Was there ever a thing that the richest and most influential of people had their locations revealed? It made much more sense for them to be kept in a private and gated community.
However, fortunately for Lukas, or as he had expected as he held onto the leaflet in his hand. The Overlord Houses were something more of a celebrity treatment and thus were exposed.
"Or maybe it's got to do with the fact that they need to be reached out to, so that's why they're available most of the time." Lukas muttered.
He wove in the crowd of Nyx's bustling citizens that never seem to run out. While Lux had periods where people actually chose to stay at their homes, the same couldn't be said for Nyx.
It was actually starting to bother him a little bit that he glanced around the skyscrapers and the other tall buildings as an idea latched onto his head.
"Heroes method of watching their city, or at least traveling through their local neighborhood." Lukas said and eyed the nearest thing he could vault into.
"I do not understand what you're saying, but yes, there is a time where we should not crawl among with these people like ants. It's beneath us." Drusilla said to him.
Lukas rolled his eyes over that, as he leaped and got on top of a random street light. It was an unnecessary, and almost human exclusive structure, that it caught his eye and soon enough, Lukas jumped towards a local bakery building that was one-storey tall.
ƥαṇdαηθνε| It caught the eye of some passerby who were attentive enough to their surroundings.
"Oi! You're not supposed to do that!"
"Mommy, look! Someone's climbing up the buildings!"
"Is that a thief?"
"In a broad hour like this? That's crazy?"
"No, it's another one of those pesky brats vaulting everywhere!"
While Lukas hadn't seen anyone doing the same exact thing as he did, that he almost thought that he brought the idea of parkour into the Vampire Nightlife—that couldn't be further from the truth.
It was just more or less regulated.
"Call the Durands' officers!"
Lukas' ears pricked at the sound of those words and he couldn't help but feel a wave of exhilaration run through him. The reason why he originally got Vampire Nightlife? The reason why people started to play games in the first place?
It was to experience the thrill of being someone else. Of doing something else that you wouldn't normally do. And whether that was to indulge in your sexual fantasies or to perform outlandish crimes—whatever was your cup of tea?
You just did it.
Lukas knew that it was best that he wouldn't get captured, and yet he had some faith in the body that he was bestowed with. It was at least on par with Hunters, maybe even stronger since he had reached it without any proper training.
"Let's go." Lukas said to Drusilla and sped up. He reached the ledge of one building and then leaped towards the next one, clutching the leaflet in his hand.
He had already memorized it, his Vampire memory was amazing, but he still held it on for one purpose.
"Hey, you!" a uniformed Vampire had climbed up towards the top of the building and eyeing him wth menace.
"Passing through!" Lukas let the paper directly fly into the Vampire's face and went pass him without any hitches.
Even with his own natural speed however, it didn't mean that there was no one who could compete against him. And more than one Vampire started to pop up in the peripheral of his vision.
They started to close on him from all directions. He didn't think that it would be that big of a deal to run across buildings, but somehow it was.
Could he do something about it though?
"I've done it in a dream before, doesn't mean I can't do it here." Lukas burned through something within him and before the eyes of the Vampires, saw him flicker forward at a pace faster than before.
There was a shadowy blur, and then he was at least three paces further than he ought to have been. It was an incredible feeling, and Lukas knew that someone else would have done it better.

Truth be told, Lukas had actually done it better while he was stuck in Chaerin's dream and now knew that a great portion of it had been because of the fact that he had a better control of dreams than he thought.
"Seems like I have a natural aptitude for it." Lukas muttered to himself as he outran the group of Vampires.
It didn't take him too long to see a tall building, and if he didn't do things properly—he'd just go splat in it. Or maybe shatter the windows.
"Ahhh, man, I don't have the money to pay for it." Lukas complained and yet he saw that there were some people inside of the floor. "Well, I'm sure that they'll be able to pay for it, businesses got their own funds for emergencies so don't mind if I do."
Lukas leaped and then braced himself for the impact, the glass shattering around him as his body collided into the window. He landed in front of a Vampire man in a dark suit with silver hair alongside a beautiful Vampire lady with blue hair and golden eyes.
"H-huh?" Lukas stared at the girl, and was almost reminded of Serena, until her features changed into something more tense and an inner alarm bell rang within him.
"Er, sorry, gotta run." Lukas declared and dashed away from the two Vampires and went for the nearest staircase. He ran up the stairs like a mad man and headed for the rooftop.
"Do you know who they were?" Drusilla whispered into his ear.
"Not the time." Lukas said, the adrenaline again keeping him up to speed. "They're special, no doubt. But I'm in a special mess if I get caught."
