The luxury yacht passed through the river next to the Arkhangelsk town and headed toward the port at the abandoned old city.
As soon as Viktor heard that there were 20 plus sky realm fighters in the town, he could not stop thinking about it. He was intrigued to know more about them despite the fact that this made him start to become anxious.
He was prompted to ask Jessie about it, and the girl answered that even if the mayor was able to hire more muscle, they could not and would never hire more than 5 sky realm mercenaries at a time. That was why the 20 sky realms were unlikely to be mercenaries hired by the mayor.
"Who are they then? Any theory?" Viktor asked in confusion.
"Nope, your guess is as good as mine.. Not many people ever come to this far north anymore, not when they start rebuilding the cities," the young lady explained in her response.
Since they had not found a definite answer, to be thorough, Viktor used the Djinn's scanning ability to scan all the others. As a result of this, he found that the number of village residents seemed to remain about the same.
Viktor was perplexed, but on the other hand, he also felt relieved. Apparently, there had been no significant change in the village. Hence, it should cross out the idea of the village being run over by a gang of bandits just like in many stories or movies.
As the yacht passed the town, unexpectedly, however, they started to see a few of the villager's guards in the distance waving hands at them.
Seeing this instantly gave them slight relief. Even though they had not met the 20 sky realms yet, at this point those 20 sky realms should not be coming for trouble.
Seconds later, in spite of the fact that Viktor was still wracking his brain for some theory, the yacht finally arrived at the port. The ship was docked, and right after, the group of 8 disembarked immediately and began walking toward the town.
On his way to the town, Viktor started to spot a few figures watching in the distance. Just by looking at their appearance, Viktor assumed that they must be the sky realm guests.
It had only taken them a few minutes to walk toward the gate of the village, and when they finally reached the gate, Roman was there waiting to welcome them.
"You have all returned safely.. That's good.. Welcome back!" Roman greeted Viktor with the companions.
Viktor responded with a smile. At the time being, his mind was still filled with the question about the sky realms, and because of it, Viktor was about to ask Roman about this matter. However, right before he was prompted to inquire, those he was about to ask abruptly came approaching the gate. All of them were wearing red army-like uniforms.
Along with the moment, Roman quickly stared at Viktor and said, "Viktor, these people are looking for you."
Hearing this, Viktor suddenly felt like a fool. "That's right, why didn't I think of this.." he murmured to himself.
Viktor quickly thought about turning around right away and was about to leave before the group in uniform approached him. However, something unexpectedly suddenly interrupted his step when he heard a familiar voice from among the incoming group.
"Young Master Viktor, I finally found you," said a man with a slightly raspy voice.
It wasn't just Viktor who was surprised to hear the voice, but his servant, Barry as well. It's because the old man who stood among the people in uniform was none other than Barry's father or Viktor The Romanov family's aid and butler.
"Old man Angus! What a surprise to see you here!"
The old man nodded with a smile on his face, and it seemed that all the men in red uniforms were his bodyguards as all of them were showing great respect to Viktor as well.
Angus was one of the Romanov family's trusted aides, and he worked as the family butler in charge of all the Romanov mansion needs. He was the one who convinced Viktor to enter the bunker and provided all his long list of requested necessities as long as Viktor let his son, Barry to join him.
The old man then stepped forward to approach Barry, and went on to say, "Son.. have you served the young master well?"
"Yes, father," the obeyed son answered firmly and in a polite manner.
"Very good."
Despite his calm personality, it appeared as though the old man was pleased with his son. He then shifted his attention to the other individuals among Viktor's companions. Apparently, the old man also recognized the two bodyguards, Torri and Boris, as he was involved in selecting them for guarding the bunker.
He also gave a welcoming gesture to Eva the princess. After that, he turned to face Viktor with an expectant gaze. Without further ado, he asked for Viktor's time for some talks.
With some capacity of trust in the old man, Viktor decided to follow him without questioning anything. Moreover, he also wished to hear more about the family.
The group entered the town, and Viktor realized that he was welcomed with more smiling faces than usual. At the time being, this town's residents apparently were more aware that Viktor was someone important. Consequently, from now on they started to look at him differently.
The fact that he was well-known and influential, the mayor even personally welcomed him and even provided him his town hall for Viktor and his party to have their talk.
Viktor was still half sure if these people were threatened or not, but knowing that the old man Angus character, he could at least tell that probably nothing bad happened.
Instead, on the way walking to the town hall, the mayor told him how these sky realms had been much help to protect the town in the last few days.
Moments later, they gathered in the town hall, and all of his companions were there to listen to the old man's stories.
Apparently, 3 weeks ago was the exact 2 years since they entered the bunker, and as scheduled, Angus and 20 men were sent to check on the bunker resident, and certainly their young master. This explained the reason why a number of sky realms abruptly came to the village.
Days after, they found the empty bunker and had been tracking news about it. It then led them to find plausible intel that Viktor headed toward the north, and was happy to find out that Viktor did come to the Arkhangelsk.
Afterall, Viktor did tell the mayor about him coming out from the bunker. It appeared that this old man was still sharp.
Knowing the fact that Viktor went away with the Arkhangelsk citizen and knowing about his seal skin armor product, the old man decided to wait for his return in this town, which in the end resulted in them meeting here.
"And here we are, finally meeting just after 5 days of waiting," said the old butler happily. However, the next sentence he was about to utter suddenly turned to be more serious. The old man looked Viktor in the eye and continued to say, "Young master, we are here to bring you back."
These words somehow instantly brought some excitement to his companion, yet, Viktor decided to have a private conversation with the old butler upon this matter. Afterward, he told everyone else to leave.
"What is it, young master? Do you not want to return home?" The old man inquired.
Viktor looked at the old butler with a serious face and asked in a hurry, "Seriously old man, what the hell happened? Why did my father just send people now!?"
pαпdα Йᴏνê|,сòМ "There was nothing going on master, I came here as ordered," answered the old man, keeping his calm composure.
The old butler was trying hard to hide it, yet Viktor, on the other hand, could easily know that the old man was definitely lying. He heaved a long sigh, and continued to say,
"If you don't want to share it, that's fine… I will find my way home myself when I am not busy. You and your bodyguards may leave."
When he heard Viktor's words just now, the old butler was taken aback. It appeared that he was troubled and therefore he said,
"I am sure you have realized by now how crazy the world is right now. Those two bodyguards are not enough to help you, you need a sky realm fighter at least.. Please sir, come home with us."
Seeing the butler was at the point of begging him, Viktor was smiling a little. It appeared that this old man had been fooled by his pendant and didn't realize his sky realm status.
"No... I will come home on my own terms…" Viktor said firmly.
Viktor's refusal to come home with the butler and his men caused him to feel troubled. Because of this, he had no other options and finally decided to tell him something in a whisper,
"Young Master, you really should return now.. Your father is dying."
