Not minding Noah and Jake's usual banter, which was now a norm among them, Lu Lian offered, "Let's head inside first. It must be tiring to travel this far."

"Then who asked you to build your love nest so far?" Jiang Yang commented while everyone followed the owner of the home.

Lu Lian offered him a teasing smile, "I will see where you build yours once you get married."

"Wherever Nicky wishes to," he replied, only to have Nicky turn her head to look at him. When did they talk about getting married? Jiang Yang looked back at her and said, "Don't tell me you don't plan to marry me after agreeing to date me. I won't allow that."

"When did I agree to date you?" she asked. "Isn't it a date already or why would you agree to come with me here. See everyone here is a couple," he looked at Lu Feng and An Tian, "As for them, consider them a couple as well. They are like an old married couple, sharing their loneliness."

"It was three of us Jiang Yang before you betrayed us the moment your woman was back," An Tian commented, "Threesome was much more fun." He glanced at Lu Feng, "Isn't it."

"If flirting leads to angering, I wonder how Lu Lijun is still standing by your side," Jiang Yang said as he raised a brow. She understood her brother's meaning. "Alright, do as you feel right."

They entered the grand drawing hall where servants welcomed them and brought drinks and refreshments. As they settled down on the sofa and chairs, they could not help but appreciate the beauty of the interiors of this mansion which was eye-catching not just from outside but inside as well. "No wonder you are the best architect we have," Jiang Yang said as she looked around. "He kept the best of him to design this lovenest of his while rest of his talent is left for the clients," Lu Feng commented and looked at Ming Rusheng, "Good job."

"I appreciate it because it is for my sister," Lu Lijun said as he looked at Lu Lian, "You deserve to get everything best."

"Aww, since when did my little brother learn to talk so sweetly, huh?" Lu Lian looked at Jiang Yuyan, "You are successfully melting this little iceberg."

"All those girls who tried to pursue him back in England, would die of shock if they saw him like this," Noah commented. "Those poor broken hearted girls."

"I am sure you must put your efforts in taking care of their broken hearts," An Tian commented as he looked at Noah. The guy smirked playfully, "Well, it's satisfying to take care of heart broken girls."

"Seems like you have fair share of fun," An Tian said while his gaze passed by Jake who had clenched his jaw. "What could I do when they wish me to comfort them? I can only go with flow," Noah said, playful glint in his eyes. "Those were some fun days. Now here it's getting boring."

"Why don't you let me show you the real fun?" Jake finally spoke. "You are not a girl."

"I am what you exactly want."

"You can dream."

"Or are you scared to have fun with me? You do not dare, do you?"

Noah kept his calm. "Don't try to provoke me. I am not interested in arguing with you." "Such a chicken," Jake frowned as he continued to drink the juice. Noah ignored him while others didn't know what to say. They looked at An Tian as if asking when would these two get along and finish torturing themselves and others. An Tian shrugged his shoulders as he answered their unspoken questions, "Don't look at me. I am not a god."

"Alright, how about I give you all a short tour of our home," Lu Lian offered. As if relieved, everyone stood up, not wanting to hear anymore of fighting between the two stubborn young men. "Where is LanLan?" Ming Rusheng asked. "She went to freshen up," Lu Lian answered. "She seemed tired. Brother Zac went with her."

With that everyone stood up, following the couple giving them a short trip to their grand residence.

"Will start with the first floor."

They walked towards the grand set of stairs in the Drawing room. The first floor was meant for the family with various rooms around and they went to the floor upstairs which had an entertainment area and gym and all other facilities available around the world. Another floor and then lastly they went to the top floor rooftop. It had an open terrace garden and even a large swimming pool. It was evening and everything seemed beautiful with the numerous lights lit around. Standing there the view of hills and night sky looked mesmerizing. Jiang Yuyan was looking at the beautiful view ahead. Lu Lijun stood next to her, "Is it reminding you of something?"

"The home Lu Qiang built for us has a similar view. We used to enjoy that peaceful view together, peacefully, no one to disturb us."

Lu Lijun put his hand around her shoulder and spoke, "Now you can enjoy it with me."

Jiang Yuyan nodded. "We will."

"I wished to get you another home but I believe you would not want to part with that home which has my brother's memories."

"You understand me well," she looked at him with a smile, "Even if it's the grandest place in the world one can offer to me, I would still want to stay in that home."

"I know," Lu Lijun offered her an assuring smile, "We will stay in that same home. I won't ever ask you to move to another place with me. Place doesn't matter to me as long as it's you who is with me. Moreover, I feel comfortable in that home as it still has traces of my brother's existence. I am glad you changed nothing."

She smiled back, "Thank you."

"Instead of words, I would allow you to express it through your actions once we return home."

She chuckled, "Always a pervert."

Everyone was busy admiring the view. Jiang Yang looked at Nicky who was also busy admiring the beautiful view and said, "I might not be able to give you such a grand home, but I promise to keep you happy."

Nicky looked at him, "This is beautiful because we are seeing it for the first time. Seeing it daily will lower its value. I do not fancy seeing this view daily. Instead I would go on a trip once in a while to enjoy such beauty."

Jiang Yang smiled playfully. "Are you saying you are fine with staying in my ordinary apartment?" "It was a generic statement. No need to overthink," she offered him a mocking glare, "The apartment you are calling ordinary, normal people would kill to get it. That's a luxury apartment doctor Jiang and not any ordinary one. If you call it ordinary, I can't fathom what you call luxury."

He chuckled, "Well, I am glad to see my wife would be happy with what I have."

"Must be a good woman," Nicky commented. "She definitely is," Jiang Yang smiled at her to which Nicky averted her gaze and resumed looking ahead. "I have made changes in my place. You might like to check it."

"You can call that wife of yours."

He smirked, "That's what I am doing."

She walked away from him and went to Lu Lian, who asked, "Argued with your mister right?"

"Now you do not start," Nicky spoke, "by the way, nice place."

"Thank you."

Meanwhile, at other side. "Ming Rushing, all your past mistakes are forgiven," Lu Feng spoke, "you made up for all that by making my sister the happiest woman."

Ming Rusheng could not retort this and said, "It's her who brings the best out of me."

"Lu Qiang must be relived to see her happy if he is seeing us from up there," Lu Feng looked at the starry sky, air of melancholy surrounding them. Ming Rusheng looked ahead towards the sky as well and said, "Lu Qiang, if you are seeing us. then rest assured. I promise you to take care of her. She would always be happy and I would never hurt her. I would love her with all have."

There was a silence for a while, that even An Tian could not say a word. Lu Lian who had heard them, came to Ming Rusheng and back hugged him, taking him by surprise.

When she let go of him, Ming Rusheng turned to face her. Her moist eyes looking at him. "Trust me, my brother must be happy for me, for us."

Ming Rusheng nodded and hugged her. Lu Lijun and Jiang Yuyan had also heard them. But Jiang Yuyan didn't go to them and instead kept her back at them, tears forming in her eyes. Lu Lijun hugged her and tried to comfort her. He knew no words could make up for the loss they had. Jake and Noah quietly looked at their friend. Though they were not the part of that hurting past, they could still feel the weight of that pain their friend felt and every one present here felt.
