Tyrunt continued to roll on the ground until it finally came to a stop, the referee looked at Tyrunt and knew that it was out for good.
Referee "Tyrunt is unable to battle, Honedge wins, the winner of this battle is challenger Julian"
With the referee calling the result, the decision was done, Grant sighed, he didn't expect this, he thought he would be able to do much better, but like every other trainer that faced Julian, he lost just like them.
Grant then approached Julian and handed him over the Cliff Badge, Julian looked at the Cliff Badge, it was one of those badges that didn't look impressive at all, it was just made of three rectangle blocks connected forming a step-like pattern.
Julian took the badge and nodded his head, he bid his farewell and left, there was nothing here to do, both his pokemons got some experience during the battle and that was all that Julian needed.
Once he was out of the gym, he climbed down the mountain and headed back to his hotel room, his job here in Cyllage city is done so he doesn't need to stay here any longer.
He packed up his stuff and was ready to leave but before he did so, he checked the map to see his next destination.
After checking the map, he realized that this next destination will be Shalour city but before he gets there he will have to go through four towns that are between Cyllage and Shalour city.
He knew that it will take him quite a while before he reaches Shalour city, luckily for him, these three towns are close to each other so he wouldn't have to spend weeks on the road.
With everything set he left Cyllage city, there wasn't much here to make him stay behind anyway, on the road towards the next town, he trained his new pokemons and battled a lot of wild pokemons.
He didn't find any pokemons that he was interested in on the way but that didn't discourage him, his team is already big compared to his previous journey, he already has five pokemons right now and he is really not worried about catching any new pokemon for now.
He arrived at the first town called Calanthe town, he didn't stay here for much longer but he did stay here for two days to enjoy the scenery, the next town he came across was Brackish town.
Julian heard that this town is famous for its chocolate cakes so he knew he has to try several of them which can be found in bakeries all over the town.
He entered the town with a smile on his face, wondering how the cakes will taste, his pokemons also seem to be very excited when they heard about this cake from Julian, as soon as he entered the town he was greeted by something he didn't expect to see.
A huge board displayed an exhibition battle between the strongest trainer of this town called Magnus and the training being none other than Diantha, the Champion of Kalos.
Seeing this was a pleasant surprise but the exhibition match is a week from now, he wondered what he should do, putting the thought behind his head, he first found himself a hotel to stay at and then started to explore the town and its bakeries.
After tasting some of the very famous chocolate cakes that can be found in this town, Julian decided to stay for a week and leave after watching Diantha's battle.
It was not Diantha's battle that made him wait, it really didn't matter to him at all, he just needed a reason to stay behind and taste those delicious cakes on daily basis and Diantha gave him that reason.
He convinced himself that he is staying behind to watch the exhibition match but he didn't give two hoots about it, he just wanted to eat those cakes for as long as he could.
With the excuse set up, Julian did stay in this town for a while week enjoying those cakes, he had them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, he even had some between the three main meals.
Luckily he doesn't get fat, imagine eating four to five cakes for a whole week.
Even right now he is eating one is waiting for the exhibition match to start.
Julian 'No wonder most people in this town are fat'
Julian thought as he took another bite of that chocolate cake, even his pokemons were jealous of him because unlike him, they needed to mind their food intake and continuously train and exercise, they could only curse Julian inside their head as they watched Julian eat.
The exhibition battle was about to start so Julian made his way towards the stadium, though he was not that interested in this battle, he did learn a few things about today's exhibition battle, the trainer Diantha is facing is actually one of Kalos League winners.
Too bad for him, he never got to face Diantha as he couldn't get through the Elite Four, he got defeated by the very first Elite Four he challenged.
He made his way towards the stadium and when he got there, he saw a familiar face among the crowd.
