“Greetings, Great Master Chui,” Siu Suet greeted with respect. She was similarly startled by Chui Yim’s appearance.

After receiving the tailor-made weapon from Chui Yim, Siu Suet saw a leap in her ability. After studying the speed-increasing gliph carved in the weapon, she also comprehended the ability to collide arrows, which led to the idea for her new gliphility, Snow Storm! Because of this, Siu Suet viewed Chui Yim, whom she clearly knew she would have to go to for gliph weapons in the future, with reverence.

“How’s the bow? Good?” Recognizing Siu Suet, Chui Yim was all smiles.

“Siu Suet was able to make it to the eighth floor thanks to the great master’s creation.” Siu Suet nodded immediately.

This conversation was enjoyable for Chui Yim as it reminded him of his time as the best blacksmith on the Sallow Continent. “You have to thank your ability too. Gliph weapons are powerful, but the basis of your strength is still your own cultivation and talent,” Chui Yim said with the intent of a teacher.

In the past, Siu Suet would have sneered at Chui Yim’s words, but after experiencing Chui Yim’s forging skill, his words served as a wake up call to her. She would not have created the Snow Storm gliphility if not for the bow Chui Yim created.

This showed that Siu Suet’s capability was closely related to the gliph weapon, and if any mishap befell her weapon, her combat ability would largely decrease! She might even be in shambles!

The thought of this gave Siu Suet goosebumps. “Great Master is right, Siu Suet understands your teachings.”

Ha Yu Bing’s annoyance increased as she watched the duo, but she pretended to be indifferent. Watching how happy Chui Yim was chatting with her senior sister and treating her like she was invisible, Ha Yu Bing could not contain her anger anymore and yelled, “Hey!”

“She’s…?” Hearing her, Chui Yim was shocked and turned to Siu Suet immediately, questioning.

Ha Yu Bing was furious! The bald head whom she couldn’t get out of her mind turned out to have forgotten her? Ha Yu Bing’s bad temper was clearly shown now. “You… damn you! You’re pissing me off!” With that, she launched her Freezing Frost Blade at Chui Yim!

“Why are you attacking me!?” Jumping to dodge the attack, Chui Yim was shocked and similarly angry.

Realizing that Chui Yim really couldn’t recognize her, crossed and upset, she attacked again! “Why can’t I? This is a competition, and we are free to act as we wish!”

“What an unreasonable girl!” Chui Yim slapped the gliph flying towards him into ashes with his bare hands! This scene left Siu Suet resting at the side in utter disbelief.

Did he just destroy the gliph with his… bare hand?

As Chui Yim and Ha Yu Bing started fighting over minor matters, Sung Hau was in trouble.

Sung Hau was Sze Fung’s first direct disciple. He was an orphan who Sze Fung came across while globetrotting and was brought back to the Metallic Blood War Gate to be a cultivator. This boy never had friends nor much worldly experience, thus he was naive and still childish despite already reaching his teens.

When Lung Wai Yuet’s youngest disciple, Lee Bak, ended his seclusion, Sze Fung placed Sung Hau under the care of his “uncle,” who was responsible in helping improve Sung Hau’s emotional intelligence rather than his combat capability.

Sung Hau might not have been very wise, but he was a talent with double innate chambers and broke through his first innate chamber at the age of ten. He did not disappoint his master and astonished the whole institution by being acknowledged by the Thunderclap Sword, a confidential skill set that was kept locked up in the Blood Library for a long time.

The Thunderclap Sword was created by a first generation Metallic Blood War Gate elder who was inspired by lightning storms. He created a confidential series out of it that included gliphilities, skills, as well as a cultivation style. But ever since the series was created, Sung Hau was the first person to be acknowledged by it.

Wielding two swords, Sung Hau fought fiercely. One of his hands moved at lightning speed while the other moved more steadily. Under his perfect coordination, it was as if Lam Zaa was fighting two different cultivators simultaneously, and even with the Hundred Streams body, he needed some time to take down Sung Hau.

Indeed, no matter what, the Hundred Streams body was ranked third on the Heaven Rank, and facing heaven’s favourite, even Sung Hau was badly defeated.

“This is bullying! Intolerable! So unfair!” Sung Hau cried as he escaped with all his might. He didn’t even have a chance to counterattack given the huge area the Hundred Streams body covered! On the other hand, Lam Zaa was getting increasingly annoyed by the sight of Sung Hau jumping around.

Taking a deep breath, the energliph surrounding Lam Zaa rose sharply. Chills ran down Sung Hau’s spine instantly, and he felt like a man-eating monster was staring at him!

Fok Fung’s pupils shrunk. He was shocked to see Lee Bak disperse his sword intent so simply. “There are many rumours about Lung Wai Yuet’s youngest disciple being a talented glipher, and today, it seems those rumours are actually true.”

Fok Fung was a natural talent in swordsmanship. The sword intent around him was in reality a type of special body form.

Sword Tomb body, ranked first on the Earth Rank.

It was said that a lonely star was destined to be born with this body form, whereupon sword intent would automatically and uncontrollably attack everything in the vicinity. This was how Fok Fung lost his mother; she was killed by the sword intent reflected by the Sword Tomb body during his birth.

Even his own father never once hugged him. When he was a baby, the four-chambered elites of his clan had to feed him with energliph surrounding their bodies to prevent themselves from being injured.

He could only somewhat control this body form when he broke through his innate chamber. Even so, the Sword Tomb body was still difficult to control. Back when he descended from the Divine Tome of Heaven and injured those commoners, it was unintentional.

Thus, Fok Fung normally didn’t have to use his sword on his opponents. He could simply defeat them by controlling his body form. Sadly, Lee Bak was no ordinary cultivator.

Fok Fung stared at Lee Bak solemnly. “You’re the second person I have to use my sword for this competition.”

“Attack however you wish.” Lee Bak shrugged.

Fok Fung reached out his right hand and grabbed the sword on his waist.

Clang!Even before he pulled his sword, there was a strong wave as the invisible sword intent from the Sword Tomb body surged towards Lee Bak in the form of hundreds of sword intent beams!

Lee Bak did not have fancy footwork, but it was clean and sharp. Every one of his attacks seemed careless, but he managed to destroy the sword intent, and Fok Fung’s expression turned solemn. The weird shield was what worried him the most; he felt a scary aura from it that he didn’t feel even from his grade three gliph weapon!

The thought of this made his right arm light up with energliph.

Only someone like Fok Fung that was born with natural sword intent could manage to control a grade three gliph weapon as a grade one glipher.
