Going to the Weisse's mansion felt like a death sentence to Stacy, she didn't want to go anywhere near the location for obvious reasons but work dictated that she did and unlike a certain someone like Serena–someone has got to pay the bills.
Which was why it was a sudden surprise when she looked up and saw Lukas.
"Hey," he said.
"Hey, yourself." Stacy greeted him. She looked at her table and gestured to the contents on the table. "Want anything to drink? Everything's in the house tonight."
"Oh really? That's incredible. How generous of you." Lukas grinned and ran his fingers through his hair.
"I mean no." Stacy calmed down a little and sighed inwardly. "This place is sponsored by the Weisse family and everything's free, so drink as much as your wanton little heart desires, my friend."
"I'm already drinking up everything in sight–I mean ahem." Lukas coughed and cursed Theodore in the back of his mind. He was positive that he wasn't going to do anything and yet the first thing that left his mouth besides greetings was a flirt.
"I see… well, there's plenty of women around and you're looking good yourself." Stacy coughed slightly and averted herself.
"You're not going to lecture me about being loyal to Lily and Chaerin?"
Stacy sighed and rubbed her face. "Look, I didn't sign up to be your relationship counselor or anything. That's something you'd have to discuss with them okay? All of you have got to be good with it unless you want problems to occur."
ƥαṇdα- ηθνε|·ƈθm "Right, right." Lukas scratched his head. "I'm well aware of that, thanks to you."
"Good. Now will you actually be getting a drink or is there anything else I can get you?"
"I'd like some good blood please."
"Yeah you better take advantage of it. Shall I get you three glasses then?"
"Uh, I still need to look for them but yes please."
"Here you go, have a fun night." Stacy practically shoved them into his hands.

"Do you think he's gonna lay a hand on Lukas?" Chaerin's eyes narrowed as Lukas was pulled away by Theodore into the crowd.
"Hey, that's my cousin we're talking about." Lily frowned. "He's not gonna hurt Lukas… I've talked with him."
"Oh, so you're not exactly sure." Chaerin sighed and rubbed her hands. "You know what, I'll follow them–"
"Why do you always insist on following him around? Can't you give him a little more space?"
"Says the person who's been with him for more hours than me."
"We actually get some work done!"
"I never said anything about you guys doing anything else." Chaerin huffed and crossed her arms. She tried not to think about it, but it was a fair thing to realize. Lukas had needs and Lily was there.
Similar to how Chaerin was around after work hours.
"Can you please stop antagonizing me at every turn." Lily sighed and looked away. "I don't know why you keep on doing it."
"Hey, my question was because I was concerned for Lukas. Not everything has got to do with you, okay, Princess?" Chaerin frowned.
"You know what, if you're really concerned… I'll go look for my father. I think he'd be able to get my cousin off my back."
"Do you think that's a good idea?"
"Why wouldn't it be?" Lily shook her head and started to walk away.
Chaerin pursed her lips. "Fine, I'll just wait and stand here until Lukas comes around."
***
Lily had some trouble going through the crowd, it was hard to maneuver and she said 'excuse me' so many times that she was worried that she offended someone since they threw a glare at her.
Lawrence Tenebris' children weren't exactly that well known and he prided himself on keeping his children humble. It was something that she was proud of and that was why she did her best to navigate with grace into looking for her father.
Lily wasn't actually that worried.
She had faith–but maybe it was always just a teensy weensy safe to call her daddy, just in case.
Soon enough she found sight of him with a crowd. Lily smiled and started to walk into his direction but then suddenly bumped into someone else.
"Ah, my apologies." A young man nearly dropped the waiter's tray in his hand.
Lily caught it and smiled warmly. "No worries, it's my fault for not looking around. I was too focused on my father."
"Oh…" the young man looked distracted, his hair shielding his eyes.
"But ah yes, is this alcohol? My father loves these, can I take one?" Lily asked.
"Oh I was gonna serve it to the...councilor and his guests."
"Well, you're in luck because that's my father."
Lily grabbed a goblet and picked it up. "I'll go take it to him. Thank you for your service."
"I see, thank you." the young man bowed his head and then quickly made his way away.
Lily blinked but then didn't pay much heed as she picked up the goblet and took a small sniff. The blood that penetrated her nose made her eyes dilate as she gulped and took a sip.
Afterwards, she then hurriedly tried to make her way to the place where her father was standing. Lily didn't exactly feel guilty because she kind of did this when she was younger and wanted to try pure blood for the first time, but somehow she felt lightheaded right now.
The world around her started to turn narrow and blur.
Before she knew it, Lily started to sway and then as she passed through other Vampires, she bumped into someone and then fell down. Her body fell down the floor with a large thump.
The glass of blood shattered on the floor.
Lawrence Tenebris who had been busy with talking with the rest of the councilmen of the city of Lux suddenly looked around as if he felt something happening. His gaze scanned his environment and nothing seemed amiss until he saw a crowd gathering around someone.
"Oh dear."
"Wake up child."
Lawrence Tenebris was someone who didn't have to care about people who became too intoxicated with blood and fell asleep or passed out completely, but he wasn't similar to other council members.
The older Vampire cleared his throat and then made his way to the crowd.
