Another corpse was added to the ground. Yeung Tin Hun waved his spear in the air, the blood from his spear splattering on the ground.

The spear was as shiny as before, without any hint of blood.

His grade four robe made of the four season silk had an amazing defence and wasn’t something a glipher like Kok Yeung could deal with. Furthermore, Yeung Ha had the grade one gliph weapon, Snow Glider, customised for him by a great master of the Blazing Skies Mountain because of his skill with spears.

It could be said that he had top-level gliphs, gliphility, equipment and so on for a one-chambered glipher. Adding on his experience from his past life, he could easily defeat Ho Yeung, who was just a normal two-chambered glipher.

“Hmph. You think you could get away, huh?” Yeung Tin Hun glanced in the direction the two survivors escaped as he felt the accomplices should also be punished.

“I doubt you can, though.” He chased after them, but only after a few steps, he could hear beasts roaring from behind. He even felt several waves of energliph. Colour drained from his face as he cursed to himself, “Give me a few more years and this won’t happen…”

He might have lived two lives, but his cultivation in his previous life, “dogmas”,  were unusable in this world. The only thing that he brought over were his physical skills. This meant that he had to learn how to fight all over again, and using gliphilities took time to get used to. He could defeat those one rank above him, but no more than that. At his current ability, he could only run when faced with a grade-three gliphic beast, even with all his equipment.

Death would be the only outcome if he met a grade-four beast. This thought made Yeung Tin Hun sneer coldly as he moved away from the gliphic beasts.

It was still snowing, but this wasn’t a big deal for Yeung Tin Hun. Not because of his strength or cultivation, but because of his four season silk robe that would adjust to the climate to keep him warm and comfortable.

Yeung Tin Hun was confident but not careless. Before arriving, he had familiarised himself with the Snowdrift Mountain Range, and he was sure that he was still on the periphery.

After an hour’s journey and the previous battle, he was feeling fatigued. Just then, he saw a spark from the corner of his eyes. It came from a cave.

Yeung Tin Hun was curious as he thought,  A companion?

There might be cultivators who came to adventure at the Snowdrift Mountain Range, but usually it was difficult to meet anyone else due to the snowstorm. As such, it was easy for Kok Yeung and his companions to hunt their victims secretly.

Brave and determined, Yeung Tin Hun made his way into the cave. He squeezed into the cave so as to escape the storm. He felt warmer instantly, and his mood rose. He saw a fire pit in the cave with another teenager sitting next to it. The teen originally had his eyes fixed on a rabbit he was barbecuing before turning to him immediately.

“Do you mind if I share the space temporarily to take shelter from the storm?”

The teen only nodded slowly after a short pause.

Yeung Tin Hun sat at the side of the pit. Despite having the four season silk robe to keep him warm, the warmth of a fire felt way better. After feeling warmer, he subconsciously felt hungry. At the same time, the rabbit was done roasting. Oil from the fat dripped onto the fire, making it grow bigger as the aroma of the meat spread throughout the cave.

“Rumble…”

Yeung Tin Hun’s stomach grumbled suddenly, but rather than feeling embarrassed, he merely chuckled. The teen opposite him remained silent but handed Yeung Tin Hun one of the rabbit legs.

Yeung Tin Hun ate it without hesitation and flashed a warm smile. “Thanks,” he said before digging in.

He received no reply from the teen who was enjoying his own meal. The meat was only seasoned with salt; rabbits that could survive in such a climate were usually as fast as most gliphic beasts, and their meat was extremely tender.

After their meal, Yeung Tin Hun sized up the teen before him. The teen had elegant movements, but what was weird was his contrasting bright red robe with purple blossoms emblazoned. The striking robe was a huge contrast from the silent youth wearing it, piquing Yeung Tin Hun’s interest.

“Thanks, brother. I’m Yeung Tin Hun. May I inquire you name?”

The name Yeung Tin Hun made the teen look up as he reminisced about something for a brief second. He spoke only after a few seconds, “My surname is Man. Yee Ho is my given name.”

Back at the South, South Imperial City, the residence in front of Wandering Son’s Lake.

Chui Yim sat opposite Kam Chin Kee. The vibe tonight was oddly harmonious for two acquaintances who had only met a month before. What was weirder were the looks in their eyes. It was as if they had found their long-lost sibling.

“So you are Flame, the best blacksmith on the Swallow Continent from Dark Flames City?”

“Hehe, you’re being too polite. I’ve heard much about Craftsman Kam. Oh, it was the Windy Sword Sage, Windy, who avenged you. I heard you carved patterns on his Breezy Sword, allowing it to store spirits.”

“So it’s brother Windy…”

Ever since they arrived in this world, the duo had to keep their actual identity a secret, which continually worried and stressed them. However, they could finally voice out and relieve their stress now that they had met someone alike. The duo chatted all night about their world of brawl energy and magic, criticising the powerful organisation known as the Ten Sacred Sorcerers which controlled the world, and how his brothers fought against it.

They were so excited that their faces flushed red. However, when Chui Yim mentioned his younger sister, Kam Chin Kee had a complex look and stayed silent for a good while.

“We died. Even though we somehow survived and met each other here, we died in that world,” Chui Yim lamented. “It’s a new life for us in this new world. The past is the past, and we have to look forward.”

“That’s right.” Kam Chin Kee nodded softly with a wide smile on his face. “I’m so glad to have met you. I’ll no longer be lonely.”

“We’ll be brothers from today onwards.” Chui Yim laughed heartily.

“So, can I move in now?” Kam Chin Kee asked jokingly.

Chui Yim replied happily as if he had found a confidant, “What are you saying? Treat this as your home! You can move in immediately after settling matters in the palace. The cold palace can’t be compared to a warm home!”

“I’ll go immediately.” Kam Chin Kee laughed joyously as he stood up.

“Go! I’ll prepare some wine for us!”

“Wait for me!” Kam Chin Kee laughed happily and sincerely; it was difficult to believe that such a reserved boy would smile so brightly.

Author’s Note: Every novel of mine is like a huge pie, and Night of Broken Gliph is a newly made pie that includes bits and pieces of the others, namely Game’s Dogma and Martial Summoner. I’ll only touch on the storylines without going deep into them as Night of Broken Gliph is a stand-alone. Readers that haven’t read the two other novels can still enjoy this novel to its fullest. But if you’ve read Game’s Dogma and Martial Summoner, you’ll be able to spot some familiar characters and easter eggs for you to connect with.

Visit and read more novel to help us update chapter quickly. Thank you so much!
