While the others shot out of hiding, Dilan exerted the second stage of the Zephy Step movement technique.
His speed increased drastically but he was not yet done. He remained in the same position for a few more seconds, took a deep breath, and grit his teeth, expecting excruciating pain to spread throughout his legs while activating Walk of Thunder and Second Acceleration on top of exerting the Zephyr Step movement technique.
The flesh and skin around his ankles burst open but Dilan had already activated the True Undying Essence. His wounds healed in an instant and his physique was strengthened to an extent where his ankles didn't burst just from standing around.
However, Dilan didn't think that it was helpful to stay seated in the same position.
He helped himself by activating the Gravity Domain of his Hyel Destructo Armor Set. This allowed him to adjust the gravitational force that weighed on him and everything around him for a short time.
The pressure that pushed onto his ankles decreased drastically but that was only for a short moment as he dashed forward.
A thunderous noise resounded through the surrounding area the moment he accelerated. He had broken through the sound barrier with a single dash and passed by the others just a second later.
His speed was not something any of the present Demi Gods was able to reach, not yet, and neither was the body of a fourth Tier Ascender able to endure the power Dilan had to unleash to increase his speed to such a terrifying degree.
Blood splattered on the face of a few Demi Gods and their expression changed drastically as they realized what Dilan was doing to reach the speed some Demi Gods could only wish to attain in the future.
His body broke down and repaired the instance later, it broke down and was healed. This process repeated itself dozens of times each second and Dilan endured the pain that spread through his entire body without a change in his expression.
However, Dilan was not showing a pokerface as he emerged at the reinforce wooden walls of the Orc settlement. On the contrary, he was smiling brightly, from one ear to another.
Nothing in the Gate was capable of wiping off the smile of utter exhilaration from his face. He was ready to shed some blood, finally. While the others were fighting for the last 24 hours, only to take a short break at the end, Dilan had been forced to watch everything, their battles, their slowly rising mood as they got excited about fighting together, and the fact that they were more motivated to fight their opponents, more than ever at that.
Dilan had returned and they had taken the opportunity to show off their powers in the last 24 hours. He noticed their excitement and felt just like them.
Unfortunately, the spying crows had obstructed him from having fun as well, otherwise, he would have never held back.
But that was even more reason for him to give his all right now.
His speed thousands of times faster than the average human before the Primordial Ascension was enough to fly over the Orc settlement and to emerge in the midst of the hundred Blood Orc Shamans. However, that would take away all the fun.
Thus, instead of allowing anyone to see, or get a glimpse of where he was going, Dilan disappeared, leaving behind nothing but a bunch of golden sparkles.
He appeared in the midst of a large altar and he was surrounded b close to a hundred Blood Orc Shamans. His speed didn't decrease a bit after teleporting into the midst of the huge hall, where a ritual was currently happening.
Dilan saw a glimpse of a humongous black statue that was surrounded by ten golden braziers. Purple flames shot out of the golden braziers, illuminating the hall and the black statue.
"Is that your God? I'm sorry, but you won't be able to pay your tribute to your god anymore…except with your body and blood!" Dilan snickered as Oricalm enlarged.
The Soul Weapon's shape changed, Dilan grasped its hilt and he slashed out without showing any mercy.
Blood was already pouring down the Blood Orc Shamans' right wrist, trickling onto the ground and filling a carved magic circle. However, all of that was not something Dilan had to be worried about.
He emptied his body of lifeforce to manifest the Immortality Aura around Oricalm before he slashed down to the ground.
Oricalm took longer to take full shape but that was something Dilan had expected, after all, the soul weapon turned into something very special, a bladed whip!
The Soul weapon had turned into something very similar to the Serpentine Blade which Dilan had once used. It was a very powerful type of weapon that was especially good to use against a large number of opponents.
As if Dilan wanted to show off the power of his soul weapon he slashed Oricalm across the altar, cutting through the throat of a dozen monsters before the bladed whip returned to him.
Dilan could use his body, momentum, and his will to control the bladed whip precisely. This made it much easier to issue lethal blows, which was exactly what Dilan did.
His agility exceeded the norms of mortals as he dashed through the hall. Dead bodies fell to his left and right whenever he unleashed the bladed whip. It was very easy to use and exceptionally helpful in the given citation.
Even before the Blood Orc Shamans were able to react, more than half of them took their last breath as they died on the freezing cold basalt. Their eyes were filled with disbelief as the bloodied body of a truly monstrous existence zapped through the holy citadel of their Great God of War that was sullied with the blood of the tarnished human.
Dilan summoned several layers of destruction around the bladed whip when he noticed that something was odd about the carved magic circle in the ground. He had no idea about blood magic but that didn't mean he was helpless when it came to discovering something troublesome when he saw it.
Slashing the bladed whip downward, Dilan realized real quick that he could only inflict tiny scratches to the basalt around the carved magic circle.
'If they're reinforced a normal blade won't be enough…that's right…' Dilan thought while he retracted Oricalm.
He changed the shape of his weapon once again while sustaining the Immortality Aura and the layers of destruction.
Not even a second passed, in which Dilan remain idle.
He created thousand wind needles that were coated with the Power of Destruction. The needles were fired at the remaining living Blood Orc Shamans.
Following that; Dilan created hundreds of lightning bolts using his remaining mana and a combination of his Bearer of Pain special trait and the fact that his life force replenished in the blink of an eye.
Using mana several times the amount he could hold in his body, Dilan released the lightning bolts, killing every single one of the Blood Orc Shamans.
'You guys are weaker than expected…or am I just expecting too much?'
