After the participants were being “thrown” into the tower, a fist-sized red ruby hanging from the tower’s roof lit up dimly and projected the current situation inside the tower onto the huge arena.

The audience gasped at the amazing technology subconsciously. From Grandma Chin Shu’s brand new method of using the Divine Tome of Heaven Domination to conduct the gliphism segment to Metallic Blood War Gate’s advanced technique of showcasing the competition, it left the audience awestruck. But at the end of the day, all audience for the group competition were knowledgeable individuals, thus they calmed down fast and focused on the interesting competition that was soon to start.

The participants felt giddy upon being transported into the Metallic Blood Giant Tower. Nope, they weren’t teleported, but thrown into the tower after being turned half solid with energliph forcefully!

Since it’s a battle between institutions, the disciples were not separated from their schoolmates and thus, the Cloud Palace outer sect disciples were currently together.

Chui Yim patted his head to make himself feel more awake.

When he recovered from the dizziness, Chui Yim found himself in a peculiar, crimson world. The ground was made of rock with hints of dark red and there was blood fog all around the place. Chui Yim took a deep breath and found out that the blood fog which entered his body improved his physical strength, which was a pleasant surprise for him!

After breaking through his innate chamber, Chui Yim became as strong as a two-chambered glipher.

Now that he’d inhaled the blood fog, he sensed that his physical strength improved largely. However, the cons of blood fog was obvious. Chui Yim picked up that the blood fog was just a temporary enhancement and remembering how Lung Wai Yuet mentioned that a participant that left the tower seriously injured would lose all their blood intent, he guessed that it was a superficial upgrade of physical ability.

Participants who had just entered the tower were either startled or delighted by the positive changes blood intent brought to their bodies as having powerful physical capability was beneficial to all cultivators; it increased a gliphist’s survival ability and obviously, gliphers require a strong body to battle.

This period of blood intent surge was known as blood wave, which was normally only open to the most outstanding disciple of Metallic Blood War Gate.

Therefore, the important figures were taken aback and everyone viewed her with great respect for her selfless decision.

It did not take long for the outer sect disciples to calm down and voice the different plans they had.

“It’s a disgrace to team up with you guys.” Lee Bat Fan spoke first and with a sneer, he left with those disciples whose clan developed under the Lee Clan and had ability above average.

This was no surprise especially when there was a significant number of Northern disciples from the outer sect. It’s almost impossible for Southerners and Northerners to join forces.

“Miss Mung, will you like to join us? We are all Northerners after all, and it’s good to have a companion looking out for each other.” A gentle teenage boy expressed his kind will to Mung Si. Unlike other Northerners, this teen was way less aggressive to the point that people would believe that he was from the South. This teen was Wai-Chi Chun, the son of the huge Northern Nine-Tailed Tribe’s leader as well as a member of Wai-Chi Clan.

Mung Si glanced at Chui Yim indifferently; the latter was surrounded by Kam Chin Kee and a few other disciples. The battle with Giant Demonic Spider proved the ability of that Kam-whatever-teen. With him around, they would at least be safe…

“I’m used to acting alone.” Thinking of this, Mung Si replied and wings formed on her feet, speeding off as a blaze of light. It was the Heavenly Pheonix Pinion that she created yesterday.

Other than Mung Si, Suet Sing Fuk also glanced at Wai-Chi Chun coldly, disapproving Wai-Chi Chun’s self-proclaimed position as the Northern disciples’ leader. “We Northern men are lone wolves, there’s no need to act in a group.” With that, Suet Sing Fuk left.

This did not affect Wai-Chi Chun who left with the other Northern teenagers.

Soon, only a few disciples were left. Chui Yim, Kam Chin Kee, Chor Kwong Laan, Wong Chow Yip and On Kuet.

Leave alone Kam Chin Kee and Chui Yim, after the battle with giant demonic spider, Chor Kwong Laan, On Kuet and Wong Chow Yip whose clans were sort of enemies became close friends. Furthermore, as teens, their clan’s matters got nothing on them.

Chor Kwong Laan saved Wong Chow Yip’s life, thus Wong Chow Yip would never leave the former as other than being friends, he felt that he owe the other his life. As for Chor Kwong Laan whom Chui Yim saved by changing gliph, it was no surprise that he volunteered to stay with Chui Yim.

Chui Yim and Kam Chin Kee exchanged helpless glances but felt that the three teens were loyal friends. “Let’s go.”

Now, a whole Cloud Palace outer sect was separated into a few small groups, and those that deemed themselves to be capable even act alone.

“This blood intent is brilliant!” On Kuet burst out laughing. He was the same age as his classmates but looked more mature and even had stubbles like a young adult! With the sabre on his shoulders, manly was the best description for On Kuet.

“I can feel the changes taking place to my body after taking in the blood intent. It’s indeed the precious place of Metallic Blood War Gate.” Chor Kwong Laan nodded in agreement.

Wong Chow Yip nodded too. “I heard that this is the first time in a few hundred years that Metallic Blood War Gate opened the blood wave to the public. Only outstanding disciples of theirs were allowed to take in blood intent during normal circumstances. This is like jem to gliphers!”

Being members of famous clans, the Chor-Wong-On trio had a fair understanding with regard to confidential topics.

On the other hand, Kam Chin Kee gazed around curiously. He spotted a door in no time. “There’s a door in that direction.”

The four other teens turned towards the direction he was pointing to see a door hanging in thin air. Both sides were already opened and there was a stair leading upwards.

“I guess the first level is just like the starting point for all to get into groups before setting off.”

They exchanged helpless glances as they were the last to set off in their class.

“Let’s go.”

After the group entered, the door shut slowly and vanished into thin air, as if it could sense that there were no remaining participants on the first floor.
