A powerful suctioning force encompassed the entire Sun once Dilan finished his preparations.
He had finally advanced to the fifth Tier and his gamble had paid off as well. The vigorously flickering flame within his Divine Essence Crystal was the proof!
Dilan unleashed the strongest form of the Perfect Essence Cultivation technique by turning his existence into the eye of the storm, the center of the suctioning force.
A massive amount of mana, Essence, Sun Essence, and blazing flames was pulled toward him where they swirled around.
Dilan's body naturally absorbed the mana which it used up to supply his Origin ability, while the rest entered his body to pave a way straight to his Divine Essence Crystal.
The blazing flames shrouded the corporeal yet formless Sun Essence that forced itself into Dilan's body and the Divine Essence Crystal. Inside his Essence crystal, the Sun Essence was devoured in an instant while the flames seemed to disperse into thin air.
The only thing that was left behind was a pulsating flame that seemed to grow whenever more Sun Essence and blazing flames entered the Divine Essence Crystal. However, the moment either the Sun Essence or the blazing flames were devoured, the tiny flame would stop flickering as vigorously as before.
It would calm down and nourish its body with the Essence and the energy of the heat it had just devoured.
That way it would become stronger and stronger without any restrictions. It was as if the miniature flame didn't have any limitations…and that was somehow true…after all, it could grow endlessly and attain the Power of the Sun!
This was one of the things Dilan wanted to make happen. He didn't expect that his plan would work out that well because it hadn't been the most important part of his priority list when he prepared to destroy the Sun Divinity Staff.
The most important for him had been to absorb every last bit of Essence from the fully unsealed sun before leaving behind everything in the Gate Prison.
That was why he chose to enter the Gate Prison, to begin with, to have enough space that nobody needed and where one could release and abandon something as humongous as the Sun.
The burning star was only a small sun, if one could consider something as humongous as the sun small but it was still a sun.
The Power of the Sun was tremendous and given the opportunity to devour everything and not just the Essences, Dilan was unwilling to give up.
He didn't see a reason why someone like him, an Undying person, should give up attempting to devour the entire Sun as long as the possibility was unveiled in front of him, either way!
Dilan was ready to take every opportunity to attain more strength and get his hands on the Power of the Sun, something that not even a Lesser God could wield, was certainly included!
The Sun God had been extremely weak and unfitting of the title of a Lesser God, but one had to acknowledge that it was still a great achievement for someone like that to get his hands on a burning star and to seal it before turning it into a sealed faux Divinity.
However, what Dilan was trying to do was different. He didn't want to devour the Sun and turn it into a sealed faux Divinity.
On the contrary, he wanted to retain the whole prowess of the Sun, and be able to unleash it without any restrictions.
Yet, to be able to do something like that, he was supposed to be a Lesser God, at the bare minimum!
But who was Dilan to care about something as mundane as the Tier, or rank one was supposed to be?
He didn't care about that, at all!
With an unbreakable will, he continued to exert the Perfect Essence Cultivation technique. Time passed quickly and the storm of essences and fire that formed around him was getting denser and denser.
As time passed, Dilan died over and over again, and just like before, he improved with every death. His death had a purpose, the purpose to find out how much he improved every single time he died, and to gain better control of his powers.
Dilan was testing the new limits of his body, the changes he underwent after becoming a Demi God, and how much stronger he was getting by absorbing the entire essence of the sun.
Would he be able to fill his Essence Crystal to half, or would most Essence be used to nourish the small flame inside his Divine Essence Crystal?
Dilan didn't know and he would find out the answer once the entire Sun would be in his possession.
pAn,Da n<0,>v,e1 He wouldn't leave anything behind, not now that he felt the blazing flame that was nourished inside his Divine Essence Crystal.
Taking a deep breath in the midst of the inferno he created with the exertion of the Perfect Essence Cultivation technique, Dilan tried to control the small flame that habituated inside his Divine Essence Crystal.
However, that posed a much bigger problem than expected because his vision went dark the moment he tried to will the flame to follow his commands.
He died…
His vision returned to him just a moment after it went dark but the pain was still fresh.
It was quite scary, yet, it shouldn't have been something that astonished him. Wasn't it obvious that the flame created and strengthened by the Power of the Sun was not something he could easily handle?
Dilan could already be glad that he didn't die that often anymore. His life and death circle had been prolonged and the blazing flames of the sun weren't as burdensome as before.
Now the only trouble was the lava and magma that covered the entire burning star. The temperature of the lava and magma and the damage they could cause was on a completely different level from the flames on the outside of the burning star.
Nonetheless, Dilan never gave up and he kept absorbing everything, until the last bit.
He considered himself greedy for a reason, after all!
