Boom! The fog mountain made of fog converged on the shadow in front of him.

“Hehe.” The black shadow let out an echoey laugh. The flame-like black shadow was like dark clouds in the sky; the mountain range concealed by the fog disappeared once it met the onyx shadow.

Old Ngai was even warier, seeing how easily the other party dispelled his attack. Having lived several centuries, he had met many poweful elites.

Even Yeung Ha from Four Seasons Heaven and Man Chin Hung from the Imperial Sunset Palace had to bow to respect him as their senior if they saw him. The only person of his generation was that old goat from the Blazing Skies Mountain.

This was the first time Old Ngai had encountered someone like the person in front of him, and he was stronger than the necrocultivators he had met before. However, something didn’t add up.

Necrogliphism has perished for so long; where did such a powerful cultivator come from? Or did they just go into hiding until they were strong enough to rise once more?

“Do you believe me now? Let me explain things to you. To kill me, you’ll need to use your personal gliph. While you materialise the gliph, I‘ll have ample time to kill them three, even four times.

“As long as you let me go, I vow that they shall remain unscathed. Their lives are now in your hands.”

The shadow let out an eerie laughter and casually waved his hands. A ball of black light descended from the sky.

Szzz… Instead of the anticipated explosion, sounds of decay were heard. Old Ngai roared as fog surged toward the black light to repel the decaying force.

  “Oops,  just an accident. Hahaha…”

Old Ngai’s face almost turned pale. That was not a gliphility, but pure energliph. Necrocultivators had a different energliph from normal cultivators; their energliph was a pure aura of death that eroded everything in the world. this was why necrocultivators were more powerful than normal cultivators.

The necrocultivator in front of him had reached the stage where he could destroy anything using just his energliph.

If I let such a person roam free in the palace… Old Ngai didn’t dare to risk it,  even though he didn’t understand why the powerful necrocultivator hadn’t killed anybody yet.

Let him go first and take action outside, Old Ngai thought, waving his sleeves with a sneer. A hole appeared in the water screen.

“Get lost before I change my mind.”

The black shadow chuckled. He wasn’t surprised. “Don’t worry, we’ll meet again.”

Whoosh. Once the dark shadow dashed past the hole, the water screen returned to normal. Old Ngai’s face turned cold as he vanished.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

“The bastard who dares offend the Chor Clan shall die!”

A yell rang out throughout Blue Dragon Avenue. It came from one of the Chor Clan faction leaders. He held a rod which was shorter than most, yet it struck fear in others when wielded by the four chambered glipher. It was as ferocious as a dragon’s breath!

Boom!

The onslaught of the Chor Clan forced the two necrocultivators back again and again. They would have been killed long ago without Steelhead’s great defence. At the same time, Jet summoned countless daggers and illusionary hornets. Chor Clan disciples that were stabbed by the daggers died instantly!.

“Cough…”

Steelhead, holding onto the scary-looking head, coughed up blood after being repeatedly struck by the Chor Clan faction leaders. So what if he was a necrocultivator? After all, he was still a three-chambered cultivator, and he was seriously injured after receiving attacks from four-chambered cultivators.

However, neither he nor Jet considered retreating an option.

“Who are they!” The Chor Clan disciples were stunned. There were only two three-chambered cultivators; how could they survive their attacks for so long?

“They are necrocultivators,” a weak voice rang out. The crowd turned around in shock, together with Jet.

“How is he still alive?” Jet mumbled.

That person was Chor Shing Chit. He was extremely pale and weak, but still as determined as ever. He scanned the surroundings, and the necrocultivator’s heart dropped. “There were three of them earlier. Find the missing lady!”

“There’s no need!” A voice cut them off, attracting the crowd’s attention. Nobody knew when the lady had appeared next to the necrocultivators.

“Did you get it?” Jet and Steelhead looked up, pleasantly surprised.

“Yes.” Butterfly nodded.

“Let’s go!”

Steelhead ordered without hesitation, waving the head in his hands even more rapidly. The long hair danced in the air like deadly tentacles, killing anything it touched as the necrocultivators retreated.

“You think you can leave?” Chor Chong Hoi sneered as his Black Dragon Claw sliced down onto Steelhead’s left calf!

“Evil old man!” Steelhead grimaced.

In a blink of an eye, the trio had made it back to the Chor Mansion’s entrance. However, many Chor Clan disciples and Southern elites had already arrived. They were surrounded with no way to escape.

“Take them down!”

“Necrocultivators deserve death!”

Countless elites surrounded the entire Chor Mansion, ready to kill the three trespassers!

“Hmph!” Suddenly, a sneer was heard. It was the sound of heaven for the trio.

Jet, Steelhead and Butterfly smiled. “Tribemaster!”

Chor Chong Hoi wore a serious expression.

“How dare you try to escape!”

With a shout, he emitted ink-like energliph from his body as both his skinny hands shot out. “Black Dragon Claw!”

This was Chor Chong Hoi’s full strength, a four-chambered glipher’s all-out attack!

The three necrocultivators who barely caught their breaths from the non-stop battling changed their expressions at this. Steelhead let out an eerie shout as blood flowed out of his mouth. The head grew in size while laughing creepily.

None of them were elite necrogliphists, but they all had unique skills. Jet was a skilled assassin who could kill every time he struck. Butterfly who specialised in search and destroy  acted as support to conceal them in their mission . In contrast, Steelhead was strong in a head-on fight.

He had discovered the huge skull in an ancient tomb. The skull’s owner had been dead for over a thousand years, but his body was just like new. He even witnessed maggots unable to bite through its skin.

This was a pleasant surprise to Steelhead. He embedded the skull into his wind chamber and continued to refine it into his treasure.
