The sound of gasping for breath could be heard from inside the room. Both of their bodies were sweaty, but they didn't mind touching each other.
They were still on Aiden's desk, while the scattered papers on the floor made it look like a storm had just passed through the room.
Aiden was still half on top of Anya's body, feeling the warmth that only he could get from his little wife.
Meanwhile, Anya's gaze looked dreamy from underneath him. She fell limply on Aiden's hard table, still immersed in the satisfaction Aiden gave her. The sensation made her eyes feel heavy and wanted to shut it right away.
Aiden was reluctant to separate from Anya, but he still lifted her body in the end. He used his arms so as not to injure Anya. He looked at his wife's face which was still dreamy as if she was in cloud nine.
His lips smiled faintly as he gently kissed Anya's lips.
He could see that his wife was exhausted from their 'extreme sports'. However, for some reason, seeing his wife like this made his passion come back!
Anya was like an addiction to him. No matter how many times they made love, it wouldn't be enough for Aiden.
If only he could be forever at home, in his bedroom, with Anya. No need to work, no need to eat, only Anya was all he needed.
Aiden shook his head at the thought of the fantasy that had suddenly appeared in his brain. He put all these thoughts away and carried Anya's body to take her back to their bedroom.
It seemed like he had gone crazy!
…
Anya could feel her body swinging gently in Aiden's arms, but she was too tired to open her eyes. All of her strength seemed to have been drained away and several parts of her body felt sore.
She buried her face in Aiden's arms while leaving her eyes closed. She took a deep breath and could smell her husband's distinctive scent. The scent made her calm and peaceful, sinking deeper into the sleepiness.
Aiden carried Anya back to their room. He laid Anya on the bed, then turned on the water in the bathtub.
Meanwhile, Anya curled up and closed her eyes, not wanting to get up again.
When he returned, Aiden smiled to see Anya lying on their bed...
Their previous fight seemed like never happened. Anya was still in his house, on his bed, by his side...
Aiden carried Anya and took her to the bathroom. Anya couldn't even keep her eyes open as Aiden cleaned her whole body. She just muttered softly and grumbled incoherently because her sleep was disturbed.
After she finished showering and returned to the room, she could see Aiden helping her dry her hair with a towel from between her eyes.
She really wanted to sleep! But Aiden didn't stop drying her hair. After that, her husband even took out a hairdryer which made her ears feel noisy.
She muttered incoherently and curled up, wanting to lie down.
"Don't sleep yet. You'll get sick if your hair is still wet," Aiden's hand brushed Anya's long hair and took care of it like he was taking care of a child.
"Aiden, I'm sleepy. Let me sleep! Don't be noisy!" Anya grumbled like a child. She was really tired, sleepy and wanted to sleep.
But Aiden still insisted on drying her hair...
Aiden chuckled at Anya's behavior. He kissed Anya's forehead gently and reduced the speed of the hair dryer so that it wasn't too noisy. "It will be finished soon," he said patiently.
He didn't mind spoiling Anya like this. Only Anya could get this kind of treatment from Aiden. And only Aiden could spoil Anya like this.
After a while, Aiden turned off the device. Anya immediately laid down and found a comfortable sleeping position after Aiden let her go.
Her hands reached out, looking for a bolster and hugged it tightly. Then, she muttered softly before sinking into her deep sleep. "Good night, my husband."
Aiden's eyes sparkled brightly when he heard that. His lips curved into a happy smile. He kissed Anya's forehead once again with a smile and said in a very soft voice, "Good night, my little wife."
Anya sank into deep sleep, while Aiden returned to the study and finished his pending work.
When he entered the study, he was shocked and just realized how much chaos he had made. His workspace was a total mess!
Aiden was a very neat and tidy person. He was accustomed to a tidy workplace and hated it when his things were scattered all over the place. Mainly because of his rudimentary eyesight.
He didn't want to spend time looking for the items he needed so he got used to arranging them neatly.
But somehow, he loved this mess. He shook his head. A smile appeared when remembering what had just happened in this place.
He also felt amazed with himself. Only Anya could drive him crazy like this!
In Aiden's eyes, this workspace was no longer the same as before...
...
Aiden sat at his desk and immediately finished all his pending work. After that, he leaned back in his chair, staring at the desk in front of him.
His mind returned to the memory of Anya lying on the table like a blooming rose waiting to be picked by him.
He had just parted ways for a while, but he really wanted to see his wife again. He missed Anya.
Was he really crazy?
He got up and left his study to return to his room. As he walked through the corridor, he got a phone call from Harris.
"Sir, what shall I do with this man?" asked Harris as soon as Aiden picked up the phone.
"Bring him back. I want to meet and interrogate him myself." Aiden said before hanging up the phone.
He returned to the room and turned on the night light so that the room was not completely dark. He could see his wife's small body curled up in the blanket and her hand that had previously hugged the bolster tightly was now tucked under her head.
Aiden sat on the edge of the bed, looking at Anya who was fast asleep.
Anya's long black hair looked contrasting against the white pillow. Her lips parted slightly, indicating that she was still fast asleep.
Aiden recalled everything Anya had told him. However, the man was no longer in Anya's memory.
Anya had forgotten it...
...
Anya once said, "My name is Anya. My mom and I both love white irises. Do you know the language of flowers? Iris means purity."
Anya once said, "Aiden, my family is very poor and has no money to pay the ransom. Can you help me and pay the ransom too? I will give all the flowers I planted to your family for an entire year."
Anya once said, "Aiden, if I can't get married in the future. If no man wants me, you must take responsibility."
…
Aiden's eyes fell on Anya who was still fast asleep.
He lifted his hand, stroking Anya's long hair gently. His eyes were filled with love and fear. Afraid that one day, he would lose the woman he loved...
He still remembered everything about Anya.
When they first met... And when they met again.
"Anya, I am willing to take responsibility. Don't ever leave me..." Aiden stroked the side of Anya's face with a very gentle look.
