Jake wasn't crazy enough to think that he had many options in such a scenario. Protecting the world was his mission if that ship was going to leave, then his task was almost complete. However, he disliked abandoning things when they were halfway done. So, he was going to get rid of all the enemies in the spaceship.
"Besides, monsters and other beings invaded Earth on my first life," Jake thought while he enhanced his sword with the dark flames. "I can't excuse my actions, but I can't ignore the fact that their attacks put me on this path. It is time to pay the bill…"
Jake hit the floor below him and began to melt it. It was a bit risky, but he didn't have the leisure to be careful now. He opened a hole big enough for himself, and when the air inside was getting thin, he summoned a crystal wolf. He couldn't think of any other way to close the hole, but it probably would be the best way to keep the hole sealed.
"Sorry, buddy, use some ice walls to close the hole," Jake said. "We can't let this thing suffocate us to death, and the radiation of space can also be a problem."
It wasn't the first time that Jake had been fighting robots, but he couldn't consider himself a specialist. So, he had no idea where to go, but the enemy probably didn't know how to deal with him. Also, beings that usually rely on tools like that aren't exactly strong, so Jake wasn't expecting much from them.
"That being said… a weakling wouldn't be able to build something like this without a brain and perhaps many years of hard work and knowledge. I have to stay on guard," Jake thought.
Jake could only see machines in all directions, they were all connected together, but he doubted that he would achieve much just by destroying them randomly. Also, it would be pretty cool to have a vehicle like that… If only he could learn how to pilot it in half an hour…
Although he expected to see some enemies along the way, Jake frowned since he didn't find any in a couple of minutes. The ship was pretty big, but it couldn't possibly be that big… after a while, Jake realized that the scenes around weren't charging, so he wondered if some magic had been employed to make him lose his sense of direction.
"I am not good at that kind of thing, but I should be able to take notice if an illusion was cast on a large area…" Jake thought. "Maybe the reason is something else."
Jake marked the floor with his sword, and he didn't notice any of the marks disappearing after a while. When he began to walk, he didn't find them ahead either. So, he assumed that the space inside the ship was just much larger than it was supposed to be.
After recalling a manga where humans were teleported to a spaceship that had a facility that compressed space inside it, Jake concluded that was supposed to be the case there. Still, he didn't think that magic was what made that possible in that ship, but technology. One heck of an advanced technology…
"It doesn't seem like this thing is returning to that world, so I can let loose and destroy everything here… once I find the enemy," Jake thought.
After walking around for three hours, Jake found a wall blocking his path. He tried to see if there was an entrance somewhere since he didn't want to alert the enemy, but he didn't find anything. Come to think of it. It was weird that the enemies didn't show up until now… they had the spearmen with them, after all. Even though they looked quite skinny and relied too much on the spear to scare the enemies…
Eventually, Jake made up his mind and decided to open a hole in the wall in front of him. He enhanced his sword with the dark flames, and then the wall began to melt with the power of the flames. Even though the materials used to build a spaceship were supposed to be resilient, in the end, they offered no resistance in front of the power of the flames.
That being said, even though the sword pierced and melted everything deeply, Jake didn't find the other side… that was one hell of a thick wall… Jake had to pierce around ten meters before he could hear something on the other side… It was the sound of sirens. One alarm was ringing beyond the wall.
"That was why I wanted to be stealthy…" Jake said.
When the hole was opened, Jake found a large city in front of himself. He was expecting to see something similar, but not something of that scale. The buildings around were all massively tall and completely made using the metallic parts of the ship. The lights inside were so good that it felt like the sun was there. It didn't look artificial in any shape or form… if Jake had seen giants inside it, then he would have felt like he was in that manga, but he didn't. When he saw some people, they were only as big as him, but they had some helmets on their heads, and they looked like those Jake used to enter the fame.
Those people moved away from him while screaming as if he was some sort of monster. He wasn't there to kill everyone, anyway, so it was fine. He only wanted to deal with the leader and make an example out of him.
Eventually, some tough-looking guards showed up. They didn't look in the least similar to the people Jake saw earlier. One of them was clearly a powerful goblin, another was an orc, and even a flying skeleton showed up. They all looked pretty strong, but Jake couldn't feel any bloodlust coming from them.
"Something is off…" Jake thought.
