Jake found himself standing in a long grassland… one that was on fire for whatever reason. The smoke made Jake cover his nostrils since it was too strong, and he quickly began to move since the visibility was pretty bad. Still, he began to run toward the origin of the fire, and it didn't take long for him to find a city being attacked by spearmen riding some green birds.
"Where are they coming from?" Jake wondered while looking at the sky and seeing those coming from the clouds.
Weirdly enough, the entire area was surrounded by clouds, so it was hard to tell what was beyond that. It didn't seem like a normal invasion, and it didn't seem like the criminals were behind that. After a long sigh, Jake ran toward it… he better have found some answers after this quest. Otherwise, he was going to get really pissed.
The city in the distance was pretty big and relatively well-developed. It made Jake recall England of the nineteenth century, considering the gray and the buildings around it. The place still had twenty meters tall walls that didn't help against flying enemies. Still, Jake had experience dealing with them, so once he approached, he jumped toward them without any hesitation.
Some Spearman noticed him, and their flying mounts opened their mouths and fired Thunder Arrows. Jake blocked them before reaching the first target. The enemy thrust his spear at his head, but Jake's swing cut him and the beast in half before the enemy could even complete the motion.

The spearmen didn't look strong, but their spears looked quite advanced. It made Jake recall some weapons in cyberpunk games due to their fissures around.
As expected, they were only low-level grunts… they were nothing against Jake. Their Lightning Arrows caused some damage, but not enough to paralyze him with their effects. Before the corpses could fall, Jake landed at the top of one of them and kicked with all his might, and approached the next enemy.
While the invaders were changing their focus toward Jake, he noticed some people below running away, while others were using crossbows to attack the enemies. They didn't know that the enemy of an enemy might be an ally, so some bolts still flew toward him.
"Geez… you guys are lucky that I don't feel motivated enough to pursue revenge against dumbasses," Jake said while protecting himself with his sword.
The enemies tried to move away from Jake, but they didn't succeed in pulling that off, even more so when they tried to fly backward without turning backward. Jake reached the enemies, and before they could even blink, three more pairs of enemies were split in half, and he soon chose his next targets.
The enemies were shouting something that Jake couldn't understand, and that was a first… come to think of it, he had never thought why he could communicate with aliens until now. Or maybe he thought about it. It was hard to tell, given that he had two sets of memories now.
It almost felt like Jake was flying around since he could move faster than the enemies. It took them a while to understand that wasn't the case. When they noticed that he was doing with only brute strength, they realized that they couldn't win against him… and began their retreat.
"At least resist for five damn minutes… I suppose they only managed to win this kind of fight because of the terrain and their ability to fly," Jake thought.
In any case, Jake couldn't fly, and he couldn't let them go. So, before he could fall, he approached the nearest enemy and then killed only the rider before landing on the top of the bird. The creature enveloped itself in an electric armor and caused some damage to him, but Jake stopped it by hitting the creature's head with his sword's hilt.
"Follow them," Jake said while pressing the neck of the creature.
In the end, falling was against the nature of all creatures that could fall, and returning to their nests was another one of their natures, so the monster began to fly. Still, the other enemies noticed Jake's approach and then turned around to bombard him with Lightning Arrows.
Jake moved his sword forward and began to spin it, forming a shield in front of him and the bird. He made the weapon spin so fast that he managed to block all the arrows that were moving faster than sound. Upon noticing that, the enemies kept attacking even more than before, hoping that Jake would fail eventually due to their proximity…
"Making me use this…" Jake said and clicked his tongue before creating a shuriken of dark flames and shooting at the enemies.
The dark flames shuriken almost instantly killed ten of those pairs of enemies and left the others speechless. Still, that only made Jake annoyed because of what happened next.

Since he obtained the power of all the sins, that happens. One sin works and then forces others to work as well. It was annoying since Jake didn't want to use the powers that he stole. It only made him feel more miserable. Justified or not, it didn't change the fact that he killed a lot of people before and even helped to speed up the doom of the human species. He could understand very well now the thoughts that he had before dying…
Still, the dark shuriken convinced the enemies to run away beyond the clouds, and Jake followed them. He buffed the speed of the bird, and thanks to it, he caught up with the others… only to see a massive flying ship beyond the clouds. As insane as it looked, it made Jake recall a robot dragon… a robot dragon that was like five kilometers long and ten wide.
"What the hell is going on here…" Jake thought. "Well, I suppose I have to defeat the guys there."
