"Do I know it?"

Albion glanced at the dragon as it also stared back at him with a pleading look before he raised an eyebrow.

"It does seem a bit familiar…"

"Rao.."

The dragon gave a weak cry.

"Oi, you two! Who let the two of you in here?! It's dangerous! Please step away from the dragon!" Captain Nikolai warned them with a strict tone.

However, Albion casually glanced back at Captain Nikolai and said, "Dangerous? That is none of your concern."

"None of my concern? If a civilian gets harmed in my presence, the blame will fall on—"

Ding!

Albion's phone suddenly buzzed before he completely ignored Captain Nikolai to check his notification.

<You have a new message from Anya Seymour>

<Anya Seymour: Albion, there's big news! The peacekeeping forces are trying to kill the Silvercove Guardian! You went to check the commotion, right? I know you are quite strong, so you have to stop them! After all, dragons are revered creatures!>

After reading the message, Albion furrowed his brows and glanced back at the dragon again.

"Rao.."

The dragon tried to communicate.

"Master, I think it knows you," Fenriri mentioned while not understanding a single word but still able to understand the dragon's intention.

"Hm…"

Albion studied the dragon's appearance.

While it had the typical form of an eastern dragon, there was some resemblance to the ancient sea serpents he met at the bottom of the Ganymede Ocean if the dragon's four legs are removed.

Suddenly, a lightbulb lit up in Albion's head.

"Pompom?"

"Rao!"

The dragon responded with a hint of excitement as if Albion had called its name correctly.

But at the same time, there were some anxiety and apprehension mixed in its expression, which came as no surprise to Albion.

After all, Pompom was once beaten into submission by him.

"Hahaha, I see, I see. So you're the ancient sea serpent from back then," Albion patted the dragon's head merrily, causing its wince each time before he inspected its body and commented, "You've changed quite a bit, huh?"

"Rao…!"

The dragon grimaced as it continued to bleed profusely from its open wound, where one of its veins had been nicked by one of the peacekeeping soldiers' laser-based firearms.

"Oi, oi! Did you hear what I said? Don't ignore me—!"

"Wait, captain!"

As Captain Nikolai grew impatient with Albion, his informant suddenly stopped him, causing him to frown at the person.

"What is it?" Captain Nikolai gazed at his informant sternly and said, "I hope you have a good reason for stopping me."

"It's strange, don't you think, sir? The dragon went on a rampage after you tried to pat its head, but that person is patting its head just fine," the informant mentioned with a frown before speculating, "Perhaps, it—"

"It is getting tamed by that young man!" Captain Nikolai's eyes widened before he exclaimed, "That man is trying to steal our prey!"

After losing several men and running the risk of being condemned by the public, were they going to let some random young man reap the benefits of their efforts? How was that acceptable?

As such, Captain Nikolai's eyes turned red with rage before he roared furiously, "Stop that young man! I will bear the consequences if he dies!"

"But…"

"Do it!"

The peacekeeping soldiers hesitated but immediately fired their firearms at Albion after being pressured by Captain Nikolai.

Bang, bang, bang!

The peacekeeping soldiers quickly fired numerous rounds and laser beams at Albion's back before Fenriri cried, "Master, watch out!"

The temperature around Fenriri plummeted as she instinctively conjured large ice claws to block the shots for her master.

Alas, she could only shield one side before realizing it was too late to cover the other directions of the fired shots.

But before the bullets and laser beams could even touch them, the bullets and laser beams were quickly deflected by some invisible force.

Ping, ping—!

Sparks of scattered lights flew in all directions as a stray ray of scorching hot light shot past Captain Nikolai's face, searing his left cheek before the pain assaulted him.

"Ahh!"

Captain Nikolai retreated a few steps as he held his left cheek in pain before glaring at Albion's back in shock with the rest of the peacekeeping soldiers.

"W-What kind of power is this?! Telekinesis? How can it be so strong?!"

"Since when did the world have such a strong ability user that could block the Earth Federation's state-of-the-art weaponry with their special ability alone?"

"You must be another fool courting death to raise a hand against this Emperor," Albion threw a casual glance at Captain Nikolai before frowning at the oddity of his speech.

Nevertheless, it was only a passing thought.

"Normally, I would execute you on the spot for such insolence, but it seems my little friend here has a stomach full of anger that needs to be vented."

As Abion spoke, he pried the dragon's mouth open before tossing in a few high-level healing pills he found inside his Ashura Ring.

At the same time, he withdrew the Divine Protection of his True Immortal Body and slit his thumb with his nail before feeding the dragon some of his blood, which contains some regenerative properties.

Pompom's body began to glow subtly before its open wounds began to heal at a quick and observable rate. Then, within several breaths, the fleshly wounds were fully closed.

Strength quickly returned the dragon's body before Pompom stood up on its four limbs and gave a mighty roar to the heavens with its head raised.

Roar!!!

"Step back with me, Riri."

Albion calmly pulled Fenriri behind him before watching Pompom take several steps forward and glared hatefully at Captain Nikolai below with a towering presence.

An enormous pressure fell on Captain Nikolai's shoulders before he quickly realized the dragon had become even stronger than before.

No doubt, it had something to do with the young man.

Nevertheless, Captain Nikolai had no time to pay Albion any attention as he looked up at the hate-filled dragon with a bit of dread.

"Is it possible for us to reconcile—"

Before Captain Nikolai could finish speaking, Pompom raised its foot and stomped him into the ground with tremendous brute force.

Boom!

The ground ruptured under the dragon's strength, turning Captain Nikolai's body into a bloody paste as flat as pancakes.

Ding!
