Chui Yim looked up when he heard Fung Seung.

The Divine Bracelet of Five Element was mentioned in the book; Rare Treasure Records. In the legends, the bracelet was created with an ancient cast, pentachromatic divine rock, and its forging took nine days. Naturally, the divine rock carried the characteristics of the five elements.

Simply put, the Divine Bracelet of Five Elements was the best storage tool in the world, and normal clan storage jades were a far cry in comparison.

The jade Ping Chi gifted Chui Yim was already considered excellent quality; look at the huge Nine-Dragon Flame Gathering Cauldron it stored, but it was still second-rate compared to the divine bracelet. Its capacity was omitted from the Rare Treasure Records and was only described as “Large enough to store the world”.

Furthermore, this was a gem for gliphists and gliphers as the bracelet’s characteristics made it suitable to nurture gliphist’s treasures or gliph weapons.

It was similar to the bracelet in which Siu Suet nurtured her gliph weapon—which was already a rare treasure. The Divine Bracelet of Five Elements possessed the characteristics of all five elements, so it could be used to nurture any gliph weapon, and it had a significantly greater effect than Siu Suet’s bracelet.

Sadly, the Divine Bracelet of Five Elements had become a myth.

“The original pentachromatic divine rock was large enough to create ten Divine Bracelet of Five Elements.” This was recorded in the Rare Treasure Records, but the world had not seen the bracelets in over a thousand years. Well, even if somebody got hold of one, they would keep it a secret.

If the hundred-year-old everlasting wood’s size reduced its usefulness, then the Divine Bracelet of Five Elements could be said to be extremely useful!

They are giving this out as a prize!? Never has the prize been so significant for previous exchanges! It only made sense with Chau Tai Fu being part of the equation.

Chau Tai Fu had no talent in cultivation, so the bracelet was as good as useless to him. Since the participants in this exchange were said to be the best in a hundred years, giving such a prize would help his reputation greatly. Moreover…it wasn’t like he couldn’t afford it.

Of course, that was thanks to his business. Chui Yim perked his ears up in interest after hearing that the prize would be the bracelet. Now, even he decided to put in more effort to win.

Fung Seung glanced around him to see the crowd’s shock before continuing. “That’s all for today. See you all at the finals tomorrow.”

It wasn’t like he never thought of pocketing the Divine Bracelet of Five Elements, but the powerful Chau Tai Fu made him give up the idea. Chau Tai Fu was no ordinary tycoon; his ability to act freely despite the Lam dynasty’s strict suppression showed that he was more powerful than others thought.

Chai Fook Sau was filled with excitement at the news. The Divine Bracelet of Five Elements was a treasure with great effects for gliph weapons; which blacksmith could resist it?

Yau Suet Chung had a ferocious expression as he grew determined to get the prize. “I will win, and nobody can stop me!” At first, when he was ordered to take part in the exchange, Yau Suet Chung was unhappy. Did Master send me to participate after hearing some insider news of this bracelet?

The forging segment had always been the most boring segment of the interschool exchange due to its nature as opposed to the gliphism or battle segments.

Under Chau Tai Fu’s instructions, Fung Seung tried to make this contest more interesting by giving a unique topic and announcing the grand prize. Naturally, everyone started anticipating the competition more.

Besides the exchange, the second topic of interest was Chui Yim. He was a thirteen-year-old great master, but his work today looked nothing like what Chai Fook Sau and Yau Seut Chung submitted. He was gaining suspicion of being undeserving of his reputation, accumulating hate from the eliminated disciples who believed he only made it to the finals because of Grandmaster Choh’s influence.

Even so, the results had been decided, and there was nothing the rest could do.

More spectators were waiting for Chui Yim’s performance tomorrow to see if he lived up to his reputation. If he failed to perform, tomorrow’s contest was enough to destroy his reputation.

However, the person himself knew nothing about the discussion surrounding him.

The main character was now back home, drinking with Kam Chin-Kee and two other guests wearing a dark red robe with a tower on it.

One of them was enjoying the wine peacefully. His demeanour was nothing like that of a teenager’s, but the second teen next to him was evidently in a good mood. He blinked his large eyes as he sipped his wine before turning to the other coquettishly. “Uncle, this is so good.” It was hard to believe that the cheerful teen was older than the other.

Meanwhile, Chui Yim was drinking continuously. If he got drunk, it would be his fault alone, but the calm teen couldn’t help but speak to Kam Chin-Kee. “Brother Kam…are we not going to stop Brother Chui? He has a competition tomorrow.”

Chui Yim, who wasn’t drunk yet, heard him and looked over. “What for? All participants are just kids; I wouldn’t lose to them even if I was drunk.” He replied loudly.

The guests were Lee Bak and Sung Hau from the Metallic Blood War Gate. Chui Yim never expected them to actually come over after he invited them, but neither he nor Kam Chin Kee minded, so this weird group was formed.

Chui Yim downed his entire cup and glanced at Lee Bak. “Alright, shall we get to the main point now since we’ve had a drink?”

Lee Bak turned to Kam Chin Kee hesitatingly to see him smiling at him quietly, symbolising that both he and Chui Yim long knew that Lee Bak wasn’t just here for drinks. So, Lee Bak went straight to the point. “Brother Chui is indeed straightforward, so I’ll cut to the chase. I’m here today to request a gliph weapon from Brother Chui.”

This didn’t surprise Chui Yim; he had already lost count of how many people had come to him for gliph weapons recently, maybe even surpassing a hundred! He was a great glipheon, but he was a much more skilled blacksmith. Everyone who came to see him had requested a gliph weapon; not a single patient had sought him out as a glipheon.

“Continue.” Chui Yim spoke as he continued to drink.

Lee Bak looked up and slapped the jade on his waist, a small shield appearing before him.
