Chapter 5:

Layton couldn’t distinguish between illusion and reality at the moment as his consciousness was fading in and out all he could remember was her luscious lips, curvy body and the hot desire that raged through them, interestingly enough no matter how hard he tried he could never remember her face, all he could remember was silver fluttering around and blue eyes that seemed to glow with passion.

The day after, when he woke up he found himself in a dark gloomy room with strange equipment littered all over the room, at a corner significantly brighter than the rest of the room was a young man with black hair doing pushups, the light seemed to move toward that part of the room but as soon as it got closer the energy in the light seemed to be absorbed by the man making it dark, it was in this weird atmosphere while Layton looked entranced that the man had stopped and was looking straight at him.

The atmosphere was strangely silent for a moment, although in the situation Layton he was supposed to be nervous but strangely enough he wasn’t, he had a weird feeling he was safe.

Tilting his head Layton kept observing the man who was looking at him with a gleam of expectation in his eyes and suddenly his eyes widened with shock and amazement and observed Layton as if observing a rare animal. Observing this Layton frowned no one wanted to be stared at like a caged animal, immediately Layton noticed something was wrong, his mentality seemed to revert to that of a teenagers, it should be known that since he crossed Layton had always had the mindset of a 25 year old but now he seemed to have regained the overwhelming sense of wonder and curiosity he had too much of when he was a child, the only good thing was he hadn’t seemed to lose the cautiousness and observation ability he grown up to learn in his past life when experiencing the beating of society.

Solace watched his soon to be apprentice with interest, it was the first time he was going to be teaching someone and to be honest he was quite satisfied with the conditions of the boy, high dark elements affinity and even with that he still seemed to have a bright like innocence that was consistently absent in wizarding seeds with high dark affinity.

‘tch, as expected only the owl of destiny could know my preferences in choosing an apprentice and find someone who meets them all in such a short time, all those resources I paid weren’t a waste after all.... No way’.

Suddenly observing closely solace noticed the thick mist of fate that was about permeating on the boy’s body almost couldn’t hold back his surprise, no wonder he liked this kid at first sight they had both taken advantage of a destiny witch, solace still remembered the time he had started courting the owl of destiny, he still had shivers when he remembered the bad luck that haunted him whenever he had pestered her too much or made her annoyed, it was fate’s curse she called it using it as an excuse to never get close to anyone. it was only as he got stronger and the owl started to control her powers more precisely that those dark days reduced.

.....

But instead of bad luck his apprentice seemed to have gained favor of a witch of destiny and if he wasn’t mistaken those that had favor of a witch acquired new talents and fate always favored them.

Thinking about it now this was probably part of her plan to get him compensation, giving him an apprentice favored by fate to him a wizard who was once cursed by fate. ‘don’t think I’ll forgive you that easily Minerva’, solace thought with dissatisfaction.
