As a Northerner, Or Shan Tat fought head-on and rarely dodged attacks, just like Wong Chow Yip. Both of them felt the web between their thumb and forefinger receiving force from their violent fight. This got their adrenaline pumping, and both teenagers couldn’t help but gasp at how exciting the battle was!

On the other hand, On Kuet and Sun Liu’s fight was even more intense. Sun Liu who activated his Spirit Bear Body wore punching gloves that shone dimly in gold and had spikes on the surface – they were obviously gliph weapons. He used these to fight On Kuet’s sabre with his fists!

Even though Sun Liu wore punching gloves, it seemed like he was battling On Kuet’s sabre with his bare fists, which was a thrilling scene to watch!

Boom Boom Boom!

The teen boys took the other’s attacks forcefully, and each attack ended with a tie!

Or perhaps not… Only On Kuet knew how scary Sun Liu was; every one of Sun Liu’s attacks made his hands hurt, and he was slowly losing grip of his weapon after a number of rounds.

“What a powerful Spirit Bear Body!” On Kuet yelled as his aura changed violently, attracting Chor Kwong Laan’s and Wong Chow Yip’s attention in the midst of their fierce fights. “That’s the On Clan’s… Kirin Arm!”

On Kuet seemed to go berserk as dark red patterns surfaced on his arms. On Kuet did not have these gliphs tattooed – these gliphs that were normally hidden came with his genes, the On Clan’s bloodline!

In the genes of On Clan members, they had the special body form, Kirin Arm. Visible improvement was seen in On Kuet’s attack speed as well as his strength after the body form was activated. The red light on his arm that landed on the sabre every time he launched an attack added a fierce touch to On Kuet’s attack.

The Kirin Arm was a special body type that visibly only amplified the cultivator’s arm, but it also amplified their strength as well as their bones greatly. When the cultivator reached the later stages, Kirin True Intent would also be infused in the attacks, making it as good as a terrifying beast king’s attack! Even though one would not be able to find Kirin Arm on the special body form ranks, it was widely known to be powerful.

Nobody thought On Kuet would be able to inherit the Kirin Arm when his father failed to do so!

Right after activating the special body form that he kept hidden for so long, On Kuet now had the upper hand and every one of his attacks suppressed Sun Liu for a few seconds!

“So this is how Northern men are? You’re all such weaklings!” On Kuet laughed loudly.

“Don’t go overboard!” Sun Liu shouted angrily. With that, the duo fought even more wildly.

Chor Kwong Laan and Wong Chow Yip were also fighting a northern classmate respectively.

One Northern teen initially wanted to fight Chui Yim one on one, but seeing how he took no action and only watched the other three fight, the teen could only let it go.

Stimulated by the fight, Sun Liu’s right arm grew a few times larger. He was now nothing like a human but a giant gliphic bear instead.

He had the Power Bear Arm gliph tattooed on his innate right arm chamber. This familiar-sounding gliph was indeed a variation of the Bear Arm gliph, the so-called Super-Strength gliph of the North.

It was more complicated than the Bear Arm gliph, yet it gave an even larger increase in strength. The most critical point was the ingredient used for Sun Liu’s gliph – heaven-shaking bear.

It was quite a powerful name for a beast. A grade five heaven-shaking bear once appeared long ago, and it was the first heaven-shaking bear in the world, said to be a hybrid of an ancient dragon and bear. Of course, that was the only heaven-shaking bear that actually managed to shake the world. Its descendants were still strong, but they were far away from their ancestor.

Despite the declining ability of their breed, the Power Bear Arm gliph that made use of the heaven-shaking bear as an ingredient increased Sun Liu’s power several fold. Along with his Spirit Bear Body, Sun Liu had extraordinary attacks!

“Take my gliphility – King Bear Punch!” Sun Liu roared as his fist turned pitch-black. Accompanied by the soft roaring of a bear, he attacked On Kuet!

On Kuet laughed, removing his coarse and wild expression and replacing it with a cold and calm one instead.

Huff…

On Kuet was a strong boy with strong arms and a powerful special body type, but nobody knew that he had an innate right leg chamber.

The gliph on his foot lit up slightly and he activated his gliphility, Chopping Steps.

He moved a few inches in the air as he raised his hands, ready to land his sabre. Sun Liu’s confident punch ended with a miss and his weakness was caught by On Kuet who moved a few inches back.

Chopping Steps was a gliphility of energliph, knife skills, and battle skills – moving lightly to dodge an attack while getting ready to unleash one’s own, it was as if Sun Liu put his head forward for On Kuet to chop.

On Kuet’s sabre was aiming for Sun Liu’s neck. Calmly, he slashed down…

All of a sudden, On Kuet’s face fell and he turned his landing sabre rapidly to use it as a huge shield!

Clang!

On Kuet was thrown backwards and left two long marks on the ground. Not just him, Wong Chow Yip and Chor Kwong Laan suffered from the assault too, and they were even less lucky.

Wong Chow Yip was having the time of his life when somebody suddenly assaulted him hard in his ribs. The sound of bones cracking was heard, and it was unknown how many ribs he had broken.

The composed Chor Kwong Laan managed to dodge the surprise attack, but the Northern kid fighting him seized the chance and nearly slashed his left ear off, leaving a small wound on him.

As for Chui Yim, his face changed as he flicked his finger. Even though he rarely used it to fight opponents, he used the Flame’s Knife gliph that he was most familiar with against Wai-Chi Chun!

“Wai-Chi… what a familiar surname.” On the grandstand, a principal of a certain institution muttered. Grandma Chin Shu coldly replied in an instant, “A common surname of the Northern Nine-Tailed Tribe. Wai-Chi Chun must be the tribe leader’s son.”

“The Nine-Tailed Tribe.” Sze Fung also looked unhappy hearing the name. The South and North were in a long-lasting war, but it was never serious and only limited to the Bloody War Frontier. Only every few decades would a huge war break out.

There was one time when the North nearly made their way into the South’s Five before they were chased back by the On, Wong, and Chor Clans together. That war was planned by the Nine-Tailed Tribe, who spent three years forging a route through the Forbidden Forest for many armies to make their way into the middle of the South!
