The strenuous combat ended with Fok Fung being gravely injured and eliminated while Lee Bak remained.

However, Lee Bak didn’t even have the time to catch his breath before he felt a surge of frightening energliph from somewhere nearby. What type of energliph is that exactly!?

Turning around, Lee Bak was unpleasantly greeted by ocean blue energliph surging towards Sung Hau like a giant wave!

He watched Sung Hau frown with worry before yelling, “Thunderstorm Sword Formation!”

Bzzt! The swords in Sung Hau’s hands lit up with electricity as he played with the swords, leaving traces of electricity in the air… or was it a mystical gliph?

Facing him, Lam Zaa spoke coldly, “Just like a mantis trying to stop a chariot.”

Boom! The gliph shattered and Sung Hau was instantly wrapped in blood-coloured light and sent out of the tower!

However, the giant, destructive wave was not depleted and continued forth violently. Siu Suet’s eyes were filled with anxiety at this scene. It seems like Lam Zaa is getting impatient. With her knowledge, she guessed that Lam Zaa had activated the energliph obtained through his Hundred Streams Body resonating with heaven and earth for this gliphility! This attack was already beyond a one-chambered cultivator’s ability, impossible to tackle even for a two-chambered state.

“I give up!” Siu Suet shouted decisively, and blood-coloured light brought her out of this dangerous situation.

Ha Yu Bing playfully battling Chui Yim was left dumbfounded, and the next second she was covered with blood-coloured light as the Metallic Blood Giant Tower determined her to be incapable of taking Lam Zaa’s attack after all she had been through. She was almost depleted of energliph from the long contest, and she was suffering from non-trivial internal injuries after Lam Zaa nearly destroyed her personal gliph when they fought. Thus, she was eliminated as well.

“What the hell is going on!?” Long burning hair grew out of Chui Yim’s head at once!

Boom! The giant wave smashed into Chui Yim and disappeared into the air.

Lee Bak was similarly injured facing this powerful attack. After the intense fight with Fok Fung, he was in a bad state.

He fiddled with the small shield on his left hand, which enlarged into an actual

shield. The Matchless Guardian Chui Yim made came with two modes – normal and focus. When making use of the focus mode, the effects of the main gliph increased, but the shield area was smaller.

Now that he was facing such a huge wave, Lee Bak needed something to block his entire body.

He hid behind the enlarged shield shone in five colours.

Lam Zaa panted softly. His attack that made use of the energliph from the heaven and earth resonance had an impact equivalent to a peak two-chambered glipher’s attack. However, this meant that the energliph area by Hundred Streams Body had decreased greatly.

In return, this terrifying attack eliminated three opponents at once.

This contest was such a feast for the audience’s eyes. All participants that made it to the eighth floor were highly capable. Even the mysterious Chui Yim was secretly a human war machine! Other capable participants like Suet Sing Fuk, Duen Por Do, and many other dark horses were just unlucky to be eliminated too early.

With Siu Suet and Ha Yu Bing going against Lam Zaa whilst Fok Fung faced Lee Bak, so much unfolded within such a short time that the audience couldn’t keep up with the contest!

When they finally caught up, Lee Bak had already eliminated Fok Fung with his odd shield’s reflection, but the audience’s gasps had not yet escaped their throats before Lam Zaa launched an attack out of nowhere and eliminated Siu Suet, Ha Yu Bing, and Sung Hau in an instant!

The twists and turns happened in such a short time that the audience found it hard to digest the situation.

Lee Bak stood up in a sorry state with his left arm numb and sore.

The Matchless Guardian successfully took the attack, but Lee Bak’s left arm was so sore that it hurt. Thus, he was weirded out to see Chui Yim survive the attack as he clearly knew that Lam Zaa’s attack would have eliminated him if he weren’t equipped with Matchless Guardian. Yet Chui Yim withstood this attack with his bare body and was still jumping around all fine….

Before Lee Bak could say anything, there was a drastic change.

Boom boom boom boom! Loud sounds resembling footsteps could be heard, but they seemed rather dense.

Whoosh! A huge figure passed through the blood fog and revealed its identity as a blood spectre, just as the teens were expecting. However, this grade two blood spectre was moving backwards in a pitiful state.

In front of it was a blue wolf with a monster-like face. Every time it collided with the blood spectre, the spectre moved back a few steps pitifully.

“Kam Chin Kee!”

And just as they expected, Kam Chin Kee walked out of the blood fog and was stunned to see Chui Yim and Lee Bak.

Swoosh swoosh swoosh… A graceful fairy dazzling with light yellow starlight fluttered through the air, chasing after a lean girl with burning wings on her ankles. The latter zoomed across the foggy space, dodging a small beam of light that landed on the blood fog instead.

“Haha, Elder Sister is pretty fast.” Kong Yau looked down at the girl who was running below her,

The Cloud Palace outer sect’s white robe wasn’t the most flattering outfit, but she had such a great figure that the robe could not hide her slender waist and her strong, muscular legs that were revealed as she ran.

to the Heavenly Phoenix Pinion gliph, Kong Yau was unable to hit Mung Si despite her continuous attacks, Still, the fast attacks left Mung Si with no time to draw gliphs and counterattack.

A galaxy made up of eight stars floated behind Kong Yau. This was her personal gliph, Celestial Starmap! The eight stars absorbed the energliph that Kong Yau gained from communicating with heaven and earth and emitted energliph beams ceaselessly. The light beams seemed harmless because of the Stars Unite cultivation style, but they were actually quite destructive.

As Kong Yau improved, the Celestial Starmap gliph would increase in capability and the number of stars would increase. The image of countless stars emitting light beams was horrifying.

Kong Yau stared at Mung Si, trying to find devastation or fatigue from her face. However, Mung Si remained calm as ever despite several close calls with the beams.

“Struggling on your deathbed.” Kong Yau sneered. With that, she secretly activated her energliph and built a gliph in the air. Mung Si felt it in an instant.

Whoosh… The energliph solidified and Kong Yau opened her fingers before clenching her fist tightly! “Die!”

Invisible chains formed around Mung Si! This is…

At the same time, as if sensing something, the starlight took a turn like they had their eyes opened and chased after Mung Si!

“Star Lock!”

This was the gliph that Cheuk Kwun pointed out was only useful for gliphists whose cultivation style made use of starlight energy. After getting familiar with it over the night, Kong Yau was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was even stronger than she first imagined, and it even complemented her personal gliph!

Opponents marked by Star Lock also turned into a beacon for the Celestial Starmap beams to go after! Now, all eight light beams had found a shared target, which was none other than Mung Si!

It left her with no way out! Kong Yau wore a coquettish smile as she thought that now she would be the best female gliphist of her generation. This was the first step, and the second step would be to gain the interest of Cloud Palace, reject them, and then become the best gliphist of her generation!
