"A group took him away to be treated. He received numerous bullet wounds just to ensure your son's safety." The police answered solemnly.

"Is that so?" Senator Manuel Chavez furrowed his eyebrows. From the police officer's tone, it seemed like their benefactor was in grave condition. "Can you get more details about that person? I'd like to pay him a visit."

"We'll investigate him for you, senator."

Senator Manuel stood up and said in an urgent tone. "Take me to my son first."

Arlan quickly drove their vehicle. In the backseat of the SUV, Krizia was bandaging Khalon's wounds to stop his bleeding.

Terrence and the others couldn't even bear to look at his wounds.

"I have bandaged your wounds, but you shouldn't move around so that you won't aggravate your wounds." Krizia muttered as she wiped the blood off her hands using a disinfectant.

Khalon didn't say anything and just nodded his head.

"Don't worry, Khalon. Winter sent a helicopter to pick us up." Arlan said while looking at them through the rearview mirror.

Soon, they arrived in a grass field where they saw a helicopter waiting for them.

A group of soldiers jumped out of the helicopter and brought a stretcher for Khalon. They then carefully tied him to the stretcher and carried him inside the helicopter.

"Terrence, we'll take our leave first. You guys should go back home. We'll meet again soon." Arlan said before he entered the helicopter with Krizia.

"You don't have to worry about us. We know our way here. You guys take care." Terrence replied.

After the helicopter flew, someone suddenly said. "I hope sir Khalon will survive."

"He will!" Terrence muttered while clenching his fists.

Khalon was taken to the mansion in Forbes Park to be treated by Winter. He was an Artificial Life Form so the hospitals might not be able to help him.

"I'll fix him up. Doctors, please come inside." Winter said before she brought Khalon inside her office. Doctor Mariano and the other two doctors followed them inside.

Arlan and Krizia watched the treatment process nervously.

Winter was the acting as the main doctor during the treatment, while the other three acted as her assistants.

"His bones..." Doctor Mariano and the other doctors were stunned when they saw Khalon's bones. What they saw was no human bone, but a piece of metal shaped like one! Everything about his body was different and this made them realize that Khalon might not be an ordinary human.

"Please keep this a secret, everyone." Arlan muttered with a solemn expression.

Krizia was also staring at Khalon in shock. 'Is he a cyborg?' She thought to herself.

"Of course! We promise that we won't tell anyone about this, Mr. Roa!"

After receiving emergency treatment, Winter asked the soldiers to place Khalon inside the Regeneration Capsule. Although his body was mostly comprised of artificial organs, she believed that the capsule could heal him.

Looking at Khalon who was submerged in the medical fluid, Arlan muttered coldly. "I want you to trace those bastards. They have to pay for this!"

"The rebel group who attacked the bar are now being pursued by the police and the military. I have tracked their main base." Winter said as she showed him the screen of the laptop. "They have over 800 soldiers in their main base. They are the elite soldiers of the rebel group and they are also equipped with new weapons. If you want to send our people to destroy them, there is no need to send a large group. That would only alert the government and the military."

Arlan frowned upon hearing this. "Which unit are you talking about?" He asked while looking at her.

"You should ask Tafari to send his Oorlewende Unit to destroy the main base of the rebels. I think twenty of them should be enough to complete this task." Winter said in a calm voice.

"Twenty?" Arlan couldn't believe his ears. Twenty people were enough to destroy a base with 800 soldiers? That was absolutely insane!

"Just do as I say. You'll know after you see them in action." Winter said while looking straight into his eyes.

"Fine." Arlan relented. He also wanted to see what kind of soldiers were in the Oorlewende Unit. "Krizia, contact Tafari and tell him about this."

"Yes, Mr. Roa!" Krizia grabbed her phone and contacted Tafari Zulu.

***

Ring! Ring! Ring!

Tafari grabbed his phone. "It's Miss Krizia!" He quickly answered the call after seeing who the caller was.

"Hello, Miss Krizia! How can I help you?" Tafari smiled as he respectfully spoke on the phone. Krizia was Arlan's assistant and that makes her the second in command in Arlan's sphere of influence.

Tafari didn't dare neglect her. It wouldn't bode well for the Legion Military Company if they unintentionally provoked Krizia.

When Tafari heard Krizia's words, his face slowly turned serious. "I understand, Miss Krizia. I'll send the Oorlewende Unit for this mission." He muttered as he put down his phone.

"Boss, why do you look so glum early in the morning?" Someone asked when he saw Tafari's grim face. It was rare to see their boss wearing this kind of expression.

Tafari took a seat and crossed his legs as he mumbled to himself. "How did they know about our Oorlewende Unit? Even in our company, only the high-ranking members are aware of their presence..."

"Boss, what do you mean?"Although Tafari's voice was not loud, his subordinates still heard him.

Tafari frowned as he shook his head. "Mr. Roa knows about the Oorlewende Unit and he sent a mission specifically for them."

"What?! How is that possible?! How did he know about our secret unit?!"

Tafari sighed as he leaned on his chair. "It seems like Mr. Roa is more powerful than we thought. He even knows about the greatest secret of our company... Go and call the base. Tell them to send twenty soldiers from the Oorlewende Unit to Maharlika." Tafari commanded while rubbing his temples.

"Yes, boss!"
