Chui Yim and Kam Chin Kee similarly got ready to head off. However, they were called aside by Lee Bak.

Seeing this, Chor Kwong Laan, Wong Chow Yip, and others who usually moved with them went ahead silently, leaving the duo and Lee Bak in privacy. Lam Zaa similarly took a long glance at them before heading off to search for his chance.

After all, the Metallic Blood War Gate was the best collection of gliphilities in the entire South even in comparison to the Evergreen Palace’s Sacred Scripture Pavilion.

“Hehe, Brother Chui, my master asked me to have a talk with you.” Now that all other disciples had left, Lee Bak discarded his serious front and spoke casually.

As he spoke, he patted the red jade badge on his waist with a small gliph pattern of a tower – the symbol of the Metallic Blood War Gate. A palm-sized jade box appeared in his hand.

“Master knows that Brother Chui worked hard creating this shield for me. Please happily accept this gift of meeting.”

Chui Yim looked at him expressionlessly. He accepted all gifts, but that didn’t mean he was a greedy person. “We had a deal, and gifts weren’t included in the deal, so I’ll not accept it.”

“Brother Chui,” Lee Bak immediately said, “This is a gift from my master, a gift from a senior to a junior. Moreover, with Brother Chui’s superb forging skills, our institution might want to work with Brother Chui long-term.

“However, things would be different if Brother Chui was one of us…” Lee Bak raised an eyebrow, while Kam Chin Kee laughed secretly on the side. I see that they are unable to resist temptation too.

Suen San Kuk suddenly understood the situation and looked up in disbelief.

“Master has said that, as long as Brother Chui agrees, Master will make an exception and take you in as the fourth direct disciple. Master will also teach you everything she knows,” Lee Bak whispered.

Thunderstruck, Suen San Kuk stood rooted to the ground. It was breaking news every time a world elite cultivator took a new disciple, just take Lee Bak for example. Or look at Man Yee Ho, the direct disciple of Imperial Sunset Palace’s Empress Man Chin Hung. Nobody even knew of his appearance, but he still shook the entire world and was rumoured to be the next imperial emperor.

The same was true for Four Season Mountain. Their sect leader’s double-innate-chambered son, Yeung Tin Hun, captured the attention of the world. Kong Yau, Lee Bak, and the rest received the same treatment. Anyone who was taken in by an elite as a direct disciple was a level above the rest.

Even Suen San Kuk was no longer an ordinary teenage boy after becoming Sze Fung’s disciple, but he was still far away compared to Lee Bak, and he still had to depend on his hard work for success.

“Well, Cloud Palace is my goal, though.” Chui Yim rolled his eyes and took the gift.

“It doesn’t hurt to have an extra choice.” Lee Bak laughed.

This was what Mute and Lung Wai Yuet both thought. It was an undeniable and unchangeable fact that teenagers were stubborn, and they could only leave it to fate to recruit Chui Yim.

This was applicable to Cloud Palace’s enrollment too. Lung Wai Yuet, Yeung Ha, and others part of the elite were extremely talented, yet none of them were one of the seven Cloud Palace disciples. Thus, they believed that the chances of Chui Yim becoming one successfully was quite unlikely, adding to the fact that he was born in a generation of talents.

Therefore, they were waiting to become his second choice and recruit him when he failed the enrollment. Chui Yim took the jade box and randomly kept it in the Divine Bracelet of Five Elements.

“I’ll take my leave first. I wish Brother Chui and Brother Kam good luck in finding a suitable gliphility.” Lee Bak flashed him a gentle smile. With that, Lee Bak left with a stunned Suen San Kuk.

Kam Chin Kee followed Chui Yim around the place aimlessly, unlike his fellow friend, he was already equipped with sufficient battle skills.

Similarly reincarnated, Chui Yim had not brought battle skills with him from his past life so that was what he lacked most, while Kam Chin Kee came fully equipped with mechanism and assassination skills. The Ever-Changing Formless Skill that helped Kam Chin Kee draw gliphs even before he broke through was already the most suitable for him. There were no other cultivation styles or gliphilities he needed.

Thus, when Kam Chin Kee entered, he took it as a chance to tour the place and accompany Chui Yim to look for a suitable gliphility.

Chui Yim walked around excitedly for a gliphility that was suitable for him. He didn’t need to cultivate any more styles since he already had the Nine Levels of Heaven’s Flame, but he needed plenty of skills.

He had great expectations towards the Blood Library. Like what Kam Chin Kee thought, Chui Yim lacked combat skills currently. He was skilled in the fundamentals of gliphism, but the only thing he had was his tough body. He had no skills to make use of to defend himself or take down his enemies!

His fascinating combat with Lam Zaa’s Hundred Streams Body would definitely have ended with a loss if Lam Zaa wasn’t so stubborn about going straight on against Chui Yim and decided to use his gliphism techniques.

Not only Chui Yim, it was obvious to many others.

This was the reason Wai-Chi Chun lost to Chui Yim. He took the other party too lightly and nearly paid the price with his life. Eliminated with a badly broken neck, the Metallic Blood War Gate saved him with precious gliph elixirs, but his nose was still slightly crooked.

Because of this, he always glared at Chui Yim with a murderous look.

This was applicable to Ching Lang Pak as well, the one who chose to give up on the familiar combat skills of his clan and go heads-on with Chui Yim.

Well, they couldn’t be blamed for not knowing how beast-like Chui Yim’s body was. If they were to have a rematch with this knowledge, Chui Yim would no doubt lose badly.

Because of this, Chui Yim had to increase his combat skills. He had to search for a suitable gliphility since he couldn’t currently perform the Bloody War Strike.

This place is way better than that worn-out library of Riding Clouds Academy! Every single gliphility here was well-selected even if it’s just a grade one. They are of top-notch quality compared to gliphilities that I could get outside. And the mysterious legacies are priceless!

Suddenly, a strong movement was felt from the building.

“Eh?”

The teenagers turned towards the commotion. Today was reserved for the outer sect disciples’ selection, thus there were no people other than the outer sect disciples, Lee Bak, and Suen San Kuk present in the place

In front of a book rack stood a buff figure.

The person held a dark red scroll that lit up oddly, wrapping him in light. A fierce aura was felt all across the library and a voice rang out in the minds of all teenagers.

“Sun Liu has successfully acquired Chor Ching San’s legacy – Heaven Tearing Claw.”
