While Dilan made his way to the Orc Tower, everyone else was doing their utmost to fight against the mighty army of Blood Orcs.
Siegfried, Rory, and Yvonne had it the easiest, by far, but they gave their best to obliterate the tens of thousands of Blood Orc Warriors as quickly as possible.
They didn't show any mercy…why should they be bothered?
Siegfried shrouded his entire body in blue armor before the second layer of protection engulfed his entire being. Lightning currents oozed out all over his body. They formed a crude net and slowly shaped into a knit-tight armor, enhancing Siegfried's agility and the lethality of his attacks.
A long spear appeared in his hands and the head of a dragon formed on the 30-centimeter-long blade. The dragon head was made out of lightning currents and it roared out in pride and anger, seemingly ready to devour all opponents that dared to obstruct its path.
Siegfried smiled behind the cover of the lightning mask and he burst forward, starting the slaughter feast on his side.
His performance was remarkable, he killed all kinds of Blood Orc Warriors, no matter their. One opponent fell to his feet after another. It was almost as if they couldn't do anything against the terrific might Siegfried had unleashed.
However, rather than being the most excellent fighter, his performance seemed to turn into something comparable to an entertainment show for kids when Yvonne's Army of the Undead butchered more than a hundred Blood Orc Warriors every second that passed.
Yvonne's Army of the Undead was to Siegfried's right, and they took away all the opponents he wanted to fight. He slaughtered as many as possible and felt the pressure weighing on him as he noticed that his strength was just a drop in the ocean compared to Yvonne's power.
She was not only in charge of the Army of the Undead but she strengthened her Undeads while also fighting in the first row. Yvonne didn't leave her Undeads behind just because they were dead and unable to feel any pain.
She was ready to fight with her life on the line as long as that meant the fight would end just a tad faster. Her mindset was enough for the flickering flame in Siegfried's heart to be set ablaze once again.
He found motivation and unbreakable determination looking at his aunts and uncles. They were always giving their best, for themselves, but also to make sure that those important to them would be granted a better life.
Siegfried loved this family and he wanted to give them something back. He witnessed how much everyone had sacrificed…they suffered more than anyone could imagine, but they were never really rewarded.
It was time for him to return the favor, become stronger, and make sure that every single one of his uncles, aunts, and his parents would be able to live a glorious, and most importantly, peaceful life.
With the goals burning brightly in his heart, Siegfried began to release more and more mana. His Blessing and Origin ability reacted drastically to his wishes, they released more power inside his body, granting him more insights about the element of thunder and lightning, and a strong affinity toward mana.
Another layer was added to the thunder armor and the dragon head at the top of his spear was growing in sight. It roared out loud when Siegfried unleashed it to kill dozens of Blood Orc Warriors at the same time.
Yet, it was just at this moment that Rory's humongous body soared over the battlefield on the left. She released her dragon breath and reaped the lives of thousands of Blood Orc Warriors at once. She burned down the settlement and landed on the ground, where she tore everything apart, no matter what it was.
They didn't have any time to waste having mercy on their opponents, and even if they had, there was no need to show mercy to their opponents. The moment he would show mercy, their lives would be on the line. It only took one mistake, no matter how small, and they, or even worse, one of their comrades might lose their life!
Rory turned into the incarnation of a merciless slaughterer. She demonstrated to every living being in the proximity why it was the biggest mistake to anger a True Dragon, a Mythical Creature, and the Sovereign of the Sky!
She released her most terrifying weapon, her dragon breath, and extinguished the lives of another batch of thousands of Blood Orc Warriors.
Her power was unfathomable, nobody was able to survive her flames, let alone fight against them.
"Amazing…" Siegfried could only mumble, recalling once again what kind of monstrous existences his family was consistent of.
And it was just a second later when his jaw dropped to the ground as two bolts of crimson lighting shot high into the air. The Origin of the bolts of lightning was not too far away, but that was not why Siegfried was so baffled.
"He is already done? Where do you think he will go, Yvonne?" Rory's voice resounded through their small battlefield as the Red Dragon opened her huge maw widely
A third flame emerged from her maw, but it was a much stronger and larger flame than the first two had been.
Rory was getting impatient, not without reason at that.
"Isn't that obvious? He will charge to the tower, of course!" Yvonne shouted out loud before she soared in the sky with her black feathered wings that began to shine in a hollow and eerie dark gleam.
"I doubt that he would allow any of the Blood Orc Shamans to escape…that can only mean there weren't a hundred Blood orc Shamans where he ended up…and now he is catching the remaining Shamans, while fighting the Apostles, of course!"
Yvonne had a grim smile on her face but it was obvious that she was not joking.
Conviction gleamed in her eyes, and oddly enough, Siegfried could fully understand aunt Yvonne.
He also thought that Dilan was on his way to the Orc Tower.
However, as for his reasoning, he felt that Dilan was just way too excited to fight.
