Chapter 3228 Free With Conditions

Note: There has been a mixed-up of city names in chapter 3226 (Current 3228), I had fixed it.

"…They were the resources I have got after risking my life hundreds of times, but the bastards wanted them cheaply."

"So, I rejected him with a few colorful words, but the next thing I know. I was suppressed by the Sovereigns and my things were confiscated. An hour later, I am in this cell," said Rone.

It had been three and a half days since I had ended up in these cells; I had taken a small break from working. So, I asked Rone how he ended up here and he was more than willing to tell me a story.

"Haven't you told them that?" I asked him. To which he smiled mirthlessly. "What good it will do? I heard that man is a son of someone important,"

"They will conduct their fake inquiries and will find me guilty. I am already preparing myself mentally to work in oxfowl mines." He said with sadness written all over his face.

While not all people from organizations are bad, many of them are, and one had to be careful in dealing with them.

"If you want, I can give you some mining tips," I said, and that brought a genuine laugh to his face. "I would really appreciate it," he replied.

I talked to him for a few more minutes before closing my eyes and entering my core.

There, I directly walked into the library and started working with my core, with four of my clones. Three months of captivity and most resources went had freed up my clones from most of the things they were doing.

Now, aside from one clone; all four of my clones are busy with the inheritance.

I want to finish it soon as possible. I want it to be ready. If I succeeded in breaking out of prison, I want to make a breakthrough as soon as possible.

I know I will have quite a strength when I made a breakthrough in Primary III.

Hun!

A few hours passed, when suddenly, I opened my eyes. As I sensed the presence near my cell.

I opened my eyes and saw the four-armed men standing in front of it. The same man who had put me into this cell.

"Come out," he said as he opened the door of my cell. "Am I free?" I asked, "No questions," he said sharply. I nodded and walked out of the cell, and followed behind him as he begins to walk.

"It was nice meeting you, Jordan," shouted Rone from behind, and I waved my hand.

I had to follow behind him for more than a minute before he opened the door and motioned me to enter inside. As I did, I found there is already someone sitting inside.

A middle-aged purple skin horned man.

As I saw him, my eyes widened a little. Even if he had contained his aura, I could tell his level, by the invisible weight, I am feeling around him.

He is an Earth Sovereign.

"Is he the one?" asked the Earth Sovereign. "Yes, Earth Sovereign Makarn," replied the fourth armed man.

The Earth Sovereign looked at me and I am thankful that he is not using his soul sense. I am currently showing myself a mid-Primary III and sensitive probing might reveal my level.

"Take a seat, human," he said and offered me a seat in front of him. "Thank you, Earth Sovereign," I said as sat.

I was in a small stone room, which had a stone table in the middle and three stone chairs. Despite one chair beside me being empty, the four-armed man remained standing by the door.

"I want you to describe everything you experience in the sacrifice temple. From the moment you got captured to the moment, you had escaped through the spatial rifts?" he asked.

"Yes, Earth Sovereign," I replied and begin.

I begin and I did not hide many things, especially did not change the story, even a bit from what I told to the Sovereigns before.

There are still a couple of flaws in my story. First is my name, which I am not worried about. Those bastards did not record our names. What I am worried about most is my face, which I did not get a chance to change it, and the spatial rifts through which I had escaped.

I don't know whether others have escaped or whether they have escaped or not, but I decided not to chase my escape story.

Sometimes, it is better to tell the truth than a lie.

It took me a few minutes to tell a whole story and the Earth Sovereign listened without interrupting even a second.

"You are telling the truth. Your story matched with what we have heard from other organizations related to the sacrificial temple in Haln." He said and got up before leaving the small room.

"So, you were telling the truth," said the four-armed man as he sat on the place where Earth Sovereign had been.

"So, I am free?" I asked him hopefully, but he smiled. "You are telling the truth, but it is also the truth that you have trespassed on our organization's private grounds, unintentionally as it may be," he said, and disappointment clouded my face.

"You don't have to be all disappointed. Since it is an unintentional mistake and you escaped from the harrowing tragedy, the higher-ups decided to show mercy to you."

Hearing that, my eyes lit up, and I looked at him hopefully.

"So instead of serving fifty years in jail or twenty years in an oxfowl mine. You will only serve five years in jail or two years in oxfowl mine," he said, and all the disappointment returned to my face.

It seemed like there was no other choice but to escape. Even two years too much; I have already spent too much time in jail, and I don't spend another day in it.

"There is another option; it could free you instantly if you accept," he said after a few seconds of intentional silence.

"What is it?" I asked eagerly.

"Our organization has come across the entry to the unknown ruin and there are vacancies for the first explorers," he said with a smile.

I really wanted to punch that face, but I controlled my emotions.

"Is it going to be dangerous?" I asked, to which he just looked at me.

Obviously, it is going to be dangerous. It is an unknown ruin, and we are going to be the first explorers.

"When do I have to enter it?" I asked. "Currently, we are in the process of opening it, but the organization is sure that we would succeed within a month."

"So, a month," he replied.

"Will I have to stay in prison till then?" I asked, and to my surprise, he shook his head. "No, we will release you, with few conditions," he said and took out the bracelet.

"We will leave you in an ardan district of the city. Where you will restrict to till the time of ruin opening and this bracelet is a guarantee that you will not break your promise," he said.

I will be exchanging one captivity for another, but the second one is a much better option.

"Fine," I said after a moment of silence.
