His name was Von Elias, but most knew him more by his family name Aurelius.
The Overlord's grandson.
Most of his identity revolved on who he was related to and that put a certain level of pressure on the young Vampire.
It was more or less taken with his head held up high, but there were times where he took it upon himself to do more.
The possibility of an Overlord governing everything in a city was impossible, but due to the presence of his relatives, and someone like Elias, as he liked to be referred to, it was easy to monitor and ensure the city inhabitant's well being.
"My apologies, Young Lord Aurelius." the head of the immigration bureau spoke. "There was such an influx of travelers today that we were unable to hastily accommodate them all."
"Is that so?" Elias rested on his sofa and glanced out of the glass window.
The office of the head overlooked most of its employees and he could see all of them working in their respective departments and even tiny cubicles.
"But we can assure you that this won't happen again–"
Elias tuned out the older Vampire's voice for a moment.
He had listened and heard all of the promises and swaying words that officers and department heads have spoken of–they had simply all grown too laxed.
It was why the visit from their superiors was necessary from time to time.
Elias was actually more distracted with what he had encountered during his time on the entrance of Nyx.
Truth be told, his grandfather was not the only 'Overlord' of Nyx, but he was the most influential one and thus the young Elias back then was familiar with the noble appearances of Vampires with purer bloodlines.
ƥαṇdα- ηθνε|·ƈθm It was how he managed to detect the strange but distinctively powerful aura.
And when he approached the line, he discovered two other auras that were so similar together that it might have just been one and put two and two together.
Elias recognized another noble bloodline, which was odd.
Normally, other Overlords and their genealogy would use their station and bypass the need for bureaucratic processes–but the two did nothing.
Elias wished he recognized them, but they refused to introduce themselves and then went away.
"That's something worth mentioning to my grandfather." Elias said.
The head of the bureau's eyes widened and he became greatly pleased.
"T-Thank you, Young Lord! It is an honor to be heard from you." he said.
Elias gave the man a cursory glance and resisted the urge to sigh, but then felt the strange tension in the air again. When he looked through the windows again, he came upon the sight of the group huddled together at one of the furthest cubicles.
Normally, that wasn't something allowed if they were going to receive passes.
Elias raised a brow meticulously and grinned slightly.
"Would you mind if I inspected some of your operation in action?" Elias asked politely, but he knew that the answer was going to be a resounding yes.

Stored in the database of Junia's computer was the name of all Vampires who've lived and visited Nyx City. It also stored other valuable data like the names of important and influential Houses from all the way back.
Junia's eyes widened and she stared at the two Vardokens.
"You two are…"
"Siblings? Yeah." Alexei shrugged and eyed Stacy with a dismissive look. "Same last name, but I get that she isn't much of a looker compared to me. Shocking, right?"
Stacy narrowed her eyes at her brother, knowing far too well that he was trying not to make a big deal out of it–except that it was.
Lukas and Theodore were mostly waiting for things to just play out, but a certain blond Vampire sauntered behind them with a smile.
"Who are these two individuals, Miss?" Elias asked.
"Dis Vardokens." Junia finally blurted out the word.
Theodore scowled, and Lukas tensed at the arrival of the new Vampire. He didn't know if pulling a stunt like pulling out the Sanguise House dagger was going to get them into any more trouble, but he'd be the first to defend the two siblings.
"Isn't that…" Elias blinked, searching his memory for a moment.
He furrowed his brows and looked at Stacy and Alexei questioningly.
"That House should be extinct." Elias said, finally remembering with a small frown. "Are the two of you trying to imposter a noble House? That makes sense to some certain extent and yet…"
Elias knew that there were people who liked to claim to be from another Vampire House, those who hid themselves with aliases and other reasons to lie, but the sense of 'knowing' that Elias felt was too strong to be false.
"Extinct?" Lukas' brows raised and he turned to Theodore.
Out of everyone in the group, he was the only one who hid secrets and once again, there was a look of indifference to his face. He actually knew something!
"Yes, records say that all members died during the Great War years ago." Elias said, his forehead creasing and also reading the atmosphere. "At least, that was what was reported to us from Lux. Does that mean that they've falsified their reports?"
Lukas realized why a second later.
The Vardokens were known as traitors, but this information was mostly centralized in Lux City and never delivered elsewhere.
'They're trying to hide it from other cities that there was some division between the Houses. It's probably to save face or still retain their pride.' Lukas thought. 'This is insane! It means that Stacy and Alexei are basically scot-free here.'
"Well?" Elias glanced at the group with a small frown.
"It was probably all a mistake, because we're still here." Alexei spoke up, before Theodore could.
"And yet that doesn't change much does it?" Theodore stared at Stacy.
Stacy glanced at Theodore and now understood why he made her promise about helping Lily.
This… this actually changed everything for them.
