Dilan felt a little bit weird when he was alone with the Oracle once again.
The Oracle's mood plummeted the instant Nial left them, but that was not of his concern.
'I really don't want to see you again…or do I?'
Dilan could tell that if they were to meet again, the reason for their meeting wouldn't really be nice. Thus, it was only obvious that he wouldn't want to meet Nial again, forever if possible.
Unfortunately, Dilan could also tell that it would be very difficult to prevent meeting the Eternal Darkness ever again, so he just accepted his fate…to a certain extent.
"Can I get my Perfect True Destruction Trait now and return to my family and friends?" Dilan asked, somewhat impatient.
It had been a long…a very very long time since he last saw his sisters and the remaining bunch of people he liked quite a bit.
Lara's child was probably a beautiful mature woman, or a mighty and charming young man by now. Dilan couldn't wait to see them all again, and he hoped that they would all be doing fine.
pAn,Da n<0,>v,e1 If not, he would personally search the Oracle, and slice her apart for lying to him!
"Yes Yes, calm your horses…" The Oracle merely said, waving her hand to manifest a light gray colored ring in her palm.
"During the last 10,000 years you never gave up in the attempts to become stronger, more knowledgeable, and improve in every possible way. Your determination was clearly perceived by the Universe, and even I have to agree that your achievements were remarkable.
Maybe, we will be able to see something grand from you…our expectations are high!"
Dilan grimaced when he heard what the Oracle said. He could tell that her words were somewhat truthful but also that she was forced to say some of them.
In the end, it didn't really mean anything to him because he didn't really care what the Universe or the Oracle expected from him. He would just give his utmost to achieve whatever he wanted!
He looked at the Oracle, nodded his head, and spread open his arms to give the Oracle the necessary space to do whatever was necessary to merge the True Destruction Trait with his Ring of Infinite Elements. Dilan had no idea what would happen but he had enough trust in his body to overcome everything, even if the Oracle were to make a big mess.
Fortunately, it was not necessary for his body to fix the mess he expected the Oracle to make.
The Oracle pierced out with her hand that held the light gray ring, aiming straight at his heart. Dilan didn't even close his eyes when he felt the Oracle's sharp nails dig deep into his chest.
She used a tremendous amount of force to get through to his heart which she grasped without hesitation. Her expression didn't change as she squeezed his heart. The Oracle started doing something to Dilan but the only thing he was able to feel was pain.
However, the pain was nothing new to him, which was why he ended up staring deep into the Oracle's eyes. Blood splattered on her face but she didn't even seem to notice anything.
Her entire focus was on Dilan's heart and what she saw beyond his fleshly body. The Oracle's eyes shined brightly as a tremendous amount of mana circulated through them at any time. Infusing her mana inside the light gray ring, she began to fusion process of Dilan's Ring of Infinite Elements with the True Destruction Trait.
Meanwhile, Dilan could only stay still and endure the pain silently.
He was not sure how much time passed but the Oracle stepped back after what felt like an eternity.
"Now you will have to heal and activate your True Undying Essence for a while. Afterward, you will probably be fine, I guess," The Oracle cleaned her hands and face without really paying attention to what happened to Dilan.
Dilan felt that his heart was beating wildly, much faster than before and that something within him had changed. It felt like a small change, at first, but that was proven wrong when every cell in his body died one after another.
It made sense why the Oracle asked him to activate his True Undying Essence, which Dilan did the moment he noticed that his entire body was dying.
He grit his teeth and didn't issue a single noise while the cells in his body died over and over again.
Every single cell in his body died within seconds, just to be reborn again. This sequence repeated itself for several minutes until his cells had adapted to the changes in his body.
Dilan was still feeling a little bit odd and his body was cold, so fucking cold. He started to shudder while the Oracle kept observing him. Her expression changed every few seconds and Dilan found it very difficult to understand what was going on in her mind.
"Just so you know, the name of your True undying Essence is <Carylon of Souls>," The Oracle said all of a sudden, without context. Her words attracted Dilan's attention but he couldn't utter a word yet.
His body was still regenerating and he felt way too cold to even think about moving his body either.
"Basically you will never be able to die as long as someone remembers you. That's the perk of your Origin ability's True Essence. It includes your opponents remembering you, or yourself remembering you. It doesn't even matter whether they remember your name, your power, your appearance, or something else that is directly related to you."
The Oracle's sudden revelation was quite confusing. Dilan was not sure whether she was serious or not either, after all, it sounded so ridiculous.
But it was as if the Oracle could read his thoughts as she continued to speak.
"I know another being with a True Divinity created with the same True Essence you have. You don't need to trust my words, but I felt like I had to tell you about it!"
