“Ha!” An empty punch landed in the air. Feeling rubbery and weak, Chui Yim dropped to the ground as his eyes remained on the seemingly ineffective punch he launched with all his might. He was speechless to see that all he got was just a tiny spark of flame that would disappear with a huff.

He sat on the ground as he watched the cute, tiny, spark drift in the air like any other petal in this space. Annoyance had Chui Yim frowning and cursing as he pondered hard on what went wrong. However, he missed the spark of flame flying up into the air as if there was a fatal attraction.

This came as a threatening action to the formation thus the defence mode was activated. Countless petals joined to form the handsome scholar that defeated Wong Chow Yip and Chow Kwong Laan previously. He waved his fan casually to put out the spark but surprisingly, he failed.

Instead, a petal that drift towards it caught fire on accident. Now, there were two sparks on flames drifting in the air Like the domino effect, more floating petals caught fire and when Chui Yim looked up, there was a sea of fire above him and the space was snowing flames! “What happened?” Badly stunned Chui Yim watched the rising flames devour the gorgeous petals and turned the space into a sea of flames.

A figure made of petals appeared in front of Chui Yim and spoke in his echoey voice. “I’m impressed that Sir could break through my Romance in the Air formation. Since you’ve succeeded, I’ll definately adhere to my promise.”

With that, the sea of petals dispersed and the sea of flames was put out. It was during that instance when Chui Yim felt a strong movement of energliph and realised that the petals weren’t actually petals but energliph! To be exact, the concept of fire subdued over wood doesn’t exist. But the tiny spark I created…other than energliph and blood energy, contains a slight amount of…Heaven’s Flame.

The Nine Heaven’s Flame could kindle everything in the world. Even energliph.

If Sir Beauty was still around, he’d definitely have ideas to cope with Chui Yim’s Heaven’s Flame but this was just a formation left behind for him to test out the worthy descendant. It didn’t have the intelligence nor could it improvise itself to deal with Chui Yim’s Heaven’s Flame and thus, the formation that left many geniuses in headache and failure was solved by Chui Yim, the new one-chambered cultivator!

The thought of this put a proud smile on Chui Yim’s face. I’m indeed a genius! He strode forward happily towards the grassland that was masked by the formation previously. With a violent shake and distortion, the sea of flowers disappeared.

Unlike the stunning sea of flowers, the grassland’s view was mediocre, yet it had a peaceful and calming vibe. In the middle of the grassland was a huge, white tree. There wasn’t much grain nor traces of destruction on it and it looked like a simple white pillar from afar.

In front of the tree, there were two graves side by side. “The grave of my beloved wife, Chan Ping”, and the other “The grave of Sir Beauty, Man Fung.”

After a long period of time, the abandoned graves were covered with a thick layer of dust. Chui Yim immediately understood the situation.  Not only did Sir Beauty hid his treasure here, he also built the grave of him and his beloved wife here.

With that, he went forward and bowed to the graves.

Buzz…

The white tree behind the graves lit up. A one metered long item that was being surrounded by white lights float to Chui Yim. “This is the tree bud of a ten thousand year old Mirage Wood. It was my treasure but I wipe my markings off the treasure voluntary before my death, decreasing the connections between this treasure and me, the owner. It’s now up to you to take over it successfully.”

Chui Yim was dumdstruck when he heard this. He watched the light dimmed from the typical looking tree. The wood was only one-meteres long yet it was surrounded with a weird ball of light. It seemed to be in front of Chui Yim, yet it felt like Chui Yim couldn’t touch it.

Mirage Wood was something that only appeared in history books. In the books, they wrote that “In the woods was a hidden world”, which meant to be the Mirage Tree. Mirage Tree was a rare plant that required an enormous amount of vitality to grow; so much that within a hundred miles radius no plants could survive. All vitality within that radius would become the Mirage Tree’s feed.

Not only so, the Mirage tree had a special ability called hallucination. As long as someone neared the Mirage tree, they would hallucinate. In the books recorded people seeing the other side of the world, their loved ones and more. This was the reason why people now called hallucination mirage.

After the huge war a thousand year ago, there wasn’t any news information of Mirage Tree. But there’s one in front of me now?

A tree bud was where all essence of the tree was stored. Moreover, Mirage Tree’s ability to produced hallucination made many elites or cultivators that practice hallucination attributed styles beg for the tree bud. They would even exchange it with a huge amount of wealth.

Chui Yim took the tree bud over with great care and kept it in the jade tied to his waise carefully. He looked to the graves in front of him and went up to clean the dust away from it carefully before bowing to them respectfully. “Senior!” He shouted. “Even if we are more than a hundred years apart, senior still deserves this title. The Mirage Tree bud might not come in use for me, but I’ll help it search for a worthy master for senior’s treasure to live up to it’s worth.”

The teen’s loud voice echoed through out the forest like it was a promise to himself at the sametime. The white tree’s leaves in front of him danced lightly, as if Sir Beauty was smiling thinly at him while fanning his hand fan slightly, emitting cooling wind.

Damn it!

Lam Zaa clenched his fist hard with his eyes fixated on the shiny figure in front of him.

“Damn It!” He yelled in anger as he pushed his palm that lit up in dark blue forward.

The Limitless Sea! Boom! An attack that held an enormous amount of energy. Amongst the sea of gliphity, Limitless Sea was just like any other gliphility, not standing out. Well, it wouldn’t when the current scene faced was something to only be found in historical records.

Numerous cultivators of a low state were going against a three-metered tall giant spider fearlessly. The giant spider wasn’t an easy enemy, it was able to send cultivators flying towards it’s sticky web while vomiting blood. The cultivators that ended stuck on the web were unable to move but fortunately, not seriously injured; not because the beast was being kind, but because it was so angry that it was to eat all of them alive!

The leaders of the teens was a teen with sword and shield and a blue statue of a wolf.

Under Lee Bak’s great will to fight, it motivated the Metallic Blood War Gate disciples and those from the Cloud Palace outer sect gained courage seeing Kam Chin Kee fight. They stood up and went against the spider too.
