[The Void broke open, and the first Veil was given birth to.]
Dilan stared blankly at the seemingly incomplete notification in front of him. No thought flashed through his mind and he had no idea what was going to happen now.
Dilan didn't know whether others received the same notification, or if he was the only one because of his Divine Occupation and the fact that he was a Fate Changer.
He stared at the message for almost half an hour before he cursed out loud.
"What the hell is this bullshit?! Give me more information you darn system!!"
His voice was filled with anger. He had a hard time controlling the killing intent that oozed out of his body.
The flying island began to tremble under the immense pressure he unleashed and the windows in his proximity burst open.
Several human Demi Gods and Essence Angels appeared near him in just moments, their eyes filled with confusion.
This was the answer to one of his doubts… They didn't know about the notification he just received…
ραпdα Йᴏνêl(сòm) Taking a deep breath, Dilan tried to control his raging emotions. He closed his eyes and retracted his killing intent.
After a while, he opened his eyes once again.
"Tell Ariel that it happened."
Dilan spoke to one of the Demi God Elite Angels who had arrived in his proximity, and the Angel couldn't help but shiver when he saw the serious expression in his eyes and the blazing flames that seemed to ooze out of his eyesockets.
The Elite Angel felt like he was about to be killed at any moment…but he couldn't help but ask,
"That? What exactly happened?"
"...Ariel will understand…go now."
Dilan's voice didn't sound like he was ordering the Elite Angel but he still rushed through the city of the flying island as fast as he could to get to Ariel Silvertale.
As for the others, they stared at him without saying a word. The moment Dilan released his killing intent while looking at the black system notification that had appeared in front of him one could tell that something bad happened.
A few additional notifications were hidden from the black system notification, one of them being golden, but nobody dared to speak out in front of Dilan, not right now when Dilan had problems controlling his emotions.
"Gather all Demi Gods and those above as well. Looks like trouble is approaching us much faster than expected…"
He sounded weak but nobody dared to disobey his command. Everyone rushed through the flying island, they gathered all Demi Gods and the few Lesser Gods who were currently on the flying island.
They were Essence Angels but that didn't matter right now.
When everyone was gathered in the cafeteria of the flying island's palace, Dilan couldn't help but sigh deeply.
There were close to 200 Demi Gods in the cafeteria that had been emptied. There were more human Demi Gods than Essence Angels but that was only obvious. There were far more Angel Demi Gods who were currently somewhere else than the only territory of the human race.
But someone's race didn't matter when it came to the bitter revelation Dilan was about to make.
Everyone was looking at him, not because he was the one who ordered them to gather but because of his ice-cold expression that was basically overflowing with seriousness and anger.
He didn't say a word and shared the black system notification he received not too long ago.
It disappeared in front of his eyes and was manifested in the air above him, expanded several times, and was visible to everyone in the room.
Dilan didn't know what to say. For a moment, he felt lost.
It was expected that the cracks in the Void would burst open in a few decades, maybe even centuries…not months…
The appearance of the first Veil might not indicate that other Veils would be given birth to in the next few months or even years but it was the start of something that shouldn't have happened yet…the first Veilures would soon be able to emerge in the Universe. Maybe they already did!
Veilures were stronger than Ascenders and Originals at the same rank. That was rather frustrating, yet, it was good to know that not only God-like Veilures existed.
In fact, newborn Veils wouldn't be strong enough to allow high-ranked Veilures to emerge in the Universe. It would take a while before the newborn Veil would grow.
But the exact period, until a Godly Veilure could emerge in the Universe, was not known either.
It might take days, weeks, months, or even years. Dilan hoped for the latter but his hopes were usually crushed in these regards.
"...What…are we supposed to do now?" A Demi God Elite Angel asked, her voice quivering.
Dilan looked over to her, pity gleaming in his eyes. He wanted to say something, but it was Ben, who came first.
"If you act like this, you're definitely going to die!" Ben said, his voice thundering in the Elite Angel's ears, "We will have to become stronger even faster, build up a strong defense, and cut down the Veilures the moment they emerged from the Veil!!"
Ben's voice rumbled through the entire cafeteria, and Dilan couldn't help but start smiling faintly.
Ben was one of the Demi Gods with the fastest growth in the last 12 months. He made a complete turnover since he joined the Undying Group and he was likely to be one of the first Ascenders to become a Lesser God.
His control of the Blood Aura and the Berserk Intent were already close to reaching the threshold required to create a faux Divinity with both the Blood Aura and the Berserk Intent as its main ingredients.
Many human Demi Gods made use of the Primordial Ascension's system since they were Tierless. The system gave them the opportunity to pick one of the occupations that were the most suitable according to their character and the proficiency at which they used their abilities. Since the day they picked their occupation and the abilities suitable for their occupation, human Ascenders were slowly taught the ways to become True Gods.
Most might never become True Gods but they were led down the path of true gods. Whether they would do something with the path they were shown was a different matter. Some were not strong enough, others were simply not mentally strong enough.
But those who reached the fifth Tier while picking the hardest difficulties in the advancement missions were usually different. They were not certain to become True Gods, but with the right guidance it was only a matter of time and effort until they would become the first well-nourished Gods of this generation's Primordial Ascension would be born.
The progress of those awoken with the Primordial Ascension system after their path toward godhood had already started was bound to be different than those who grew up with the system's support.
That was only obvious and it was one of the reasons why many races wanted their children to start their journey toward godhood with the Primordial Ascension's system.
And that was also why the Undying Group was bound to give birth to dozens of Lesser Gods in the near future.
The big question was only if they had so much time!?
