The destroyed Giant Demonic Spider web was no less terrifying; it was as if sharp spears! At the same time, the spider moved its agile, whip-liked leg towards Lee Bak. If he were fighting alone, the spider would definitely attack him with more than one leg. He could not care more but to activate the Crimson Blood Body again. With blood trickling down his lips, he yelled as he blocked the attack with the shield around his left arm.

“Ugh!” Lee Bak coughed out a huge amount of blood. Gritting his teeth, he turned to Kam Chin Kee. “Brother Kam!”

Unfazed, Kan Chin Kee moved his fingers at lightning speed to drive the blue wolf next to the spider’s head.

Roar! It was a roar belonging to the spider that had its bloody mouth wide opened, flashing its shiny fangs that bit into the blue wolf violently!

Crack!

Lee Bak who was thrown to the ground watched the scene unfold silently as energliph surged from the person next to him; Kam Chin Kee. Despite not having to break through, he with an innate wind chamber was no weak fighter. At this moment, his energliph flowed towards the blue wolf through the strings as he mumbled to himself. “Thousand Mechanism Sect’s puppetry skills…

“...Explosive Puppet!” Kam Chin Kee’s white robe moved and revealed his hands hidden beneath. They were currently clenched into a fist. And the poor blue wolf that was currently in the spider’s mouth, being corroded by its poison slowly lit up of a sudden.

It was too late when the spider realised that something was off.

Boom! Under Kam Chin Kee’s intentional activation of energliph, energliph and the countless mechanisms in the blue wolf formed into an energliph bomb and exploded in the spider’s mouth!

Eeeeeek!!! The next thing they heard was the painful cries of the spider.

Up in the skies sat Woo Nim and Cheuk Kwun spectating the current situation.

“This cohort of the outer sect really stuns me. That’s a grade two Giant Demonic Spider they are facing! However, what really amazed me was still Kam Chin Kee, whom already left me in awe with his creativity when he raised that particular question to me previously.” Cheuk Kwun smiled gently. “If I’m right, he might be trying to come out with strings made of purely energliph to control the toys in his hands.”

Woo Nim was all tensed up unlike Cheuk Kwun. There were rules and regulations to the Cloud Palace outer sect’s excursion. As teachers, they weren’t allowed to help students who were facing those of their state. For example, Pak Lai Fung versus Lee Bak. It was only a pity that Pak Lai Fung was no match for the latter.

However, the giantic spider that their students were going against were a state above them. Not only so, Giant Demonic Spider were beast invincible to those of their own states! This conditions were equivalent for the teachers to step in during the time of need.

As cultivators of state higher than the students, they already figured out each of their cultivation progress during the first day. But Kam Chin Kee who made use of skills that were literally out of this world of gliph was still unpredictable to them. In fact, before the excursion, both teachers thought that Kam Chin Kee was just like some of the Cloud Palace outer sect’s students; here to be a graduate from this prestigious school and do some branding on him. And that was the aim of this excursion, to eliminate those under this category.

In total, there were forty-three students in this cohort, including Chui Yim’s special quota. Lam Mei Mei had withdrawn earlier on, and including Pak Lai Fung, three students had already lost their lives during this excursion, while another seven students were saved by Cheuk Kwun and Woo Nim on the line of life and death. This symbolised that the seven students were eliminated from the outer sect too. They had mediocre abilities anyway, and they were those that were here to forge relations with future talents.

It was a short excursion, yet ten students were already eliminated.

They hardly met any that left their eyes in stalk, and Kam Chin Kee was that special student. Especially when he made use of his brillant and mysterious puppetry skills, even Cheuk Kwun, the Guardian of Cloud Forest, blew his mind. After witnessing the great energliph movement from Explosive Puppet, Cheuk Kwun’s currently watching the combat in excitement. Will he be able to take down the ancient Giant Demonic Spider that was two states above him?

Kam Chin Kee’s was now pale as ghost. Explosive puppet was an mechanism that resulted in negative effects in the launcher before it even does any damage to the opponent. The blue wolf was Kam Chin Kee’s most powerful and only puppet left. This action bright about harm to Kam Chin Kee and his energliph was depleted.

He looked up arupdtly through his foggy sight. Lee Bak who laid on the fround wore a complex expression. Just with the mechanism he saw during the explosion and the layers of different coloured poision got him to know how powerful Kam Chin Kee was. He could only win Kam Chin Kee in a battle if he were to activate his Crimson Blood Body and take the other’s life.

If the combat turned into a long-lasting fight, with Kam Chin Kee’s different mechanisms and ever-changing skills, there was no perfect plan one could come out with to deal with it. Even Lee Bak wasn’t confident about being able to take down the energliph Kam Chin Kee used to activate the Explosive Puppet. However, this also meant that they should prepare for escape if the spider survive this attack.

The head is the most deadly part of all living things. Even with a stone-like tough exterior, destroying an opponent’s head would take its life.

This was the first time in about a hundred years of its life the spider felt that its life was threatened. In fact, as an ancient beast, the aura of its bloodline was already able to make other gliphic beasts stay away from it. Moreover, Giant Demonic Spiders were only of palm-sized during normal circumstance. Thus, Giant Demonic Spider did not have any predators and this was the first time in a hundred years it fought.

The combat was not exactly a long lasting one, but it was definitely a brand new experience to the spider. Combat skills flowing in its blood from its ancestors came to its evolved as it fought. It’s shell became tougher, spider web enlarging and increasingly poisonous. It evolved continuously, or in another words, slowly turning back into the extremely powerful Giant Demonic Spider that was recorded in historical books.

However, this wasn’t enough. It had too much enemies to face. The taste of death forced it to go crazy.

EEEEKKKK!!!

The ear piercing soundwaves caused a few Metallic Blood War Gate disciples that stood near it to faint! Fearsome energliph movement was felt emitted from the spider, and its head that was damaged by the Blue Wolf’s poison was seen rejuvenating at an evident speed!

Whoosh!

Two middle-aged men dashed through the wind. They had clearly noticed the combat here and rushed here upon feeling the horrifying energliph movement of the spider. But as they got closer, the faster their heart pounced.

That was the stress from a creature that was born to stand on top of the food chain! Giant Demonic Spider was a legendary gliphic beast that had the bloodline of genies! In the line of life and death, it broke through!

Crack…

Due to its large body, the crackling sound was clear. The three-metered spider now became four meters tall, and wasn’t going to stop growing!
