"You want to capture the young of the dinosaurs? You want to tame freaking dinosaurs?" Myriad Arrows was shocked.
"No. Don't be ridiculous. Getting the Dinosaur's young and then trying to tame it, making it follow us, all of that can be done only if we have the rare Beast tamer class. And that is rarer than the Epic Class that you got your hands on." Jake shook his head.
"We will be taking their eggs. Once they hatch, its much easier to tame them. And its easier to store eggs, cause we can just put them in our inventory as we go outside the realm." Jake said.
"So we can put the eggs inside our inventories and leave the secret realm with those eggs? Isn't that genius? We can actually pull this off!" Myriad Arrows nodded.
"In retrospect, this is much better than the secret dungeon. This might be a much better reward. Getting even one proper dinosaur egg will give us a bigger profit than what you may lose when you die here. Just hope that when you DO die, the egg will not drop from your inventory." Jake said.
Myriad Arrows nodded.
"I know. Random items get dropped, and if we are lucky, nothing will get dropped. I know how games work." He said.
"Good then. Let us look around and see if we can get the eggs of a good attacking type monster." Jake said.
He tapped on the priest's necklace that he had bought in the auction a few days ago. It was a pity that he brought it with him. He brought it because he thought that he would be entering the secret dungeon, a place that he was absolutely sure that he would clear without a problem.
"Let us get going then. We have seven days to gather as many eggs as we can. And whatever you do, do not touch or go near any of the bigger monsters until the last day." Jake said.
"The last day?"
"The seventh day, after which we will be kicked out of the secret realm regardless of whether we find the exit or not. You remember, we are not allowed to exit the game as well right? We are not allowed to log out of this place. The moment we leave the secret realm, the realm will disappear and we will never know where it will appear again." Jake said.
"So why not try and take the big monsters' eggs? They are going to help us a little more right?" Myriad Arrows asked.
"Because once we take the eggs of say a t-rex, it is going to hunt us down until we drop that egg. These monsters are sentient for all purposes. We have to look at them like we look at normal people. They have vengeances, and it is better to offend the smaller monsters first and then slowly graduate to the bigger ones." Jake said.
"That makes sense. But is there a single dinosaur here that we could possibly defeat on our own? Is there a single monster here in our level?" Myriad Arrows asked.
And Jake's response was silence. Why? Because Jake was trying to get used to this new feeling that he had since coming to this world.
Ignorance.
But all of a sudden, out of nowhere, a low pitched swoosh came out of nowhere. And then, the sound of something growling, or rather, cooing, could be heard. This was a sound that no monster that they ever knew or faced made.
This was something new to them.
They looked down from the trees and saw that at the bottom of the trees, their arrival and already brought a few interested species.
There were razor like dinosaurs at the bottom. They were not normal dinosaurs though. It seems like the developers of the game added a nice twist to the game.
The dinosaurs had steel colored stripes all over their bodies. Stripes that no normal dinosaur would ever have.
Most interesting was their size. They were the size of a normal human, not that big, and certainly not too small.
And their red, metallic eyes stared at Jake and Myriad Arrows, waiting for them to come down.
But Jake was more interested in the HP bars next to the four dinosaurs waiting for both of them down there.
They were not that big. With twenty thousand HP points between all of them together, these dinosaurs weren't unbeatable.
"Looks like your words have been answered, Myriad Arrows. It looks like we have a chance to beat these dinosaurs here. Use your arrows and deal some damage while they still can't reach us." Jake said as he jumped off the branch.
He fell down straight on one of the dinosaurs, his sword cleanly striking its hide.
There was a giant clang, the clang of metal, but he could also feel the texture of a leathery skin. This was a combination of both.

It dealt a lot of damage, but damage had a cost. Jumping from such a high height took a little health out of Jake's own HP bar.
"I just hope that they are not cyborgs of some crazy NPC scientists or something. I want a good pet out of this for the guild." Jake hoped inside as he swung his sword once more.
All of the dinosaurs growled at him, looking at him with furious eyes.
And at this moment, Myriad Arrows came to his rescue. Arrows came hailing down from above, trying to strike down the dinosaurs.
And although these were just normal arrows, they dealt damage enough. The dinosaurs were conflicted. Myriad Arrows was drawing their aggrow now, and he was on top of the trees, where they couldn't reach.
Meanwhile, Jake took this wonderful opportunity to strike down these unsuspecting dinosaurs.
"Despairing Strike!"
"Slash of Hunger!"
"Despairing Strike!"
He attacked the dinosaurs in succession, each of them pushed away by his attacks.
