When the time is 4:30 pm Japanese, Keenan and Jasmine relax in a garden located in the heart of Kyoto. They sat on a long red metal chair right under the cherry blossom tree with the flowers starting to fall causing the ground to be filled with those fallen pink flowers.
Such a sweet smile never faded from Jasmine's face, it made Keenan mesmerized and embraced her from the side while gazing at the beautiful panorama in front of them. Sometimes the wind blew and swept the flowers on the ground flying and the ones still on the tree trunks fell one by one, making the newlyweds feel like they were being showered with flowers.
"Do you like it?" Keenan asked as he turned his head to glance at Jasmine, who looked up at the falling flowers while holding her hands up.
"Love it so much, I never imagined I'd be here," answered Jasmine with such a sweet smile.
"I've seen a photo of this park on a friend's laptop and I didn't expect to be here with you which I never even imagined before," she continued while glancing at the surrounding panorama where many cherry blossom trees were planted neatly facing each other.
"Don't you have a laptop?" asked Keenan.
"No, you know that I don't have a phone," answered Jasmine with a faint smile imagining her life full of poverty and deprivation. "I borrow my friend's laptop every time I do my assignment. And she's the only friend who cares for me at a time when everyone is insulating me."
"Didn't mommy ever give you money to collect, so you could buy a phone or whatever you needed?" asked Keenan with pitying eyes on Jasmine who turned out to be very poor and unhappy.
Jasmine sighed then got up from the chair, she walked leisurely followed by Keenan who was waiting for her story. "Mommy always gives money but I refuse because it's money from selling young girls," she said as she walked casually.
"Then how do you get pocket money?" Keenan asked as he continued to follow Jasmine.
"I do a friend's assignment and sometimes teach as private tutors to elementary school kids," answered Jasmine.
"Are you a teacher?"
"Just teaching."
"That's all you get money from?" asked Keenan in surprise.
"Yeah," said Jasmine, as she continued to enjoy the view. Sometimes she embraced her own body because of the cold wind. She forgot not to bring thick clothes and only wore a pink knee-length dress combined with a white top and let her hair flow beautifully and fly in the wind.
Keenan stared at Jasmine with pity, then walked back to her at a brisk pace. He immediately pulled his wife's waist so that he turned and looked at each other with his forehead pressed against his wife's forehead.
"Sweetheart, stay with me and I won't let your lack anymore," Keenan exclaimed then hugged Jasmine affectionately and kissed her hair.
"I was lucky to be found you at that time, you changed everything," replied Jasmine, burying her face in Keenan's chest.
"I'm also lucky to find you and help you. Now I understand why we met because God wants to make us complete each other," said Keenan then released his hug to Jasmine.
Jasmine smiled and nodded then pulled Keenan back to sit on the chairs that are also available under each tree. "Where are we going after this?"
"Looking for food may be, we haven't eaten since we just arrived," replied Keenan with a raised eyebrow.
Jasmine nodded in agreement then reached into her dress pocket to take out the smartphone that Keenan had bought for her. She pressed the camera button on the phone then reached out and pointed the camera at her face as well as Keenan.
"Smile," said Jasmine.
Keenan smiled as he embraced Jasmine from the side and looked at the camera. Occasionally he also kisses her forehead, cheeks, lips, and hair while being photographed several times by Jasmine holding the smartphone that is still active on the camera.
"It must have been great," Jasmine mumbled as she looked at the shots. She chuckled when Keenan posed less than her, but it left a funny impression instead.
Keenan smiled when he saw the photo then thought about asking Jasmine to dance under the cherry blossom tree because the atmosphere was so romantic and not too crowded. There were only a handful of young couples who came to visit still wearing their school uniforms.
Keenan reached into his trouser pocket to take out his smartphone, then he played Ed Sheeran's song perfect and put the phone on the chair.
"Honey, come dance with me," said Keenan as he got up from the chair.
"No, I'm shy," said Jasmine, shaking her head and frowning.
"Don't be shy, no one knows us here," Keenan exclaimed then extended his hand to Jasmine. "Come on, I want to be like in a romantic movie."
Jasmine was silent, glancing at Keenan, who looked like a spoiled pleading child asking for a snack from his mother. She smiled fondly at her husband and immediately got up to accept his outstretched hand.
Keenan smiled in relief and immediately got into a dancing position by wrapping his arms around Jashmine's waist while Jasmine wrapped her arms around Keenan's neck. They began to dance while accompanied by music from Keenan's cellphone which was still playing Ed Sheeran's song.
"They're watching us," Jasmine mumbled with a sweet smile glancing at a few young couples passing by and looking at them.
"Let's just pretend it's just the two of us," Keenan exclaimed then pushed Jasmine so far apart with one hand still holding on to each other.
Jasmine spun around until she was back in a position close to Keenan until her shoulders were against Keenan's chest, then she spun away again and back again. Slowly the wind blew hard making the flowers fall on the newlyweds who were dancing with smiles that never faded from their faces.
Until a few moments, they dance and the song changes up to three times.
Krugg... Krugg...
"I heard something," Jasmine mumbled.
"Your hearing that, but I have to admit that I'm so hungry that I can't stop my stomach from growling," said Keenan with a shy smile.
Jasmine chuckled and kissed Keenan's cheek because he was handsome and adorable, she immediately pulled her husband to walk back to their rental car which was parked in the available parking lot in the park.
"We'd better eat now, or our honeymoon will be messed up because you're sick from eating late," she said.
"Okay, but you also have to give me a special dinner after this," Keenan replied with a mischievous smile.
"What kind of dinner was that?" she asked.
Keenan lowered his face to Jasmine's ear as he replied, "Dinner in bed."
Instantly Jasmine put a smile on her lips with her face as if it was hot after hearing Keenan's whisper. "Aren't you bored?"
"Even if there's no one or my veins are broken, I'll make love to you right here," Keenan confirmed then stopped Jasmine's steps. He immediately kissed his wife on the lips aggressively without giving her a chance to refuse.
Jasmine was silent receiving Keenan's kiss, she seemed weak and didn't care that some people were watching her making out with her husband.
