Chapter 146 Oorlewende Unit’s Mission

Arlan stared at the twenty people standing behind Tafari. All of them possessed intimidating auras akin to wild beasts. These guys were the super soldiers of the Legion Military Company. There were only 69 of them in the unit and their fighting prowess was almost on par with Conrad who was injected with the Body Enhancing Serum!

"You can speak to them freely in English, Mr. Roa. We've trained them for overseas missions so learning English is part of their daily routine." Tafari Zulu smiled.

Arlan nodded his head. "I believe you guys already heard about the details of your mission from Mr. Zulu, but let me say it again. The objective this time is to destroy the main base of the rebel group which is located in the Mindanao Region. There are over 800 soldiers stationed in the base and they are equipped with new firearms which they got from a local government official. We have already identified this official, but this isn't part of your mission. There is a separate force who will handle him."

Arlan turned his head to the side and gave a signal to Cedrick, an ex-military Major who worked alongside Karl in the Maharlika Special Forces. Both Karl and Conrad were in Japan to deal with the problem of Mazda so he asked Cedrick to stand in for them. There was still another military officer, a former Colonel of Maharlika Special Forces. His name was Gregorio de Leon. Arlan sent him to the arms company for added security.

Cedrick adjusted his glasses before he commanded his men. "Bring the weapons."

The soldiers behind Cedrick moved orderly as they grabbed a few wooden crates.

ραndαsnοvεl.cοm While they were moving the crates, Arlan said. "These are the equipment and weapons created by my weapon manufacturing company. You may use them for this mission."

The soldiers under Cedrick opened the crates, displaying an array of advanced weapons. The Cargonite Exoskeleton has already been created, but because of the complexity of the creation process, only a hundred pieces were made. There were also items like communicators, night-vision goggles, and many other important equipments.

Tafari narrowed his eyes when he saw the equipment. He didn't know that Arlan had his own weapon manufacturing company. "What are you guys waiting for? Mr. Roa said that you can use them." He said.

The soldiers of the Oorlewende Unit immediately moved after hearing his command.

Arlan furrowed his eyebrows when he saw this. The loyalty of these men was still in Tafari Zulu's hands.

When Tafari saw the change in Arlan's expression, he hurriedly explained. "Please don't mind them, Mr. Roa. They are trained to listen to my commands, but I will train them to obey you soon."

Arlan gave him a meaningful look as he muttered. "I look forward to it." He then waved his hand and left with Cedrick and his soldiers via car.

After they left, Tafari turned around and faced his men. "Starting today, the Oorlewende Unit has to follow Mr. Roa's commands! Do you understand?"

"Yes, sir!"

Tafari sensed Arlan's dissatisfaction earlier. He didn't want their cooperation to stop because of this matter so he had to discipline his men well. Arlan could now be considered as the company's owner so he had to satisfy him.

Cedrick took off his glasses and cleaned the lenses with a towel as he said. "Boss, are those people enough to complete the mission? There are only twenty of them. Even our country's special forces might not be able to do it."

Arlan glanced at him briefly before he turned his gaze to the scenery outside. "Don't underestimate those guys. According to Winter's report, the Legion Military Company trained them for ten years to become exceptional soldiers. They are the strongest unit under Tafari Zulu and there are only 69 of them in the company. However, each of them is almost as strong as Conrad."

Cedrick paused his movements when he heard this and raised his head to look at Arlan in shock. "That strong?"

Arlan nodded his head. "Although I haven't seen it myself, this is a report given by Winter so it shouldn't be wrong."

Cedrick put on his glasses and nodded in agreement. Winter was already known in their circle. She was the creator of the virtual reality world which gave them the opportunity to train their combat skills without having to worry about their safety. She was also the best hacker they knew and her information-gathering ability was something that everyone was even scared of. "If the information is from Miss Winter, it should be accurate. That means those guys are indeed the real deal. Just what kind of training did they go through to achieve that level of strength?"

Arlan shook his head. "It doesn't matter. The training in the virtual world is much better compared to the hellish training those guys went through. Our soldiers will be stronger than them in no time."

Cedrick chuckled as he adjusted his glasses. "You're right, boss. We will be stronger than them soon."

"By the way, I have something to give you." Arlan said as he took out something from his pocket. It was a vial of Body Enhancing Serum.

"That is..." Cedrick stared at the vial in confusion.

"Inside this vial is an enhancing formula that can strengthen your body. Haven't you wondered why Conrad suddenly became stronger? It's because of this." Arlan smiled as he explained.

Cedrick's eyes widened. "No wonder! I thought that guy was training more aggressively. It turns out that he actually got this from you, boss."

"Take it. Inject it into your body later. Just make sure that you are in a safe place if you want to use it. This thing is quite powerful and your body will be in extreme pain after injecting it." Arlan warned him before he handed the vial to Cedrick.

"Thank you, boss! I'll keep your words in mind." Cedrick replied joyfully. Conrad has been arrogant lately because of his increase in strength. He could finally put up a fight against Conrad if the guy challenges him again.
