take Lam Zaa as her disciple because the teenage boy wasn’t suited for the Metallic Blood War Gate’s teaching style.
But very soon, she felt another energy movement.
“Chui Yim, acknowledged by Wong Ba’s legacy – True Domineer.”
Lung Wai Yuet, whose sense of calm was well anchored, was so mind-blown that she froze. In the blink of an eye, she vanished as a trace of blood shadow.
“Chui Yim, approved by Wong Ba’s legacy – True Domineer.”
The announcement bombarded across the entire Blood Library as a terrifying pressure covered level one of the library like doomsday!
Plop plop plop…
The violent movement threw numerous scrolls off the shelves, and many teenagers who had yet to break through their innate chamber knelt down with painful cries!
“What’s going on?” Lam Zaa frowned and activated the energy from his Hundreds Streams Body, protecting himself and Yam Chui Ying from the impact.
Elsewhere, a phoenix cry was heard as all pressure coming down on Mung Si was set on fire and burnt into ashes. Confused, she turned towards a direction. “Chui Yim, are you there?”
The entire Blood Library became a mess within no time! Even Lo Sing Yi jumped out of his seat. “What’s happening!?”
Lo Sing Yi looked like an insignificant character, but in fact, he was the current librarian of the Blood Library, one of the most important landmarks of the Metallic Blood War Gate. This proved that he wasn’t given the role because he was banished, but because of how important Lo Sing Yi was.
After communicating with the gliph formation in the Blood Library, he received a feeling of extreme indignation at how unjust the heavens were.
Lo Sing Yi was in disbelief. What happened that I’m affected even with my high cultivation state?
At the same time, Kam Chin Kee was deeply worried for Chui Yim when a beautiful figure appeared from thin air in front of the duo.
All the stunning woman in red did was wave her milky white hands in the air for the indignation aura Kam Chin Kee and Chui Yim felt to disappear. It was as if she caught it in her hands and crushed it.
Holding in his surprise, Kam Chin Kee bowed. “Greetings, Tower Master Lung.”
Of course, which cultivator could be this powerful and gorgeous other than Lung Wai Yuet?
She gave Kam Chin Kee a nod. “You have a great friend.”
Her words bore the same meaning as Lam Chun’s; both of them knew that Kam Chin Kee was one of the best cultivators amongst his generation and had tons of tricks up his sleeves, but he was only on par with Lee Bak. They believed the main reason behind his victory for the group competition was Chui Yim.
But out of her expectations, Kam Chin Kee replied with a wide smile, “Of course.”
Startled, Lung Wai Yuet said no more and watched Chui Yim accept the legacy silently.
Chui Yim felt massive information from a grade one legacy entering his mind.
Yes, this was merely a grade one legacy.
However, this grade one gliphility gifted Chui Yim with knowledge greater than all the high grade gliphs from Chui Tin or the grade four Bloody War Strike.
“The True Domineer ambushes from all sides.
“The True Domineer laments the injustice of the heavens.
“The True Domineer is invincible.
“Turn the enemy’s energy into your own, seize heaven and earth, alter yin and yang.
“Is this perhaps heaven’s punishment for Wong Ba?”
The monologue ended with a sigh.
The man’s hatred turned into acceptance of how unfair destiny was, helpless to change anything.
The emotions were so powerful that Chui Yim subconsciously felt and understood the strong helplessness of the man.
But Chui Yim immediately looked away from the memory fragment and returned to his consciousness to find a gorgeous, young-looking Lung Wai Yuet and Kam Chin Kee with odd expressions in front of him.
“Come with me,” Lung Wai Yuet said. She randomly grabbed the air, and the blood-coloured light that was used in the group competition covered the duo. Within no time, the three of them were nowhere to be seen.
