It was the Bear Arm gliph, a common choice among Northerners. Considering that the gliph had to be tattooed with parts of a fanged bear, a gliphic beast, it was far superior to the Superhuman gliph that Yeung Tin Hun had come across in the past. The innate two-chambered beast at its peak had the ability to crush most gliphers of the same state, after all.

Precisely because of the Heaven Sacrifice Tribe’s scale could the glipher gain access to such a powerful gliph.

The glipher activated Bear Arm, strengthening his right arm, but that wasn’t all. Energliph congealed over the blade of the grade one axe as an extra layer.

Other than their monstrous strength, fanged bears were known also for their literally rock-crushing teeth.

Gliphility: Fanged Bear Slash!

Yeung Tin Hun remained composed, even with slight disregard, while facing the glipher a state above him. His silver Snow Glider pierced through the air and took the form of a snake, diligently dodging the powerful attack of his opponent. It was hard to imagine that a spear could have such flexibility.

However, Yeung Tin Hun would be resisting the attack with his body now that the spear was out of the way! Just as a vile smirk formed on the glipher’s face, a shield appeared out of nowhere and blocked the axe.

The shield shattered, but another one levitated right behind it. Taking after the fate of the previous shield, the current shield broke and left Man Yee Ho all pale. Still, he immediately flicked his fingers to create another shield for Yeung Tin Hun.

Boom!

Boom!

Cracks formed on the glipher’s axe after the crackling clash. Man Yee Ho’s eyes lit up as his fingers hidden beneath his bright red robe moved at lightning speed, leaving an afterimage in the air that disappeared within no time. 盾牌破碎的點點紋力,卻是在轉眼Pff!

The energliph from the crushed shield turned into two tiny needles! The glipher let out a miserable scream. His gliphility had failed him, and he was in a state where his energliph had yet to replenish. Before he could react, two tiny needles pierced his eyes and left two streaks of bloody tears on his cheeks.

While the three energliph shields were shattering, Yeung Tin Hun’s spear had already reached another assailant. The tent’s entrance was only wide enough for one person to enter at a time, so the glipher behind the axeman had his view blocked and missed the snake-like spear coming for him.

They were gliphers after all; they wouldn’t just carelessly barge into the tent just because “their ancestors would be with them”.

Their strategy was for their mighty short-range brute to lead the assault while the speedy glipher would follow after. However, Yeung Tin Hun and Man Yee Ho had caught them off guard with their swift attack.

With that, the Snow Glider stabbed into the unprepared glipher’s body. The poor two-chambered glipher was killed by a single attack even before he could perform his gliphility!

“Show yourselves! No man hides like a coward!” Not realising he had turned blind, the axe-wielding glipher thought that Man Yee Ho and Yeung Tin Hun were scaredy cats that dared not face him upfront. He waved his axe proudly like a fool as the duo watched from afar.

Yeung Tin Hun turned around to find Man Yee Ho with his eyes shut, making full use of the precious time they had to replenish energliph. The young gliphist had depleted his energliph to take down the axe-wielding glipher’s full-force attack. Gliphists who had yet to break through had a critical weakness—insufficient energliph.

It didn’t matter if the gliphist’s innate chamber was the heart or wind chamber, for either of them stored energliph more than the other chambers. On the contrary, heart and wind chambers that had yet to break through were worse in comparison. While it seemed amazing that Man Yee Ho could draw gliphs already, he couldn’t put up a long fight as a gliphist.

The world was fair; even such geniuses were limited by the laws of the world.

Yeung Tin Hun sighed at the sight and charged forward with his spear.

Boom!

Argh!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Ugh—

Yu-Man Lung heard Hung Lik’s battle cry before explosions of energliph followed. Suddenly, a scream of despair turned Yu-Man Lung’s blood cold.

“Show yourselves! No man hides like a coward!”

Hung Lik’s voice rang out clearly, but it wasn’t long before the sound of a weapon stabbing into flesh muted him. Silence resounded within the tent, leaving only the flakey snow fluttering in the wind and crimson spots of blood splattered on the fabric. The ordinary-looking tent had turned into a human-devouring monster.

Thud.

A person took a step forward, imprinting his footprint into the snow. It was Cheng Hak with strong energliph emanating from his body.

Watching the Yeung-Man duo defeat two one-chamber and two two-chambered cultivators left Cheng Hak stunned, especially when he felt that they were somewhat overreacting to send four cultivators to deal with two teens. One was a one-chambered glipher and the other was a gliphist who had yet to break through. He, a three-chambered gliphers that was two cultivation states above them, had never thought that he would need to step in.

It did cross Cheng Hak’s mind that the Yeung-Man duo might win this battle, but not at such rapid speed.

It feels like a one-sided beatdown. The four we sent didn’t even have the chance to fight back. I doubt I can kill the four cultivators any faster.

This thought had Cheng Hak make up his mind to give it his all. He went forward barefooted and empty-handed. Since he was a double leg and left arm-chambered glipher, he relied on his legs more than his left arm. In the tribe, he was nicknamed “Snowy Kickster” and known for his short-range attacks.
